Very nice down home place. Nicest staff in the world, they kept everyone's coffee filled and always with a smile. The food is pretty decent... much better than any chain breakfast place. It was worth the time to check it out!!! My family and I will be back!!

Scrapple eggs and cheese on rye and home fries.

Food was good. Service was average. Took 45 minutes to get our meal and it was cold.

We want to be seated...... Once we were seated it took awhile for sever to come over. I actually had to stop one of the serves walking around to ask if anyone was working this section. Finally the person behind the bar came over to take our order. The food is delicious. I love when real corn beef is on the menu and not just on a Reuben. The Irish grits were a new thing I didn't know I needed. The flavors gel so well together. I'll go back again to try dinner but I sure hope for a better reception.

There was live music on this evening. The mood was very chill, and relaxing. Great vibes. Hubby and I visited again for dinner on 5'7'2025 This is our special day. Hubby and I met 29 years ago today. We were seated and assisted by Tatum. Collectively, we ordered the following. Seasonal Soup: Creamy Chipotle Chicken Soup Corned Beef n' Cabbage Chicken Pot Pie Smoked Chicken Wings Cruzan & Ginger Ale Cruzan & Pineapple It was happy hour, and everything was amazing. The beverages were discounted. The food was great, and the atmosphere was cool. This evening happened to be their Wine Pairing Dinner evening. It was fun to watch the crowd of customers anticipate their 3-4 course meal w pairings. I researched afterward and saw they're just about monthly, $65 which is a steal, and it appears they sell out. Definitely worth participating. I have 50 11 food allergies so I may have to sit this one out. Another great visit down in the books!!

At first glance, it's pretty bare bones inside--but don't let that fool you. Grab a seat, because the food is where this place shines. The menu is packed with creative, unexpected options like a cinnamon toast panini, a Mongolian steak sandwich, honey Old Bay house smoked salmon, and even a "sloppy goodness" lamb burger topped with French onion soup. I went with the hamburger "Mac style," and Tom had the smoked beef brisket Philly. Honestly? One of the best burgers I've ever had--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and just done right. If you're anywhere within driving distance, go check this place out. It's one of those spots you'll be glad you found.

Despite being the only server on duty, service was quick, polite, and helpful. The menu is concise but filled with tempting, creative options, and they're open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Meals are made to order, so we enjoyed relaxing and getting caught up with one another. My sister-in-law ordered the Smoked Beef Brisket Philly and chose the German potato side salad--she specifically returned to try that side again. I had the Sloppy Goodness, a delicious moist lamb burger topped with a non-traditional French onion soup and melted Provolone on a brioche bun. My broccoli slaw side was great as well. We enjoyed everything so much that we left no leftovers behind. We had hoped to share a chocolate mousse, but it was sold out--just another reason to come back. Portions were filling for us, and my dish was pure comfort food. The Bistro also offers two private rooms for small gatherings. We went on a weekday afternoon, it's a charming spot for a relaxed, unhurried meal and conversation. A place I wouldn't be surprised to find as a local hangout.

I chose a hot carrot cake latte with oatmilk, a blueberry breadpudding muffin topped with almonds and a corned beef on house made sode bread. I enjoyed absolutely everything. The sode bread added much unique flavor; however, the sandwich crumbled as its biscuit texture absorbed some of the juices from the cheese/sauerkraut/corned beef. Definitely a mountain of mouth watering flavor. The staff are so warming and gentle all that match the environment for a complete relaxed vibe. I had a mocha latte and this Iranian Chocolate Pop-Tart thing that was awesome.... I really need to start taking pictures of my food and these places. The ambiance is that of a coffee house but this coffee house is an old historic building with natural wood floors and big windows. The layout is convenient for having a mix of seating and the volume was such that we could hear our party but not feel like we were screaming. The coffee was good. the people friendly, the snacks (ok not a meal but too much to ignore from the experience) the snacks were delightful. My wife almost ate half of my Pop-tart it was so good. Ok, this one gets a definite try, the locals seemed to like it, it was close-ish to Columbia, and worth checking out.

Look no further. Eat here…read more Having visited twice now over the past 9 months or so, I definitely have a new #1 favorite go-to restaurant in the Baltimore metro area and it is Grille 620. It's not close either. On a rainy Tuesday night in Spring 2025, there was not a seat to be had in the spacious dining room by 6:30 and this alone should say something. Again on a cold and slushy Saturday night in January, our table for 4 was available at the 6pm reserved time, despite a jam-packed restaurant and bar with a crowd waiting for tables. Definitely make a reservation here. Definitely! Despite formidable competition in the very same parking lot (Facci Italian/Pizza and Mad Chef are venerable eating establishments in their own right), Grille 620 separates itself from all known competition by applying a simple formula with bombproof expertise: 1. Completely wonderfully fresh and ingeniously prepared seafood entrees (the landlubber faire may be equally great but I do not objectively yet know this); 2. Impeccably perfect serving staff, always watching and available but never intrusive. Yes their job is to turn tables and maximize profit, but they do it so superbly that a customer does not feel like a cog in a big business machine. There is no rushing, no pushing and no upselling. Just quiet competence, raised to a sublime art form. 3. Wow the customer at the margins. Two wow factors here - one was the branzino fish special - perhaps the most wonderful fish preparation I have had anywhere ever, and I eat a LOT of seafood. Our wow factor was decaf coffee, ordered as an afterthought. Petite personal french presses arrived on our table. A generous way to serve and fun too. It was all pretty cool. I ordered the fresh hake over linguini, after the best bowl of Maryland Crab Soup I ever had anywhere. My dining partner had the red snapper with mushrooms. Others at our table ordered the seafood medley over linguini. We both loved everything we ate, and we wanted to take our Spring 2025 waitress home with us, to be our personal serving congerie at every future restaurant we might visit. Ditto for Gabe during our January 2026 meeting. They either hire them right at Grille 620, train them right, or both. In spring 2025, the bill for the two of us approached $150. Our party of 4 spent $260 in January 2026, but was worth every penny. No Grille 620 certainly is not in everyone's budget. But if expertly prepared upscale seafood is what you seek, you can only do worse than here. You cannot do better; it is not possible Just cannot. Trust me.

We were promptly greeted by friendly hostesses and sat in the dining area. There was a nearby group of guys drinking and talking very loudly, which was a bit obnoxious; take that to the bar. As the restaurant was filling up and got closer to the dinner rush, a manager did ask them to move to the bar, and they happily complied. We ordered Stuffed Portabella, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and kids' chicken strips. All were incredibly tasty. The fries that came with the meals were probably the best local fries I've had. We were all completely satisfied with our food. Our waitress was attentive, and our drinks frequently refilled. The prices were also very fair for the great quality. I would recommend this restaurant.
