I don't recommend this place at all. I brought my car in for an appointment at 8:30 am Wednesday to have a clutch plate and flywheel installed. On Thursday am, 24 hrs later, they called to say the flywheel didn't fit, but they had contacted the company I ordered it from and were waiting to hear back about a swap as it was being wrongly advertised as a fit for my car. They also said the slave cylinder was leaking, and I authorized that repair. Around midday they hadn't heard back and so I said to go ahead with their part, but she said to wait for the company's response. Early afternoon a man called and told me he had to start cuz my car was occupying his hoist. I told him I'd already said to go ahead but she had stalled me, and to go ahead now. He said the flywheel he had cost $97. I thought it was expensive but didn't want to hold up work any longer, so let it go, although I looked it up on Autozone's site and found it for 63.99. Another 24 hrs passed without word and so I called at 2pm on Friday to see when I could pick it up that day. Instead I was told that I wouldn't be able to get it until some unknown time on Monday, a full 5 days after I brought it in. I told her that if he had been honest with me about not having it ready Friday I would have insisted he wait until I picked up the flywheel for $30 less at Autozone and brought it in Thurs. pm. Each day without a car is a day I couldn't work, as my job requires I travel to different schools around the parish. I had to cancel everything for about a week, and the expected bill for the work they are doing is about $800. How am I supposed to recover from this? These are uncaring and thoughtless people, and they are sure making a lot of money off my poor old 1997 Mazda protege. read more
