My first trip here was decent and I had good things to say, but I see this place can also be rather poor. For the prices that are charged for food I'd much rather go to a better establishment. It was okay, I'm fed and full so that's good but I think this place was a one and done for me. I got the guacamole burger and it didn't come with jalapeños and had caramelized onions, which I didn't know it came with. Listen people, put away yelp, and just go to Mo's. The wife and I were stopping through, and couldn't be more pleased. We had the pretzels and cheese curds, along with the pulled pork sandwich and rib eye sandwich. The pretzels are amazing, and could easily be the meal I would order in the future, so good. The beers and drinks were excellent as well, and the price was right on. 2 beers, 2 cocktails, 2 apps, 2 entrees, only 64 bucks, killer deal. The think that really set it off, was the service. Good neighborhood pub with a wide range of good food. The Ruben sandwich, Philly cheesesteak, and fried pickles were all solid!

I actually laughed when I checked the menu because there was "signature" pizza and "signature" burgers and "signature" wings. I thought maybe it was a cheapening of "signature". I can't speak to the wings or pizza BUT the cheddar bacon burger was outstanding. Juicy without being greasy; excellent bacon held in place on the burger by the sharp cheddar and a lightly toasted bun. The bartender was running the lunch show inside - it is a Wednesday in March so not terribly busy - and she was all smiles, prompt with refills and exceedingly pleasant. The only minus was the that the onion rings were just okay. I would go with the fries next time. However, they also were not he least bit greasy. I don't know if the pizza or wings are "signature" worthy - but I will find out next time I'm in Escanaba. read more

First time trying the food at Mo's and i would 12/10 recommend! The pizza is proportioned just right, and they make their sauce/dough in house! The wings though, best I have ever had. I am usually not a big fan of eating meat off the bone, but these were no trouble at all. The meat fell off of the bone, the breading is crunchy, but not to thick, and the sauce... oh the sauce!!! Might as well try all of the sauces honestly, I don't know how someone could pick just one favorite. Food is wonderful, but more importantly, the atmosphere and staff create the best environment. Chris is a stand up guy with a passion for his restaurant, and it shows. Abby the general manager is a sweetheart, has the best personality, and you'll never catch her without a smile. Another gem! Came here with my family for our last dinner together until next year. My sister wasn't wrong when she said the pizza here is different and delicious!!!! It seriously is good! Best pizza I have had in Michigan! We are visiting the UP on vacation and were spending a beach day at the (very) near by beach. We ordered a BLT pizza with meat only on half, wings, and some chocolate cake. Typically, when I order a half meat pizza (I am vegetarian, my S/O is very carnivorous) they will only put on half meat, which is what I expected... Mo's put ALL the bacon on one side so we didn't lose any money! It was delicious, with a perfect thin crust and crispy lettuce. Chocolate cake was decadent and the wings were juicy! We couldn't of asked for a better beach meal. When we come back up to the UP, Mo's is definitely on our to-eat list! read more

Our first time here while visiting Escanaba, and the food was INCREDIBLE. I got a Chicken Caesar Wrap and it was so good. It was warm and served more like a panini but it was very good! Our table shared the Gouda bites... highly recommended. Lastly our waitress was great, very friendly and on top of drink refills. Will definitely go back. read more

Service was horrible. Waitress didn't check on us and forgot to bring dressing for my salad. We had a sick boy with us. Maybe it was the car drive or maybe it was the food. This place was hopping which I take as a good sign. Also seemed like a lot of locals which is a better sign. We had the thick crust pizza and it was AWESOME. I couldn't believe how heavy this pizza was..literally loaded. Thick cut bacon, house made crust and sauce. Delicious! Have been here quite a few times and always pleased, but need to take it to the next level to keep me coming back. At least serve chips and a pickle with the $10.00 burgers. The burger flavor is amazing and I can't duplicate it at home and the condiments are fine. The fries and rings are good also, but...................your Ketchup which is poured from a 5 gallon pale of GFS or Lame cheap ketchup that tastes like tomato soup takes away from your quality product. All I can say is bring your family. You have to visit this restaurant when in Esky. Please bring someone with you as the portions are large. More than enough to be full. But what's more important is the taste... Fuc***in GOOD food. Every person who said the food and service was good did not disappoint. The owners are modest, always asking what can be improved. They care about their food and patrons. If down state (lower Michigan) could take notice it would be great.
