My title was stolen and I asked for helping me with an extension but they failed to return any of my calls so when I show up over there they will wonder why I'm cutting up like I plan to do so because no matter what you don't erase that person from your list by any means. Brought my SUV in for service and tire repair and replace the opposite tire on front to have matching set, I have the tire and rim insurance through BMW so I would've been responsible for the cost of second tire. Service went well other than the normal up sales which I decline till next service. After declining the up sale, they claim they could not find the leak in one of the tires which I have been airing up the tire weekly while waiting on the appointment. Then they claimed the tire with the leak had the cords showing which disqualify for warranty, but they forgot they sent me the video of the inspection which clearly show the tire in good standing. When I called them out on that they claimed they had my vehicle mixed up another customer. Go figure! After all, said and done they refuse to honor the warranty by saying the tire wasn't leaking but once I got home, I found the leak with soapy water. worst experience ever went in to get a key for my 06 bmw, key does not work still. They brought it back to the shop and charged me another $200 on top the $350 for the key to diagnose it. never stated anything about $200 for them to diagnose. I had a Pirelli die on my 750Li this past weekend and needed an immediate replacement. After calling around and having no luck I tried Moss and spoke with Cheyenne in the parts department. She said they had one but were too busy to install it. I said I would come by anyway and have it installed elsewhere. When I got there she had the tire and the receipt ready to go - in and out in 60 seconds! Plus we talked tires and she knew what she was taking about. I can not begin to tell you how much I recommend this place! I live in Baton Rouge and was trying to sell my BMW. I went to Brian Harris in Baton Rouge and they gave me the most insulting offer ever. It was literally $5K less than KBB, and the car was in excellent condition with low mileage. I called Moss and spoke with Michelle (she is such a doll). She helped calm me down and stop me from crying (I'm 7 months pregnant and very hormonal). She told me they would be more than happy to look at my car and give me a trade in value. They gave me a very fair KBB trade in value on my car, and we're so kind the whole time we were there. I am huge on customer service, especially since much of my family members are business owners. Moss had amazing customer service. They treated us like family and was so darn pleasant. While waiting I also noticed that every person waiting spoke to the BMW workers. The workers and customers all seemed as if they had a great relationship and the workers seemed to value each customer. I could sit here and write for days on how much I appreciate Moss, but I'll just sum this up by saying please go here for your next purchase. While on a road trip from FL to AZ my wife noticed a coolant leak on her C230. She had stopped at the dealer in New Orleans, who told her they might be able to to look at it in a week. She pushed on, but by Lafayette it was obvious that the leak was serious. She pulled into Moss late Sat afternoon. All the Mechanics were gone but the sales reps helped her set up a Monday appt. Monday they found the leak and ordered the hose. It arrived Tuesday, they got it installed Wednesday morning and she was on her way. Just what you would expect from a Mercedes dealer. She said they were very helpful and pleasant. After her bad experience in New Orleans she had nothing but good to say about Moss. read more

Let me just say... my initial buying experience with Moss and my sales person were great. Since then... I would NOT recommend them to anyone. I am HIGHLY disappointed!!!!! I take pride in keeping my credit history to the best standard I can and when I started receiving calls from the bank where I had my trade in financed because Moss had not paid them off, needless to say I was upset. Not to mention I called and texted a lot only to be lied to that it was being taken care of. Over a month later, after I've already paid a note on my BMW my trade in just was paid off and after it was reported to the credit bureaus and my score has dropped 100 POINTS!!!!!!!!!! DONT GO HERE FOR BMW SERVICE. This place is a scam. My gas tank would only fill halfway, so I paid $1,000 to have the problem fixed. The problem wasn't fixed and on top of that I brought it back and they tried to charge me $2,000 dollars to fix it AGAIN. The representatives didnt even bat an eye, they don't care at all about you or your car. I hope people read this because THIS PLACE IS A SCAM BE ADVISED. Review for Moss BMW - Driving from Texas to Louisiana I stopped for gas and the next morning realized I lost my gas cap. Nonetheless, I called here this morning to get an appointment if possible and lady said "we will try to fit you in" well she surely did and I had a same day appointment at 2:00. When I arrived was instantly greeted and I asked for Phillip which is who I was told this morning to ask for. I was escorted to him and how nice was he. I told him about my engine light needing to be reset because of gas cap then I told him my oil change light recently came on (told the dealership in Austin to take care of everything due soon when I got a new battery but they didn't). Anyway, Phillip was very attentive and listened to what I had to say and gave me an estimate of time to wait... An hour. Figured I can just wait, no place to go in this rain. He walked me over to the lounge and showed me where everything was located... Very nice. I miss the southern hospitality living in Texas. Pretty sad but visiting home, Louisiana, always makes me miss it because I am away so frequently that I forget how nice people can be here. It just so happened that there was an incident with my car which made my stay there nearly 5 hours, past closing time. I was given the managers loaner for the night and the next morning, Christmas Eve, I received a call from Phillip and my car was ready. I gave 4 stars mainly because I could have been given an earlier warning that my car would take longer than the initial 2 hours as estimated. read more

