    Chicken tortilla soup

Great food, atmosphere, and service. We reserved a table for 7 people (we were with the Bake From Scratch event 7/27-7/31). Fun times, and cozy but comfortable. I had the chicken tortilla soup. It was very tasty!

Great little bistro for higher concept Mexican influenced fusion. Great cocktails. Very busy, small venue, consider reservations.

The food was okay, The prices are outrageous. $27.00 for tortilla soup which was mostly rice, no broth. $27.00 for 3 fish tacos, plus you have to pay for rice, beans, chips, salsa and hot sauce separately!

We went to Mosaic for dinner. It was 6 pm and already full. We had to wait for 1 hour and we got seat at bar. So I would recommend having reservations here in advance. Its pretty popular and for good reasons. We had 1 drink, chips and corn dip, bbq tacos with salmon and chicken enchiladas. Service was great and bar attendant made customized drink on our request. Food was great. I loved the tacos most. I wish I could have tried more and they had option of mix and match. Next time I will try fish tacos. Parking was available just outside on street. Its 2 hour parking and it was easy to find on Wednesday evening.

Amazing flavors, warm and welcoming staff. It's a must do place. This was my second visit within a year and both visits were perfect. Today, I absolutely inhaled the fish tacos. Perfect fresh fish with a mango salsa and a bit of a spice kick. Previously I had the Mexican street corn dip.. amazing. This is a small place yet lots of bar and window seating. I always try to get to a place like this at opening. No problem getting a seat. Service is quick. Love this place.

After a hike in Camden hills, this is the place to be. I had the pleasure of dining here on Sunday night after a nice walk. It was busy when we arrived, but we managed to get seats at the bar. The restaurant is cozy and full of beautiful photos on the walls. Now to the food and drinks. Everything was extraordinary! From the appetizers to the entrees, I was impressed by the flavors and colors. My girlfriend had the enchiladas and they smelled heavenly. Cheesey, warm, and delicious. This came with a side of beans and rice that was also tasty. Both reheated well the next day as well. My salmon bowl was also exciting. The textures worked together nicely and it was more than enough food for us both. If you come here hungry, I really think you should try the cheese dip too-their chips are light and airy and pair so well with the dip. I don't think there is a single dish here you would be unpleased with. If I were to come again I would try the korean bbq here. It was something the waitresses mentioned being one of their favorite dishes and it seems like a unique flavor to come out of this kitchen.

We ordered two types of sliders, one being the fried chicken and they were almost inedible. The chicken was barely fried and then buffalo sauce was slathered all over them. The burger sliders were ok but nothing memorable. As far as the service, while the bartenders were friendly when they came around, they couldn't keep up with the crowd. We waited and waited to be served and they most times did not even look at the guests at the bar to see if they needed anything. While I may try this place if I'm in the area again, I can't say it would be my first stop to hit.

As connoisseurs of Mexican food, it's oftentimes a little dicey to try new places, but other reviews convinced us. The counter and grill are in a colorful space, letting you know that the food will be colorful, too. Not just in taste, but because of the vibrant local fresh ingredients. There are picnic tables scattered around, plus a screened area, and a big sand pit and swingset for the kiddos. My crab quesadilla was amazing, made better by the side salad, guacamole, and cabbage salad. We also has a carnitas and a carne asasa burrito, which were stuffed full of tasty ingredients. While they don't sell alcoholic drinks, you can get them at the close by store and have them with your meal, or BYOB. But their selection of non alcoholic drinks is plenty! And amazing ice cream sandwiches. Check their hours, since they might be seasonal.

Our food was presented beautifully and well cooked. The tortilla for the tacos tasted good, but was a little thick for my taste. And the black beans were well cooked but had no flavor. Mexican Food in Maine? Absolutely!…read more We found this amazing Mexican spot right in the middle of downtown Bar Harbor, and let me tell you the location couldn't be better! Families were walking by, live music was playing across the street, and people were sitting barefoot on the grass trying to stay grounded. Meanwhile, we were being spiritually guided by the smell of Mexican food coming from Salsa Verde Grill. It pulled us in like a tractor beam! We started with the fresh guacamole, blue corn chips, and their Christmas sauce a combination of red and green sauce. Oh man Christmas came early! That sauce was so good I almost asked for it in a cup with a straw. My wife ordered the steak burrito, and it was so big she couldn't finish it. Imagine that! I ordered the enchiladas topped with a fried egg, refried beans, and rice. Oh boy, I was stuffed but somehow kept eating like I was training for the Mexican Food Olympics. Our daughter ordered the same thing as Dad, but hers was smothered in that delicious holiday sauce. She couldn't finish hers either. My wife and daughter are a couple of wimps! Or maybe I'm just a big-backed roly-poly with no quit in me. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was perfect. We absolutely recommend Salsa Verde Grill when visiting Bar Harbor. Come hungry, wear stretchy pants, and don't blame me when that Christmas sauce has you licking the plate. Bye-bye now!

We walked up and we're told by the host that there's a 15 min wait at 6:15PM for inside seating pur we could sit in the outdoor lounge area. We walked around the block and came back just as the host was calling to tell us there was a bar seat available. We descended the steps to what I could only describe as an underground secret garden. It was compact but did not trigger my claustrophobia. There were tables, couches and the bar. We sat at the bar right in front of the cake stand for the oft mentioned Texas Sheet Cake. I ordered the marg special which was grapefruit; my husband ordered the blood orange. Both delicious but the blood orange was a much brighter citrus flavor. We ordered the chips and salsa with a small side of guacamole. I thought the salsa was amazing but husband said it was too much cilantro for his soap gene. Dinner was chicken tinga tacos for me and duck confit tacos for him. The chicken tacos were delicious, among some of the best I've had. The tortilla was a warm, soft, extremely flavorful flour tortilla packed with chicken and topped with microgreens. I'm not a big duck fan so I didnt try my husband's tacos but he loved them. Our second round of drinks was the spicy margarita for me and the same blood orange for him. The spicy margarita did NOT disappoint. We got the last piece of the chocolate Texas Sheet Cake to go as well as an orange vanilla spice cake slice. We ate them at home and both were very good. The staff was all very friendly, funny and warm. We'll go back but definitely wasn't expecting amazing tacos in Maine.
