Ordered a new '23 Gladiator Fall '22 to be a stablemate for my pristine 2001 Wrangler. Acadiana JEEP is a mixed bag. the owner, Ms. Vega, the Senior management guy Jeremy Hull, & my advisor Taylor are very good. The others are typical car dealer types. I do extensive research before even looking: car mags, other owners, on-line, etc. I most often know more about models, options, prices, etc. than the salesmen. The Gladiator shut-down at 700 miles & had to stay in shop for 3 weeks. Afterwards, for 2+ years it has been trouble-free. If considering a new JEEP, please study first. The current Stellantis JEEPS have many counterproductive "economy" features and "safety" features which are totally inappropriate on an OFF-ROAD vehicle, and can't be disconnected, or even interrupted. Although I have owned JEEPS for 46 years, and used them everywhere from high Rockies to South Texas beaches, to Louisiana & Mississippi swamps, I don't think I'll ever buy another unless Stellantis learns what Americans actually use their vehicles for and corrects current deficiencies. We have made a couple really long highway trips in our JEEPS, we don't consider them as highway vehicles and keep other vehicles for Interstate driving. I don't abuse any mechanical equipment to show-off. Anyone new to JEEPS would do well to do all "customization" via the JEEP FACTORY or MoPar ONLY. JEEP Engineers know what works. Many aftermarket items look great at first, but disappoint AND reduce resale value. If I were to buy here again I'd start with Mr. Hull and Taylor; both are honest & knowledgeable. Bonne Chance ! I've read most all the reviews here and I was hoping to be able to give some praise and redeem this…read moreplace with a 5 star rating, but they simply wouldn't let me. My story is almost that of a saga, but I'll try to make it shorter than reading the Harry Potter series. Lol. I have several cars of my own in addition to my wife's car and my 5 kids autos. Additionally, I buy and trade cars in almost annually so in my old age, I've been to a lot of dealers. Locally, we frequent the AUDI, BMW, VW, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Ford dealers on a regular basis. So. My story. I have a 2006 S2000 and it needed a new top. I stopped in here and was quoted $1800 for the top and $1800 for labor. Wow. Big ticket item. So I decided to try and find a factory top online for less since they said they would install a factory top if I got one elsewhere. I found one and saved $700 on it. 3 months later I took it to get installed (arranged the drop off with service). 17 days later and a dozen phone calls and the car was ready. Kind of. It turned out that the mechanic who could do convertible tops was no longer employed so they called me 3 days later and told me they couldn't do it. After several calls and discussions, Community offered to coordinate the install with another shop for a reasonable fee. The top was installed and looks good. However, during the transport of the vehicle from one shop to the other, the car had an electrical issue. This was also repaired but when I picked up the car the service engine light was on. It turns out they missed (or fell off?) a vacuum hose. Aside from that the car was filthy as I picked out two handful of leaves and acorns out of every crevice of the car including the floors being a mess. Had there been no engine light on and was provided a clean car, I would have given 4 or 5 stars. I do thank Matthew and he really went the extra mile to try and make good on everything including asking me to come back another day so they could clean the car but this whole ordeal has me asking what kind of leadership the service department is under and the talent of the mechanics there. After 17 days this car shouldn't have been delivered with the engine light still on and the car filthy. (There was even sticky spots like soda on the inside dash and outside which I assume was from the guys putting in the top). Overall, a decent outcome but certainly not on par with other dealers in Lafayette. Maybe in time they will get better. I do enjoy the popcorn they offer in the waiting room and the showroom is new and modern so they have the proper facilities, it's just working to be perfect in service. Enjoy!

I specifically asked if that was enough to hold the car and was told yes. Around 1pm, I told them we'd be there around 5:30 with the check. They said that was fine. We get there at 5:30pm just to be told they have bad news but THEY SOLD THE CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE. no other explanation. They said they'd make it up to us but all that included was upselling to a more expensive car with higher mileage and extending the loan. Please tell me how that is helping us out. I have receipts for the down payment and texts to prove we stayed in stayed in touch. One star is too much, wish I could give no stars.

I lost my shit I'm angry as fuck. Before the conversation was over they told me they don't really do well with dirtbikes so they weren't really interested. Instead spent money I gave them on a fence to close to building to build a shop, land not proper for intention of businesses. Then tried to get me to pay for a surveyor that was not my responsibility. Prior to going into building inspection was done, they were notified and nothing was corrected. Electrical is outdated and would completely short out, wood rotten no insulation. After I was there I could not use it but only 2 weeks. When I told them I was leaving they tried to get 4 years worth of payments I signed for and tried to evict me who was already leaving. Which I had to pay an attorney to show up in court while I cleaned on the moving day I specified and stated they would put their property in a trust so no one can touch it. They know exactly what they did. The only 2 weeks I was there they turned off the electricity so I couldn't make any money. I guess they were wanting to have court in the day to show I was still there to swindle extra money they didn't deserve.