Then an E46 m3. Then another honda. Then a bmw 330. Then a bmw m3 2011. Throughout all of these purchases I was treated well by the sales and service staff. I was at the dealership for 3 hours for a simple oil change. Then I found out later they didn't clamp down the air filter and I've been driving around with it like that for 3 months. They overbook their appointments, then try to sell you on things you don't need and it took forever and who knows what damage happened to my engine with the filter not working properly. One of the worst service experiences ever! Service was rude and incomplete. Stay away. Vehicle went in for routine maintenance, promised in three hours. Took two days, no communication from Moss - no apology. Went in to pick up this AM and stood there unacknowledged for 5 minutes before we were barely acknowledged. When we inquired about the delay, received no answer - we were down a couple of guys I think is what the guy said. Ask to have the GM call me - we'll see if that happens. Asked for the GM's cards and was told "we don't have any cards, we're all new". The cherry on top of it all was car wasn't even washed - despite having it on the invoice that they washed it. I don't even trust that the scheduled maintenance was performed based on this experience - will likely have to take it over to Baton Rouge just to ensure what they said happened actually did. After years and years of buying Hondas I received TERRIBLE service in the "service" department (how ironic). No call backs to make an appointment, to let me know the status of my car when it has been sitting there all day, nor after I was promised a call back. I was told my car would be ready for pick-up the same afternoon after arriving at 7:00am to be first in line for when they open at 7:30am. My transmission fluid needed to be changed and an actuator in the door needed to be replaced... 8 hours later and no one has let me know the diagnosis, estimates, etc. etc. My car has not been touched yet and I was not told anything. All this time I am waiting, on foot, all due to a pure lack of courtesy, decent service, and competent workers. read more

Worst service department I have ever encountered! Kevin Boullard is heroically inept, and Josh Begnaud is a liar. I wouldn't let these guys service my lawnmower. Guess they rely on being the only dealership in the area for continued business. If you care at all about your BMW then the 60 mile drive to the next nearest dealership is well worth it. All the reviews that say this service department is great because they smile and say "have a nice day" DO NOT reflect the quality of service that actually gets done. Their incompetence nearly ruined the engine in my ZHP, and when I confronted them with their mistake, all I got was a bunch of empty promises and unreturned phone calls. For those interested, here are the specifics: Paid for a complete mechanical inspection on a '05 330i zhp that i was buying from an individual in Lafayette. Mechanic noted the items that needed attention and seller agreed to pay for all necessary repair work. Specifically, there was a leak in the cooling system and the lower radiator hose and aux fan switch were to be replaced. The service advisor Kevin assured me that the car was fixed and ready for pickup. I told Kevin that I would be there Saturday, and he assured me he would be there with all my repair paperwork. When i arrived at 1:00 precisely on time, Kevin was gone, there was no repair invoice or paperwork, the service department was closed and only a couple of sales people were there. When I asked where Kevin was, I was told he left early to go to a sports game, despite having spoken with him an hour prior while en route to the dealership letting him know i was OMW and would be there at 1:00. After driving all the way from Houston, this alone would have pissed me off greatly, but wait, it gets better. I checked the car out, checked all fluid levels, check tire pressure, etc. and proceeded to drive back to Houston. The first thing that was obvious was that the 4 wheel alignment that I had them do was off. The car tramlined like crazy and not nearly enough negative camber which I would have known if I had gotten an Alignment sheet along with the other paperwork Kevin promised me. "OK, so I'm gonna need to get another alignment" I thought. Then after about 120 miles the radiator warning light started coming on. I pulled over, let the car cool off and opened the reservoir cap. It was freakin' empty! There was coolant sprayed all over the engine compartment! I'm furious but almost home, so I filled the reservoir with several bottles of drinking water and carefully drove the rest of the way home. When I looked at the cooling system the following morning, it was obvious where the leak was coming from (yep, u guessed it), the auxiliary fan switch in the lower radiator hose! It turned out that they had NOT replaced the fan switch and its o-ring when they swapped the lower radiator hose; despite Kevin telling me over the phone and in an email that both the hose and the switch had been replaced. Now, any BMW mechanic worth his salt knows that you don't reinstall an old O-ring in a e46 cooling system, and the aux fan switch (or its o-ring at the very least) should always be replaced when changing the lower radiator hose. Furthermore, if they had done a pressure test on the cooling system after "completing" the repair, like you are supposed to, then they would have spotted the leaking o-ring. I doubt even that the lower radiator hose was the original problem and that it was most likely the fan switch that was leaking all along. So, after almost $600 in repair work on my car, nothing was actually fixed. I took pictures of the leaking switch and coolant drenched engine compartment and contacted Josh the service manager and told him what had transpired. He assured me that he would look at the invoice, emails and pics that I forwarded to him and make it right (which I took to mean that they would pay for any additional work that needed to be done to fix their screw up). I waited, and waited, and... you get the idea: nothing, not a peep. I emailed him again, left a voice mail and a msg with the receptionist, but got no response. So, I took the car to my mechanic in Houston. He replaced the aux fan switch and pressure tested the cooling system and said "you're good to go". I sent a copy of this repair invoice to Josh Begnaud and said "you owe me $103, cut me a check this week or I'm taking it up with your General Manager". Again, no response. I then called the GM of the Moss BMW dealership, told him the whole story, forwarded all the emails (always good to have an email chain outlining exactly what was and wasn't done and who is lying, etc), pictures and invoices. He assured me that he would get back with me in a few days. Surprise! never heard anything from him. Clearly if they make a mistake, they will never voluntarily take accountability for it. What slime balls!! Formal complaint with BMW North America filed. read more
