This should be interesting. So, I've been meaning to visit this place for a few months now. A friend of mine visited and raved about it. Day of visit... I walked in, checked out the menu and headed up to order. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Panini no cheese. Also ordered the Fresh Brewed Tea. I must say, everyone there was really nice and polite. They speak when they walk by and/ or if they happen to make eye contact. I love that! The environment was cool. The cafe is located in a shopping center at the corner which allows for outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They have a lot of stuff there. They sell bagels, sandwiches, soup, specialty beverages, reusable cups, freshly bagged coffee, you name it! They have a couple of those signs saying that time basically isn't of the essence. Everything's made to order. That's cool, but I never thought my panini would take 30 minutes, but it's ok. ... I had plenty of text messages and games to get updated on. Let me start with the panini, it's not your average panini. It's not on the flat sourdough bread that you anticipate. It's on a small roll. It's delicious! Fresh and soft. The pesto, delicious! My chicken, it was a little tough and difficult to chew. I would say a 3rd of it I just couldn't chew. I want to return back for a Reuben sandwich but I am afraid it may be tough as well so I think I try a breakfast sandwich. Specifically that Bagel BLT. Fresh brewed tea can be a handful and a hassle to sweeten to liking but this fresh brewed tea was worth it. They have a nice condiment station where they have several types of sugar to choose from. I put a few of the raw packets of sugar in and it was perfect. The fresh brewed tea had a smooth taste and actually probably would have been good without the sugar. I just couldn't go without. Although the food didn't win me over, the customer service certainly did and I am dedicated to returning back into a find that perfect match for my tummy. I'd definitely visit again!

Cream cheese wasn't good; and barely tasted onion in the bagel. Service is always perfect . Not sure if we'll return.

They make 5 of each bagel in the morning and are out of half of their inventory by 10am every single day. It's ridiculous.

Slow service on busy days but good food. Try the Southwest Egg Bagel sandwich on toasted wheat. Barista style coffee drinks too.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back for a while, and here's why... I ordered about 15 minutes ahead. Website said it would take 20-25 minutes before it was ready. So I expected at max to wait 5-10 minutes when I got there. Instead it was a standstill at the drive thru with only two cars in front of me with one or two people in each. Let me tell you, I can usually arrive to work a half hour early on Fridays -that's including a stop at Dunkin WITHOUT ordering ahead. This place? I barely got to work on time!!! It took them an extra HALF HOUR from when I pulled up to the drive thru just to hand me ONE sandwich and ONE small latte!!! And my latte was literally just coffee, milk, and a pump of sugar!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I've worked these kinds of places before; I'm not making it up when I say I could've walked behind the counter and made it myself in half that time! I will say the staff was very friendly and apologetic, but EXTREMELY disorganized. The sandwich and coffee were good, but a little expensive and not worth the ridiculous wait time. Until management can find a better system, I will not be back here on my Friday morning commutes. Such a shame for a local spot with good food!

I chose a breakfast wrap, hot freshly made Peach danish, blueberry banana scone, hot 12oz horchata chai sweet rice and cinnamon syrup w/oatmilk. Omg. The peach danish is flaky, with a light sweet buttery taste. The horchata chai sweet rice and cinnamon syrup w/oatmilk was light and relaxing. None of the flavors over powered the other making for a smooth and delightful morning sip. This mornings picks had me wanting more but it would be against my better judgment for fitness, but worth the calorie overload. The blueberry banana scone is one of my go to pastries.

The layout is convenient for having a mix of seating and the volume was such that we could hear our party but not feel like we were screaming. The coffee was good. the people friendly, the snacks (ok not a meal but too much to ignore from the experience) the snacks were delightful. My wife almost ate half of my Pop-tart it was so good. When I returned home and opened the sandwich, the turkey bacon was completely burnt. It was entirely blackened, and it was clear the employee still chose to put it on the sandwich. Because of the condition of the food, I returned to the shop. When I explained that the sandwich should never have been served in that condition and asked how something like that could leave the shop, the employee behind the counter immediately took offense. Instead of listening, she attempted to hush me. When I asked her not to interrupt me, her behavior escalated. She became rude, told me to shut up, and her conduct became openly hostile. As a customer of color, it was clear to me that her tone, body language, and level of disrespect shifted the moment I asserted myself. The employee, who was Caucasian, interacted with me in a way that felt racially charged, which made the situation even more troubling and unacceptable. She offered to make another sandwich, but by that point her behavior had already shown a complete lack of professionalism and respect. I declined and requested a refund. She told me the owner was not present and claimed she could not issue one. I made it clear that a resolution was still required. She then contacted the owner, who instructed her to give a cash refund. After retrieving the refund, she placed the money off to the side and threw my change at me, causing the coins to fall onto the floor. This final action reflected the same hostility and racially charged attitude she had shown throughout the interaction. This experience involved unacceptable food quality, unprofessional and disrespectful conduct, and behavior that, from my perspective as a customer of color, was racially charged. Potential customers should be aware of the service issues and the treatment they may face at this location.
