I asked specifically if it was chopped fine and the bread toasted and i was told it was when i got the entree the roll was not toasted cheese was not melted, the meat was very scarce. also got the American burger, it was a decent hamburger but nothing out of the ordinary, they also had no pickles which was inconceivable to me that a American food restaurant does not have pickles. also got onion rings which were ok and French fries which were ok. all in all was not impressed and will not return. read more

Seems all the breakfast places in eldersburg are still just so so. Mo' s. did and excellent job on the beef hash and my soft scrambled eggs but the home fries were cold, old and tasteless like yesterdays . The Pecan pancakes were also very good. All in all good but could have been hotter since not so busy and the kids only 25 feet away. 2 eggs and hash, pecan pancakes and turkey bacon, 2 cups coffee where $31 plus tip. If you don't like turkey bacon don't order it, very disappointing read more

This is my Dad's favorite breakfast place in Eldersburg. We came here after a long trip and the service was a lot better (no mounds of dishes everywhere). The food was okay - decent eggs, bacon tasted like turkey bacon (not what we ordered), and the potatoes were cold. Nice to have rye toast as an option but why an up charge for it. I have been to Mo's on several occasions, both for breakfast and lunch. Solid, unpretentious diner fare at very reasonable prices. Daily specials are posted on outdoor boards. Mo, the owner, works the grill in the kitchen but often can be seen through the big open window, with a friendly hello for regulars. Picture Mel from the "Alice" TV show, brought forward into the 21st century. Good food and fast service, without fuss and without a wait. read more

MEH! very bland. nothing worse than undercooked bacon in an omelette that disguised itself as warm ham. Also ordered extra crispy home fries and they came out as warmed up boiled potatoes. Mo's is a good local place for breakfast. I can't say how their lunch is but I will modify my review once I have had lunch at Mo's. Mo's is a good restaurant that provides consistent good food and great service. The waiters are always around and follow up with more drinks, coffee, etc. The breakfast typically comes out hot and the eggs, pancakes and French toast are good. I have not had the waffle but it smells good and looks like a waffle. The home fries could use an onion in it but they are still pretty good. It is so hard to find a good, local breakfast place so please give Mo's a try. read more

Unbelievable. Okay, the owner is Kosher or Halal, but it would have been polite to note somewhere on the menu that one cannot get sausage or ham or bacon at breakfast. But then, the absence of pork on the menu does disguise the fact that the other ingredients on the menu are either aged, freezer burned leftovers or processed crap out of the fast food aisle. After working through the menu and determining that our breakfast would be limited by the owner's secret food aversions, we ordered a creamed chipped beef on toast and a beef and egg wrap. If either of these dishes ever met a cow, the cow would be surprised. The cream chipped beef was Campbell's soup with some chopped sandwich meat served with barely warmed boiled "homefries" that never saw a frying pan. The wrap had the same stale potatoes mixed with almost no eggs and a mere trace of the same packaged sandwich meat producing an inedible "stale potato burrito." The place had one redeeming feature: it was hard to get to. This made our decision to never return so much easier to achieve. A costly mistake, but the indigestion did teach me a lesson. read more

Dined this past Sunday, first time dining at Mo's. Our server was super nice and friendly. My party ordered the chicken soup (super yummy), steak sub, chocolate chip pancakes and chicken salad sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their food and finished their meals. Restaraunt and restroom was clean. I loved the small town feel in the dining room. I Enjoy supporting small local business! Reasonable charges and great food. Service isn't as fast as a chain, but reasonable and you are getting fresh food with genuine friendly service. The server made us feel special and thanked us for dining at Mo's! Thumbs up! Worst service and food we have had to date. Sat in the restaurant for over 20 minutes before anyone asked us for drink or food orders. Had to get up and remind someone we were still waiting for drinks later. Waited over and hour for food. Restaurant was not full. Food was completely cold and dry when it arrived. First time here, a few great friends have been here before. Went at lunch, just a old town cozy diner decor and feel, super friendly staff and waitress Marika (sp) sorry if i got her name wrong, she was very nice. I got the Ruben sandwich, havent had one in a while & it was awesome, perfect portion of meat, sauerkraut everything. My friend got a grilled chicken salad and my huge cinnamon roll is waiting in my fridge for my late night dessert. Will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. I absolutely love Mo's cafe! My boyfriend and I discovered this place last June, and now we keep coming back. It's a family owned business with a variety of things to chose from. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. The food is pretty decent, and Mo (who is the owner and the chef) will substitute different foods to meet my boyfriends dietary restrictions. On the week days, the cafe is pretty quiet, so it has been my company's favorite place to host work meetings. The staff is wonderful, and will allow our company to sit for hours without making us feel rushed out the door and will keep the hot coffee flowing. Affordable, friendly, and family owned- you can't go wrong here! Don't forget to go to get the creamed chipped beef. I have had both blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes. They are large and very filling. I have also had a variety of different omelettes - all delicious. read more

