I went to service my Mercedes and I had a great experience. Everyone there was very personable and knowledgeable. The only thing I was expecting was a call to let me know when it was ready but unfortunately I had to call and touch base. Overall, i definitely recommend. Kept vehicle 2 months with very little communication on a miss. Wanted to charge me $1600 and had not even fixed the miss. Ended up being ripped off for $800 at the end. Truck has an additional code now. Will.never bring another vehicle there. read more

I'm a college student who lives away from home and knows nothing about cars. I'm July, I had to get my car battery terminals replaced. Everywhere else in town wanted to over charge me and make me wait at least 5 days. I called Stan's and they fit me into their schedule so I could have my car back that day and save an Uber ride. I also got my battery replaced with an 18 month warranty. Today, my battery died and I called them to make sure I could replace it. I told them I had work for a certain time. They said it wouldn't be delivered until the afternoon, which was when I worked. However, they took time out of their day to pick it up themselves to make sure I had it done before work. Stan provided excellent overview of his service and how they do business. He performed a thorough maintenance check on my sister's SUV and identifed the most necessary repairs. It should have a zero star, for starters i should have known better, Tim was the same guy at High End Motors when my Jaguar, Cadillac sts and Lincoln was messed up there with Tim, so now my Range Rover went there to change a starter, after the 400 was paid then they tell me that i didn't need the starter and by the way my key has to stay in the ignition at all times, because if i take it out it won't start, truck has to go to BR to be fixed. Next husband sends his 1967 Lincoln after he paid 1,000 plus, he gets in the car and its worst than before the tune up. So now it goes to high end motors where Tim is no longer employed, so before you pay check your vehicle better yet dont send it there. read more

HORRIBLE! Wanted the A/C checked because it wasn't blowing cold air like it should. Said they would call me before they started doing anything drastic like pulling the dashboard off. They did anyway! Center console, radio, etc. was taken apart! Wanted to charge $600 for labor not to include parts! No way!! Went up there, took my vehicle back, come home and find that a cap was never put back on my low side servicing port under the hood! And to top it off, items in my glovebox were on my floorboard and there were greasy fingerprints all over everything and an big oil drip on the grill! Seriously?! SLOPPY SLOPPY work! Don't come here! Last week, on my way to drop my kids off at school, my tire alarm went off in my car. I got out to assess the problem and my tire was REALLY low. The gas station I was at had an out of order air machine. I hung my head low as I walked over to Stan's in my pajama pants. The door was open and the guy that greeted me was so very nice. He had me drive around to the back where one of the guys filled up my tire and sent me on my way. I went back the following day because the alarm went off again. Once again, I was on the way to drop the kids off at school. The same guy greeted us and said they would take care of us but that we would have a short wait because they weren't open quite yet. It was then that I realized that they weren't even open when I strolled in there the previous day! They had helped me when they didn't need to. I agreed to wait, three kids in tow, and much to my surprise they started working on my tire before they opened and I was on my way before 8:15 rolled around. If I could give negative five stars I would!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! They will steal you money and ruin your car. I asked them to run a diagnostic on my car and tell me everything that was wrong with it. They said all I needed was an oil change and my fan shroud fixed and a few other things. I spent $1,100, then when I got the car home, my car battery went dead. After I paid for my repairs and a new battery, my car was still running horribly so I brought it back in, and they told me much more was wrong with the car (this was three days later) including three bad tires, which tires don't go bad in three days, and that I should probably think about getting rid of my car. I spent $1,400 for them to mess my car up even more and tell me to get rid of it. I followed the reviews on this site, and I got totally screwed. SERIOUSLY STAY AWAY!!!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR EVEN MORE TO THEN MAKE YOU PAY TO FIX IT!!!!!! read more

Stan's Auto was great! We are a touring band that was only in town for one day. We were having issues with our 1999 Ford E-350 Passenger Van and they fixed it on the same day. Though it was pricey, they offered us a discount. Super happy with everything! The van runs better than ever. read more

The man charged me 300 bucks for my fuel filter. The most expensive one I could find was Napa for 180. Auto zone they are as low as 90 bucks. Then he charged me 40 bucks for a sock. But they come with a sock!!!!! 600 bucks to change my fuel filter. Oh and he changed all my lines and changed me extra for that too. Labor was kinda high 90 an hour. But I could handle that. Then I asked. For 600 did u fix my evap too. He said no. So my check engine light is still on.... He got it running but now its running like shit. I have been going to Stan's for about 18 years, and my family has been going there for a decade before that. This is the kind of auto repair shop that has honest and trustworthy mechanics that really have a rapport with automobiles. They've been great at helping me diagnose and fix all sorts of problems on my old MG, as well as maintaining and repairing my more modern car and van.
