My favorite experience involved a pesky mouse problem we had in our kitchen...a lesser exterminator probably would have just kept putting down more traps and more poison. BioTech explained that you can and should seal off your kitchen so there are no holes large enough for a mouse to enter. They did this, but we kept seeing the mouse. They kept coming back (probably 5-6 times) at no extra charge, each time searching and finding an additional entry point. Eventually, they got them all, and we've never had a mouse since! Thanks, BioTech!

I think they may have canceled or rescheduled more appointments than they actually showed up for. Today was typical: a few months ago they told me they would come today between 10 and 12. I got an email yesterday confirming my appointment for today -- between 2 and 4. In the end it didn't matter because no one showed up. I texted them around 4:30 and about 20 minutes later they called and said that their technician would be late (yes: obviously, since he was already late). So now I went on ChatGPT and it looked at their invoice and explained exactly what DIY stuff I would need every 3-4 months to easily do exactly what I was paying BioTech to do, at one-tenth the price.

I live in an old historical part of Baltimore and came home to the lovely surprise of a thick swarm of flying ant-like insects all over the property. They were congregating around the old wood piles, so I was certain they were eating it and called up in a panic. (I had never dealt with a pest issue before and I was terrified at the thought of something possibly eating my recent purchase). So I called and he asked me to text him a few pictures. Turns out it was just citronella ants. (Generally harmless and definitely don't eat wood.) He could have easily taken me for a ride in my naivety, but he didn't.
