Go for the lunch special and the vibes. A year or so ago they opened an outdoor bar area with a big…read morescreen TV with table-side service. It's developed a local cult following for sporting events. We watched most of the World Cup 26 games out there and enjoyed slices and beers. Maybe I'll see you there. Pro tip here is to not sleep on the salads. They are made really well, with balanced flavors and textures. It's a perfect meal to get the lunch special which comes with a salad of your choice (I recommend the Creekside salad) and a slice of pizza. The main issue is if you are a pizza snob (guilty as charged), the bakes on the pizzas are really inconsistent. They often don't use a cooling rack when the pizzas come out, so the crust instantly becomes moist from trapped steam. When the kitchen is slammed, the pizzas are flop city, and sometimes a soupy mess. If they set up quality measures to get a nice crisp crust, they could keep up with their cross-town rivals in the plaza. For now they trail on pizza quality due to inconsistency. Because of all this, I think of Creekside as more of a bar than a specialty pizza place. I enjoy it for what it is, which is pretty darn good.

I've been to Wild River a handful of times over the last few years. Loved the pizza, onion rings…read moreand Caesar salads. But today, I wasn't very hungry and ordered the shrimp appetizer. I was told there would be five prawns in a butter sauce. However, what came were eight tiny shrimp -- maybe 1.5 inches each. The butter sauce, which also had lots of chopped tomatoes, pretty much covered the shrimp and then some. This makes sense because besides not being prawns, the shrimp was rubbery and tasteless. I don't understand why I wasn't told that there were no prawns today, to see if I wanted to order something else instead. In retrospect, I should have returned the dish but our server (Beau) was so nice that I just didn't have the heart to do so. I decided to get a to-go container, thinking, I dunno, maybe the butter sauce would season the shrimp and it would taste better in a few hours. I ended up leaving the shrimp behind instead. So, great service, very clean and nice folks. Just stick to pizza, folks. And don't order the shrimp appetizer.

our experience tonight 8/16 was honestly awful. after we were seated, it took quite a while for our…read moreserver to even come over to the table. when she finally did, we were only able to order our drinks and appetizers, despite already having been seated for a significant amount of time. once we were finally able to order our entrees, the wait was unbelievably long. we were there for almost two hours total, and approximately an hour and 45 minutes of that was spent waiting for our food. we also had two small children with us, and one of them became extremely antsy and cranky because he was so hungry. when you have small children at the table, that should be taken into consideration, especially when the wait for food is already excessively long. what made the experience even more frustrating was that no manager ever came by to check on us or address the situation. someone did come nearby and identify herself as a manager, but she only stopped at the other two tables nearby and never came to our table. overall, the service was extremely slow, communication was lacking, and nobody seemed to care that we had been waiting so long. unfortunately, this was such a poor experience that we will not be returning.

**Kiva Made a Bucket-List Dinner Extra Special!**…read more We visited The Old Spaghetti Factory in Medford on July 27, and while we have always had great food and service here, Kiva turned this visit into something truly fantastic and memorable! Stopping at OSF was actually a bucket-list item for my oldest daughter during her summer vacation, so this dinner was already something she had been looking forward to. Kiva didn't know our goal for the afternoon, she was just doing what came natural, making it surely live up to the excitement! She was incredibly friendly, personable, wonderful with our girls, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone at our table got exactly what they wanted. We asked for a few extras along the way, and she never batted an eye--she was heartwarmingly kind, accommodating, and happy to help. And the food was AMAZING, as always! Our table gobbled up shrimp with fettuccine, ravioli with meat sauce, chicken piccata, angel hair pasta with browned butter and mizithra, and a large side of broccoli. Of course, we had to finish with dessert--vanilla ice cream, spumoni, and POG sherbet, one of each! Everything was delicious, but Kiva is what took our typically great OSF experience and made it a special memory from our trip. She helped make our girls happy, made us feel completely welcome, and added that extra bit of warmth that you remember long after dinner is over. We're travelers when we come through Medford, but we make a point to stop at The Old Spaghetti Factory--and after this visit, we'll certainly continue to do so. If you're traveling through the area, I absolutely encourage you to make it a stop. And if you're lucky enough to have Kiva taking care of your table, you're in wonderful hands! Thank you, Kiva, for helping make one of our daughter's summer bucket-list wishes such a great memory!
