    Chicken enchiladas

We went to Mosaic for dinner. It was 6 pm and already full. We had to wait for 1 hour and we got seat at bar. So I would recommend having reservations here in advance. Its pretty popular and for good reasons. We had 1 drink, chips and corn dip, bbq tacos with salmon and chicken enchiladas. Service was great and bar attendant made customized drink on our request. Food was great. I loved the tacos most. I wish I could have tried more and they had option of mix and match. Next time I will try fish tacos. Parking was available just outside on street. Its 2 hour parking and it was easy to find on Wednesday evening.

Amazing flavors, warm and welcoming staff. It's a must do place. This was my second visit within a year and both visits were perfect. Today, I absolutely inhaled the fish tacos. Perfect fresh fish with a mango salsa and a bit of a spice kick. Previously I had the Mexican street corn dip.. amazing. This is a small place yet lots of bar and window seating. I always try to get to a place like this at opening. No problem getting a seat. Service is quick. Love this place.

Driving by here we saw a crowd of people waiting to get in so my husband and I were curious about the hype. We looked them up and it looked like a cool spot to try! We called them and they were able to get us in within 30 mins. When we got there, we were greeted and sat right away. Small intimate seating and every seat was taken. Our server was extremely nice and sweet! She gave recommendations and was super attentive to all guests. We ordered street corn on the cob, fish tacos, and a fish bowl. Food was great and portions were considerate. The service was outstanding and would definitely stop back in when we come back to Camden!

After a hike in Camden hills, this is the place to be. I had the pleasure of dining here on Sunday night after a nice walk. It was busy when we arrived, but we managed to get seats at the bar. The restaurant is cozy and full of beautiful photos on the walls. Now to the food and drinks. Everything was extraordinary! From the appetizers to the entrees, I was impressed by the flavors and colors. My girlfriend had the enchiladas and they smelled heavenly. Cheesey, warm, and delicious. This came with a side of beans and rice that was also tasty. Both reheated well the next day as well. My salmon bowl was also exciting. The textures worked together nicely and it was more than enough food for us both. If you come here hungry, I really think you should try the cheese dip too-their chips are light and airy and pair so well with the dip. I don't think there is a single dish here you would be unpleased with. If I were to come again I would try the korean bbq here. It was something the waitresses mentioned being one of their favorite dishes and it seems like a unique flavor to come out of this kitchen.

We ordered two types of sliders, one being the fried chicken and they were almost inedible. The chicken was barely fried and then buffalo sauce was slathered all over them. The burger sliders were ok but nothing memorable. As far as the service, while the bartenders were friendly when they came around, they couldn't keep up with the crowd. We waited and waited to be served and they most times did not even look at the guests at the bar to see if they needed anything. You will find Italian, French, Brazilian, African tajine and of course a burger . We started with the house dip which is amazing red pepper served with beautifully roasted pita bread. The portions are huge so we decided to share the schnitzel. As expected, a huge serving. Perfectly cooked so the chicken was not dry but tender and the breading was crispy and crunchy. It had a honey mustard drizzle which I don't normally love but it worked here. We swapped the beer braced cabbage it comes with for the truffle fries which were incredible and so many even shared we could not finish them. Obviously hand cut and fried here. The flourless cake served with raspberries and cream was excellent also. Truly fine dining experience with a very well thought out and executed menu

It would be a tough act to follow no matter where we went to eat. With that in mind, I feel I'm being very fair with a 4-star rating. It was good, but it could have been better. In fact, I would be giving them a 3.8 or 3.7 if that were an option. A 5-star rating may be within their reach, but they're not there yet in my book. The location is excellent. Downtown Camden, steps from the waterfront. Check. We made 5 o'clock reservations, as the website suggested we do if we were hoping for outdoor, upper deck seating--to take in the view. That option is weather-dependent, of course--and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, rain was in the forecast that night. For making those reservation instructions clear and easy to understand: Check. So, we chose two seats at the bar. The bar was relatively small--there was room for ten or maybe twelve patrons--but the chairs were not crammed close together, making everyone feel cramped and crowded. Check. The bartender was clearly very experienced and friendly and she made a great Vodka Martini (very dry with a twist). Check. We started with the clam dip appetizer. It was good but could have been better. It was nothing like the clam dip that used to be very common in New England when I was growing up. I don't fault them for that, but I do fault them for having very little clam in the clam dip. Boo. Then, we both ordered the Duck. I know, boring, right? While we both like Duck, and the description of the accompanying root vegetable medley was intriguing, we couldn't help but wonder why nothing else on the menu was appealing. We *never* order the same thing (so we can try one another's dish). And, why was the seafood selection so limited -- just one item if memory serves They're in Camden, Maine--steps from the harbor. Boo. She loved everything about the dish, but I only enjoyed the Duck--I didn't care for the root vegetables. We were both too full to finish our entrees, so we left with ample leftovers. We'll go with a 'Check.' The 'Checks' outpace the 'Boos' 5 to 2. That's a 4-star rating in my book. Note: As the name implies, this is a farm (and boat) to table oriented place. The menu changes frequently.

During our recent visit up this was the decision for dinner one night and it did not disappoint. We got lucky and grabbed the parking spot right in front. Everyone at the table had two margaritas with total trying 4 different kinds and they were all sooooooo good! The monthly margarita was unique with some sweet and spice along with a lollipop that came with it too. The chips and salsa were solid with the salsa being so more unique than most salsas are in color and flavor. Food menu is small but has enough for I would assume most people who stop in. My wife enjoyed their carnitas tacos while I enjoyed the carnitas enchiladas. My brother also got their sopaipillas with honey that was a delicious end of the meal. Service was pretty solid although slow at times. My brother informed me they recently took over the current spot they have and their last spot was extremely small. While I would not call it a large space it seems to be massive compared to what they had. So hopefully they can feed more patrons in the new location! Our server was helpful and friendly. We started with the standard chips and salsa. I liked it fine, but the salsa was too spicy for my wife. The server offered some enchilada brown sauce for her instead. It was a nice thought, but my wife disliked the taste and, I must agree, when I sampled it I felt it tasted unsuitable, at least for that purpose. It was Margarita Monday and I would have liked to indulge, but I was driving so I demurred. We both ordered taco salads for our meal. Taco salad is also a Monday special, priced a dollar less than the regular dinner version. Just out of curiosity, after my wife ordered the lunch special with guacamole, I ordered the regular dinner version. Our salads looked about the same, except hers had more ground beef for whatever reason. So my experiment was inconclusive. The taco salad was pretty good, and we brought some home with us for later, so it was a good value these days at around $10 each. Ordinarily I would finish by saying we'll be going back again, but the spicy salsa is probably a deal breaker for my wife, unless we bring our own mild salsa!
