Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and even though it was busy, everything moved along pretty smoothly. Our order came out fresh, and we didn't feel rushed. The atmosphere is very casual and laid-back. It's not a fancy place, but that's part of what I liked about it. It has that classic local bakery feel with people coming in excited to grab something fresh. It was busy and had a lot of energy, but it added to the experience. There's no place to sit so be ready to take the treats somewhere to enjoy. There was a line outside but they had a system so we did not have to wait too long to get our bright pink box of goodness. Malasadas are these Portuguese fried dough pastries rolled in sugar. We tried the original, cinnamon sugar, custard, and guava. Each one was delicious and best shared with family over a cup of coffee.
