Came here on a whim while in town for business. I called ahead and they told me to get there as soon as possible - and once I arrived they were prepared for me immediately! My nails were a mess and the gentleman I had took the time to build them back up with acrylic to make my simple gel manicure a significantly better than I expected. He could tell I work with my hands and put on a few extra coats to make my nails withstand all I put them through! Amazing quality and attention to detail at an exceptional price! Waste of time! I don't understand Why they overbook themselves. I had an appointment at 1. When I called they said it would take about 45 minutes for the pedicure, well it will take 2 hours by the time they get to you. When I walked in promptly at 1 she said it would be about 10 minutes. 15 minutes later they had me sit in a chair, another 15 minutes later I was still waiting. I'm on my lunch break and am quickly realizing I won't have time to get the actual pedicure. I left at 1:30 with no pedicure and had to eat my lunch at my desk! I was so disappointed and upset. Some people actually respect appointment times and understand that people have other things they have to get back to. They can't spend all day waiting in a nail salon for someone to finally help them! read more

Morrow Nails is far from five stars and I didn't give them a one star because at least the job got done....barely. I had an appointment for pedicures for three people and the third person was only just getting his pedicure started as mine was finishing. An appointment is an appointment for a reason. They are definitely not courteous towards your schedule. The entire place could use a good once (or twice) over with a bucket of bleach water and a good scout brush. Everything is just dingy looking, and the carpet is stained and filthy. I could not see one part of the pedicure procedure that was actually sanitary. They put a liner in the pedicure tub before they put the water in, but then let that water out in the tub. I couldn't understand it. Their nail clippers weren't sharp so the clip was repetitive. The tools were not out of a sanitary bag or anything and the pumice looked to be reused. After my foot and leg massage, there was a warm towel to clean off all the oil and lotion, but the towel was not a clean, white color. It was more of a dirty white color, and it, too, needed a round of bleach. I am super disappointed in Morro Nails and only reserve five stars for the best of the best. Even if they'd been a four star, that would have been great. Between the yuck and the gross I wouldn't recommend this place. Wait until you get home from your vacation to fix your pedi. read more

Wow! Wow! And wow!!!!! I'm the kind of girl that typically does her own pedicure at home but after a long day a work, I felt the need to be pampered. I called and was asked to show up at 6:30. So, the fact that they are open late is a big plus! The place was jam packed! Staff was so friendly. I have to be honest and tell you that I am so self conscious about my feet. Like really self conscious. I don't have pretty feet. I have real women feet. I'm on them all day at work and play in the sand the rest of the time. So they were pretty beat up when I got there. I was seated in a spa pedi station. Whirled in warm water for about 10min before my pedi angel came over and assisted me. She was so kind and friendly. I wish I would have gotten her name to give her full credit. She made me feel so comfortable. She gives the best foot massage! Tenderizing my legs like a piece of meat! She has some mad skills! She took her time and really helped me unwind and relax. Now on to the nail cleaning/trimming. She was so meticulous yet careful. She did an awesome job cleaning up my toes. What I also liked about her is that she didn't have me run up to the polish racks to pick a color. Rather after working my feet, she asked what color would I like. I replied red or purple. She quickly whisked away to the racks and came back with what she felt were the best picks. I opted with her choice which was a beautiful purple/opalescent hue from Essie. After polishing, she asked how I liked my experience. Like, who does that in a nail salon??? Like actually ask you how was your experience. I was totally impressed. She was focused and rocked it! Ambience: not to lit, lighting was perfect, music was so relaxing I actually think I dozed off at least 3 times. Between the music and the foot massage... I was in heaven! Some ethnic talking but it didn't bother me much. It was very minimal. Again, I was impressed. All in all spa pedi came out to $23. I tipped her $10 wish I could have tipped her more! So this is the 3rd and finally 'i'll try again' that I have for this nail salon. I have been coming here for 5/6 years now and until recently have been really happy with their service. Now however things are not the same. This is the 3rd time I have come to get a full gel set and my nails have chipped within the first week of having them done. This is the best place for a manicure or pedicure or both. The first impression you will get is cleanliness. They even use a disposable plastic line in the tub. You are very safe from any infection! Secondly you will notice the attention to detail and precision. I usually ask for Liz which is an American-ization of her actual name. She is gracious and does beautiful work. Went in yesterday afternoon for a pedicure and was told that they were too busy, so booked an appointment with one of the girls for noon today. Thought a birthday treat sounded good. Got there 5 minutes before and all the chairs were filled. They had just seated a couple and their 6 year old granddaughter. No one greeted me nor said anything about a wait. Thai is fantastic! I showed him a picture of the shape I wanted (short, slightly tapered squoval) he did a perfect job. I have very peaked nailbeds on my thumbs, and many nail artists will make the nails too thick, but he did a great job of thinning out the ends, while keeping a strong apex. They look great! He asked how I liked it as he went, which I appreciate. However, he didn't chit chat, which I also appreciate--I hate forced conversation. I went in early on a Tuesday, so it was very quiet. Lots of ventilation, nice quiet background music, very relaxing. I will definitely be back. read more

I read the reviews here and decided that it had two things I wanted: nice staff and good massage chairs. If you are doing a walk-in, I expect a wait or to be told to come back, which happened. And we waited about 15-20 minutes, and lordy, I didn't mind one bit because I made use of every inch of that massage chair. The pedicure was efficient, clean, and simple. Lovely little foot rub involved as well, and I would have been probably in and out in 20-25 minutes had I not had the first little wait and waiting for my companion to get finished. This is awesome. I didn't want to spend an hour getting my feetsies trimmed. But again, the chairs. I didn't want or expect anything fancy, and I'm so happy I'll be back again - and I really, really don't like getting pedicures and had been putting it off. read more

I have gotten my nails done here many times before. I just recently got my nails done getting a set of acrylics and probably never going here again. The man who did my nails burned/hurt me with the nail drill multiple times. There are parts of my nails that didn't even get fully painted. I was looking around at others getting their nails and toes done. And they don't even bother to change the nail files, buffers, and the drill tips. Like I have seen at other places online. It's not sanitary at all there was a lady who got her nails done after me and the guy didn't bother to wipe the station at all. They don't wear gloves either also don't wipe/clean or even get a new set of tools. but they do check your temperature. read more