Stopped in for breakfast. Service was very friendly, and the waitress seemed to know many of the customers by name. Food came out quick, and was well made with real ingredients. Price was a little above average compared to the Denny's up the street, but the food made the difference worth it. I have only eaten here for breakfast but my kids say the burgers are good also. I have never been disappointed in their breakfast. Usually get the scrapple and eggs platter but I have also enjoyed the western omelette. Normally I eat at the counter and service is great. I was looking forward to some great breakfast food but unfortunately I didn't find it here. The coffee was tasty and refilled quickly but the homefries were terribly rubbery and crispy. The scrambled eggs were fluffy but when ordered with cheese, a slice of floppy, square American cheese is draped over the top. My last time at mo's. We are locals. Very few breakfast places in eldersburg. We go about once a month. Waitresses are friendly. Each time we go its for breakfast. Never really crowded but always slow. Sometimes the food is ok sometimes its cold. We always seem to wait about 30 mins to be served and the food is always slightly disappointing but we always return in hopes its different. Well this was the last visit. We waited 50 minutes for two omelettes and one bagel with cream cheese. Watched an older couple leave after waiting and hour and being served cold food. We kept waiting and finally decided to leave. We asked for a bill for the drinks and told the food was up. We went back and waited another five minutes. A cold bagel with cream cheese on it and one omelette was served. My husband took a bite of the bagel, saw it wasn't toasted or even warm. When the second omelette came we asked for a toasted bagel. 10 minutes later a very flat bagel came to us. It was sort of greasy then we noticed it was the same bitten bagel we sent back. The OWNER Mo put the already eaten bagel on the fryer to "toast it". MAJOR HEALTH VIOLATION! when i showed and asked the waitress she confirmed he did this by saying "he doesn't normally so that" omg gross! We asked for a bill and they gave us one for $26.00. The Owner heard my issue and didn't look up to say sorry or what can i do to help, disgusting place and i will be calling the county monday. Im sure if the owner cares this little for peoples health the county will find many other issues we are not aware of. For two cold dishes! I love supporting the locals but we are done here. read more

I went to Mo's cafe for the first time one morning. They were able to seat the large good quickly but not all together. It took the waiter 30-45 to get our food because another waiter took our order. When I got the French toast, hash browns, and sausages I was not pleased. The sausages looked and felt hard and tasted terrible. The French toast were small and only two pieces of bread. The hash browns were the only decent thing I had during my visit. I believe that this cafe should even get a star. The waitress did apologize but I believe the manager of the cafe should of apologized and offered some sort of discount. I will never go back to Mo's cafe. read more

The food is pretty basic, diner-type food, with no really special stand-out dishes, but very good all the same. Breakfast seems to be the best and can be ordered any time, though lunch is good too. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and informal. The servers are friendly to the point of recognizing and welcoming us even though we eat there maybe once every couple of months or so. The wait time is usually very short, though it can be a bit longer when they're busy. Prices are reasonable. Seating arrangements are fairly comfortable for parties of 4. Larger groups may be able to join tables if they happen to arrive during a slightly slower time. This has become our go-to place for those weekend breakfasts when nobody feels like cooking. read more

I would like to rate this cafe higher. It is close to home and has a nice feel to it, despite the worn cushions and table in the original section. We have been there many times for breakfast, but in the past year, the food quality has gone down. The omelets could be less dry and not browned. Worst though are the home fries, which they've been serving lukewarm and overcooked. The last time, the potatoes were mealy, and looked like fresh potatoes that had been frozen. They did take them off the bill. Just found it disappointing for a local place. I'd rather stand in line at Bob Evans down the road. read more
