    Chicken tortilla soup

Great food, atmosphere, and service. We reserved a table for 7 people (we were with the Bake From Scratch event 7/27-7/31). Fun times, and cozy but comfortable. I had the chicken tortilla soup. It was very tasty!

Great little bistro for higher concept Mexican influenced fusion. Great cocktails. Very busy, small venue, consider reservations.

The food was okay, The prices are outrageous. $27.00 for tortilla soup which was mostly rice, no broth. $27.00 for 3 fish tacos, plus you have to pay for rice, beans, chips, salsa and hot sauce separately!

We went to Mosaic for dinner. It was 6 pm and already full. We had to wait for 1 hour and we got seat at bar. So I would recommend having reservations here in advance. Its pretty popular and for good reasons. We had 1 drink, chips and corn dip, bbq tacos with salmon and chicken enchiladas. Service was great and bar attendant made customized drink on our request. Food was great. I loved the tacos most. I wish I could have tried more and they had option of mix and match. Next time I will try fish tacos. Parking was available just outside on street. Its 2 hour parking and it was easy to find on Wednesday evening.

Amazing flavors, warm and welcoming staff. It's a must do place. This was my second visit within a year and both visits were perfect. Today, I absolutely inhaled the fish tacos. Perfect fresh fish with a mango salsa and a bit of a spice kick. Previously I had the Mexican street corn dip.. amazing. This is a small place yet lots of bar and window seating. I always try to get to a place like this at opening. No problem getting a seat. Service is quick. Love this place.

After a hike in Camden hills, this is the place to be. I had the pleasure of dining here on Sunday night after a nice walk. It was busy when we arrived, but we managed to get seats at the bar. The restaurant is cozy and full of beautiful photos on the walls. Now to the food and drinks. Everything was extraordinary! From the appetizers to the entrees, I was impressed by the flavors and colors. My girlfriend had the enchiladas and they smelled heavenly. Cheesey, warm, and delicious. This came with a side of beans and rice that was also tasty. Both reheated well the next day as well. My salmon bowl was also exciting. The textures worked together nicely and it was more than enough food for us both. If you come here hungry, I really think you should try the cheese dip too-their chips are light and airy and pair so well with the dip. I don't think there is a single dish here you would be unpleased with. If I were to come again I would try the korean bbq here. It was something the waitresses mentioned being one of their favorite dishes and it seems like a unique flavor to come out of this kitchen.

We ordered two types of sliders, one being the fried chicken and they were almost inedible. The chicken was barely fried and then buffalo sauce was slathered all over them. The burger sliders were ok but nothing memorable. As far as the service, while the bartenders were friendly when they came around, they couldn't keep up with the crowd. We waited and waited to be served and they most times did not even look at the guests at the bar to see if they needed anything. While I may try this place if I'm in the area again, I can't say it would be my first stop to hit.

Mexican Food in Maine? Absolutely!…read more We found this amazing Mexican spot right in the middle of downtown Bar Harbor, and let me tell you the location couldn't be better! Families were walking by, live music was playing across the street, and people were sitting barefoot on the grass trying to stay grounded. Meanwhile, we were being spiritually guided by the smell of Mexican food coming from Salsa Verde Grill. It pulled us in like a tractor beam! We started with the fresh guacamole, blue corn chips, and their Christmas sauce a combination of red and green sauce. Oh man Christmas came early! That sauce was so good I almost asked for it in a cup with a straw. My wife ordered the steak burrito, and it was so big she couldn't finish it. Imagine that! I ordered the enchiladas topped with a fried egg, refried beans, and rice. Oh boy, I was stuffed but somehow kept eating like I was training for the Mexican Food Olympics. Our daughter ordered the same thing as Dad, but hers was smothered in that delicious holiday sauce. She couldn't finish hers either. My wife and daughter are a couple of wimps! Or maybe I'm just a big-backed roly-poly with no quit in me. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was perfect. We absolutely recommend Salsa Verde Grill when visiting Bar Harbor. Come hungry, wear stretchy pants, and don't blame me when that Christmas sauce has you licking the plate. Bye-bye now!

