Back in 2023 a General Contractor was hired to do some work and repairs on my property. The general Contractor instructed me to apply for a loan with mosaic and he stated the bank would provide the payouts as the work got completed and a certificate of completion would be required to show the bank the work was done. Mosaic deposited the full amount to the general contractor and no work has been initiated or completed I have sent multiple emails showing no work was ever done or initiated. They claim I have to reach out to the general contractor but based on my research he is getting sued by multiple victims and he stopped answering and is no where to be found I requested the certificate of completion from mosaic and they refuse to provide anything because most likely a fake one was provided and they did nothing to protect me as the consumer. Mosaic is not taking responsibility for assisting the General Contractor with fraud and embezzling funds from the consumers. read more

Great job done and great customer service. Very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this company for great service!

I'm still fighting with Freedom Forever Solar and Mosaic/Solar Servicing/Concord Servicing because Freedom Forever and I discussed adding additional panels to my existing solar system. The project got cancelled, but Freedom Forever did not cancel the loan (which is fraud, accepting payment for work never done). For months, Mosaic wouldn't cancel the loan because they were in bankruptcy and my loan was an asset. And they sent out someone to put a lock on my existing solar system for nonpayment. So they put a lock on a solar system they had no authority over. I cut the lock off. I haven't taken them to court yet because as soon as I do, the courts will take a year and a half to resolve anything and I'm hopeful this will be resolved this month. Mosaic has now exited bankruptcy. Both companies agree that the loan should be cancelled, but they still haven't processed the cancellation. Apparently this happened enough that there is a month backlog in processing cancellations. How many bad loans did they have for it to take a month to process the cancellation? Meanwhile they keep contacting me to collect a loan I don't owe and they've wrecked my credit because I won't pay them. Do not do business with Freedom Forever or Mosaic/Solar Servicing. So, I'm having a very bad time, and any well wishes would be appreciated. read more

Mosaic team, I have submitted a claim notice on July 02, 2024. See attached FedEx tracking: 276850227226 deliveries to your Oakland office. This is the proof that it was delivered in July. You must stop stone-walling my application. This case is not closed, it's open waiting for your response. Enclosed pls find attached a copy of the claim notice that was mailed to your office per Section K of the contract notifying you that I am requesting Arbitration for resolving my fraudulent loan that you issued to your vendor back in JULY. The company took $45,000 and ran away. You have funded them without verifying the delivery of the contract. This madness must be investigated, it's been 2 years since I reported this fraud, and you have stone-walled me without any resolution on the loan. Why do I have to pay you this loan if it was NOT delivered by your agent? Your contractor ran away. Threw a wrench into my home sale transaction costing me $25k to pay off the solar panel loan instead of my buyer. My buyer now has the benefit of the panels at the expense of a 70 year old widow on a fixed income due to Mosaic's turmoil. Called numerous times trying to resolve to no avail. I sent an email to support when they saw my post and still no help. This call center has no authority to resolve issues and claims they don't have a contact for corporate hq in Oakland, California where there the power lies to address issues. They read off a script and deny, deny, deny. Don't waste your time calling them. While obsequiously polite, they only give unhelpful stock answers. read more

CUSTOMERS BEWARE IT'S A SCAM!!! We asked a sales rep for only a quote for panels, but my wife and I ended up being signed for a loan for panels. We never signed any documents or received panels. Now we have $30,000 loan for panels on our credit report. We have been trying to cancel this service for 10 months, but have received the run-around from Mosaic Solar Company and Freedom Forever. Both companies keep telling us they are waiting for the other company to cancel the service. When I tried to get them on the phone, they stated they couldn't be on the phone legally at the same time. I believe they are stalling me so I will have to start paying on the loan after the 12-month cancellation period is up. CUSTOMERS, PLEASE BEWARE, DON'T GIVE MOSAIC OR FREEDOM FOREVER THE TIME or information, THEY WILL ILLEGALLY SIGN YOU UP FOR CONTRACT. Steven Grandberry 254-392-4022 read more

This company is a scam. I tried to get Solar with them with them and it's been nearly a year. With multiple issues and reaching a point where it seemed to be no progress, I decided to cancel. After Cancelling, Freedom Forever, , tried charging me $3500. Then, the financing company that they worked with, Mosaic, put a lien against me. They are saying I owe them $40,000+ and it's on my credit report. The credit bureau said they will not remove it. Mosaic being on my credit all year, without any solar panels on my roof has been one of the issues. I have informed them of these issues and given them time to rectify it but instead the situation just kept getting worse and worse. I would never use any of these companies again, even if they were to give me something for free. And I would not advise anyone else to use them. read more

This company came to my property at midnight and put a lock on our power supply leaving us, in Florida, no power, no AC and pitch black. While I'm 9 months pregnant and have a toddler trying to sleep, it's 90° outside overnight. The payment isn't supposed to be made until tomorrow. read more

Everything. I would leave 0 stars if possible. Harassing me about the installation, instead of communicating with the installer. Billing me in spite of the fact I am not generating. I used mosaic out of Arizona Would not recommend them. Your first 16 or 18 mo you are paying interest only and nothing to principal I used them for a solar install thinking the contractor doesn't get paid until work is complete. You would be better off getting a heloc loan or saving up. I made 4 payments and just paid it off Otherwise you are just throwing money into the wind. read more

I only selected one star to get it logged! i've been going through this battle between mosaic solar lending and freedom forever since September 2024. I canceled my contract to get solar panels, which you would think would cancel the contract for the solar financing but that did not happen congruently. The financing loan has been placed on my credit and it increased my debt to income rate. I immediately contacted mosaic lending and was given the typical rhetoric of freedom forever needs to contact mosaic's cxl department and then that would take 45 days and then that'll take another 45 etc. they basically shifted blame back to one another! Then about July 2025, discovered mosaic was filing a bankruptcy. contacted them about the status of this loan being that I don't have solar panels nor do I have the $30,000 they were going to lend me said solar panels. I didn't get any information or feedback from mosaic. I work very closely with a customer service rep from freedom forever who has been very helpful to me, but we are not getting anywhere with Mosaic! I understand that there are terms and things that need to be done however this has been going on since September 2024. I am completely in awe as to why this loan has not been canceled or whatever it is they need to do and have it removed off of my credit report. I have even tried to dispute it with the credit bureau and that has been disallowed. I would just caution anyone out there that is interested in getting solar to be very suspicious of the lending company their and ensure that getting what you were paying for or at least cancellation policies are that it works in a timely manner. ooh and they have started sending me notifications of when my Mosaic loan payment is due! read more

This company is a complete scam. They work with California Dream Remodeling to scam the elderly. My mother was scammed out of her savings over $100,000 and suckered into a $55,000 loan with this fraudulent loan operation. If the loan wasn't paid back in 5 years she would have to pay $95,000. When we called them yesterday they said her case was closed. This must be due to the elderly fiduciary abuse case we opened up with the county of Los Angeles as well as the complaint with the Consumer of Business Affairs. I was transferred to their fraud department that doesn't exist. This is an elaborate scheme to fraud the elderly community. BEWARE!! Update: Mosaic blocked my email address after calling them out again. They were communicating with me through email now they blocked me. They need to be held accountable and shame on Yelp for having them on their website. read more

Do NOT sign with Mosaic. When I started paying my loan, they indicated that all my payments had to go towards deferred interest. Then when I finished paying the deferred interest, they indicated that my new payments had to go towards the interest that accrued during the period that I was paying the deferred interest. So, I have been making payments for 16 months and have not made a single dent in the original loan amount. At this rate, I will be paying this loan for the remainder of my life as it appears that funds will never go towards the principle. Just a total ripoff. PLEASE BE AWARE!!! read more

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! It has been 17 months of nothing but problems. Avoid any solar company that uses this company for the loan. It is a horrible company and a horrible loan. Some fault is on my for not checking into the company more but there have been so many problems it would take forever to list. Currently we paid off the loan by getting HELOC loan just to get away from them. We paid them off but still trying to charge us $2330. They like to put you on hold an pretend to talk to supervisors then come back and say "email' us. I requested a breakdown of the loan for the past 17 months and they were not able to do that. It is not in your client portal. Just avoid trust all the negative reviews. 0 Stars! read more

I was given a quote to pay the loan down in order to meet a "target balance" in writing via an email and two other times via two different reps on the phone. I paid the said amount to principal. A few days later they said it wasn't enough and basically because I paid ONE day too early they would have to keep a crazy amount of the money that was meant to go to principal to pay interest, thus not meeting my "target balance". Although everyone I have talked to is kind and respectful, I keep getting the run around by their supervisor Alex. All I ask is that the money Mosaic said that would be applied to principal actually be applied to principal. But they say it's impossible to do. I have all the receipts and basically they said the reps were wrong and their email was wrong. I hope they see this and do right by their own statements to their customer. read more