You can NEVER speak to a person! THAT ALONE IS A MASSIVE RED FLAG, BUT IT GETS SO MUCH WORSE. When you are forced to WALK OUT of a restaurant with starving kids because the garbage they put on your table is completely INEDIBLE, that tells you everything you need to know. Our family travels constantly, we love great food, and we have had a fantastic time in Bar Harbor--until this total disaster. My daughter ordered a simple chicken taco and they handed her dry, rock-hard poultry crammed into a stale, salt-bomb hard shell with ZERO toppings, zero salsa, zero dressing, and ZERO EFFORT. My other daughter's quesadilla was packed with so much cheap, rubbery cheese that she LITERALLY CHOKED ON IT. And to top off that insult, they served her RANCH DRESSING and tried to claim it was sour cream! As for my enchiladas? A COMPLETELY LAUGHABLE DISGRACE TO MEXICAN CUISINE. A soggy, slimy, undercooked DISASTER. AND THEN CAME THE OWNER. This arrogant joke of a manager explicitly ADMITTED: "Yeah, those enchiladas could have gone in for longer!" YET HE STILL REFUSED TO COMP A SINGLE CENT. He didn't offer to remake the food, didn't offer a refund, and didn't even have the basic decency to offer chips and guac to-go for our hungry kids! When my husband confronted him--"You do see the way you are treating customers, right? You didn't offer me anything for this horrible experience"--this guy ACTUALLY LAUGHED IN OUR FACES AND SAID, "I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING." UNBELIEVABLE. DISGUSTING. Our family ALWAYS treats the food and beverage industry with the grace and respect it deserves. We NEVER return food, we NEVER complain, and we NEVER disrespect servers. In all our travels, we have NEVER encountered an owner who wouldn't bend over backward if a guest was unhappy. But this place? A total scam run by a smug, toxic narcissist. DO NOT WASTE A SINGLE PENNY HERE. THEY NEED NEW OWNERSHIP IMMEDIATELY!

We walked up and we're told by the host that there's a 15 min wait at 6:15PM for inside seating pur we could sit in the outdoor lounge area. We walked around the block and came back just as the host was calling to tell us there was a bar seat available. We descended the steps to what I could only describe as an underground secret garden. It was compact but did not trigger my claustrophobia. There were tables, couches and the bar. We sat at the bar right in front of the cake stand for the oft mentioned Texas Sheet Cake. I ordered the marg special which was grapefruit; my husband ordered the blood orange. Both delicious but the blood orange was a much brighter citrus flavor. We ordered the chips and salsa with a small side of guacamole. I thought the salsa was amazing but husband said it was too much cilantro for his soap gene. Dinner was chicken tinga tacos for me and duck confit tacos for him. The chicken tacos were delicious, among some of the best I've had. The tortilla was a warm, soft, extremely flavorful flour tortilla packed with chicken and topped with microgreens. I'm not a big duck fan so I didnt try my husband's tacos but he loved them. Our second round of drinks was the spicy margarita for me and the same blood orange for him. The spicy margarita did NOT disappoint. We got the last piece of the chocolate Texas Sheet Cake to go as well as an orange vanilla spice cake slice. We ate them at home and both were very good. The staff was all very friendly, funny and warm. We'll go back but definitely wasn't expecting amazing tacos in Maine.

Our server was helpful and friendly. We started with the standard chips and salsa. I liked it fine, but the salsa was too spicy for my wife. The server offered some enchilada brown sauce for her instead. It was a nice thought, but my wife disliked the taste and, I must agree, when I sampled it I felt it tasted unsuitable, at least for that purpose. It was Margarita Monday and I would have liked to indulge, but I was driving so I demurred. We both ordered taco salads for our meal. Taco salad is also a Monday special, priced a dollar less than the regular dinner version. Just out of curiosity, after my wife ordered the lunch special with guacamole, I ordered the regular dinner version. Our salads looked about the same, except hers had more ground beef for whatever reason. So my experiment was inconclusive. The taco salad was pretty good, and we brought some home with us for later, so it was a good value these days at around $10 each. Ordinarily I would finish by saying we'll be going back again, but the spicy salsa is probably a deal breaker for my wife, unless we bring our own mild salsa!