This company is engaged in loan agreement violations and needs to be put out of business!!!! **Mosaic Employee Reviews from Indeed.com - See attached pics of Mosaic's own employees claiming that the company has violated loan agreements!!! They are surprised that there have been so few lawsuits .*** In October 2020, I hired a contractor to convert our garage into a guest house. The contractor offered financing through Mosaic, so I signed up for a home improvement loan. The contractor showed up at our home the day after we signed the loan agreement in October 2020, and knocked down the outside of our garage wall. The contractor did not return to my home to conduct any additional work until March 2021. I found out that Mosaic disbursed $16,500 directly to the contractor in January 2021. Mosaic partners with contractors/installers and sends funds directly to them. The borrower has absolutely no control over when and how the money is disbursed. None of this was explained to me when I signed up for the loan. I fired my contractor in April 2021 because too much time had gone by (over 5 months) and their work was not in compliance with my contract. Mosaic would not cancel the loan because funds had been disbursed, and they said the contractor had to approve the loan cancellation. I got my lawyer involved and was able to get the contractor to send written approval of the loan cancellation to Mosaic on 5/6/21. It is now 7/1/21, and Mosaic has not cancelled the loan. Instead, Mosaic is repeatedly sending me statements that I am behind on payments, and I even received a letter from a debt collector, Concord Loan Servicing, stating that my account is seriously past due. I have followed up with Mosaic multiple times about the loan cancellation, and I get a different story every time. This company is the absolute worst!!!! read more

This loan company is a complete fraudulent company. They work with the installers and are deceptive in their loans. I've been paying interest only for a year - which I've now been told has accrued interest!!! Neither Mosaic or the installer stand behind the service. After 2 years I'm writing another negative review! My client is now selling her home and the buyers have been DENIED for the loan. They are asking for them to reapply within 30 days or payoff the loan. Paying off will NOT work due to my sellers current circumstances. We are at the end of escrow and only need the solar to close. The realtors, escrow, the buyers, sellers, loan officer, title even has reached out and gotten nowhere with customer service. If the buyers are approved for a MORTGAGE loan that already takes into consideration the solar payment, how are they not approved for the solar loan???!!! RUN from this solar company!!! They are a headache to deal with and have extremely poor customer service! I've also reached out to the owner before writing this review and have not gotten a response back. read more

I've called them six times about having my UCC temporarily removed, as US Bank has this as a stipulation for a home equity loan. Each time they were supposed to call me back, but never did. I asked to talk to a supervisor, and they were in a meeting...evidently for days! I finally got hold of a supervisor, explaining the situation, and they said they had to take it to senior management. Horrible customer service. They gave me the run around on how they don't do that anymore, but will do a subordination. The problem is lenders won't accept a subordination. Finally, they say there will do it, after six calls, but the time has run out. read more

This company needs to be investigated for their shady dealing with MULTIPLE solar companies who have gone out of business. Tucson news reported on this (I was interviewed) and have since gotten legal council. They are straight up a scam. Check out the dealers fees you just signed up for on that contract. I have nothing but problems paying off my loan in full. First they incorrectly documented my account number. When I inquired as to why no funds had been withdrawn from my financial institution, I was treated as if I was in error. After listening to the recorded conversation, it was acknowledged that Mosaic had made the error. A week had passed and during this time interest was added to my balance that had been paid in full. Horrible Company. DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT! I got lucky that they didn't start charging me until after my solar panels were turned on (many people weren't so lucky), but now that I'm paying the amount I owe keeps increasing. After digging around their horrible website that offers almost no information at all, I found out that they are compounding interest daily. So I've paid almost a thousand dollars to them and the total amount I owe is actually $300 more than I originally borrowed. They seem very predatory. They also assured me that automatic payments were set up, and they were not. If I hadn't gone in and set them up again, I would have been hit with late charges as well. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST company EVER!!!! I received a loan through them for a bathroom update. I was advised that my monthly payments would be set at a certain amount, including interest which was reasonable. I started making the payments and noticed my balance was not moving. I found out the reason was because the majority and sometimes ALL of my payment was being applied towards interest. I called and was advised that they charged a daily interest fee as well as the interest that I had already agreed too. I still didn't understand how my full balance was being charged to interest especially if I was paying well before the due date. I had to take a loan to pay the balance in full.
