I went here to have my acrylic nails removed. She drilled all of the nails off in their entirety. No soaking or anything; just drill. In the process of drilling them she drilled my natural nails as well. Parts of my nails are nearly drilled to the skin and are see-through. Several are splitting lengthwise and are painful. Came in here on a Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend. There was ONE client present. We asked for two pedicures. The person who greeted us told us they were really busy and we would have to come back after 5pm. Again, there was only ONE person getting her nails done, and all of the pedicure chairs were empty. If they were short staffed, I would have been fine being told that, but telling us they were too busy to give us pedicures was bizarre. Well the other negative reviews are so true. The gal that did my nails shredded the side skin of almost every toe. Also they were cut extremely short and the gel was not painted well. 100% not worth the $50 I paid. I came home and smeared every toe with Neosporin in hopes to avoid any infection since they burn! The kids mani/pedi for $38 was fine and they didn't shred her apart. The new location is super cute and you can see black hill from the window. I likely would not recommend this place. I also don't think the tools are autoclaved but rather soaked in solution which I am not keen on. read more

If I could give it a zero, I would. It's the worst pedicure of my entire life. It lasted approximately 8 minuets. And he cut my cuticle, and rubbed my foot with the buffer that it cut the bottom of my foot. They didn't fully cure the gel. And the man doing my pedicure didn't take his eyes off of his phone the entire 8 minuets. After 8 minuets of mediocrity, it costs over $100??? This was terrible. read more

I've been here multiple times since the new owners took over. They are kind, focus on the details, and do a great job with both kids and adults! I typically get gel mani and a normal pedicure. It's a mellow and relaxing atmosphere and never too busy. They can usually get me in without much notice. Highly recommended! read more

I have to say that since I've been back I haven't been as happy with the work or the service. The massage was skipped once and the time after that I think she spent two minutes total. It's a huge part of why I like to go and pamper myself so I honestly might look for somewhere that spends a bit more time. I have had my nails done in Dec. 2022, Jan. & Feb. 2023. Acrylics & 1 time with gel . Being a retired manicurist I know how your nails should look when they are done properly. Ist. time I was not able to go back & have the owner fix them so I did it myself. 2nd time the wife did them & I went back a few days later to explain & show her the problems & said I wanted them Re done, that I was not happy at all with the them. Ok Ok she said & booked me a 3rd appt. I know she understood what I was saying & showing her. 3rd time the owner is doing them again & before his wife polished them she say " you pay now" I was dumbfounded & being an idiot I payed her. !! I have now paid a total of $145.00 Yes shame on me !! I should not have paid for the last set! Regardless.. the work that is being done for Acrylics with or w/o gels is not that of a professional manicurist who's also the owner! Also questionable is their sanitation or lack of! An acceptable, workmanlike pedicure. It was nice to be able to walk in on a Saturday afternoon. Massage was a little on the brief side, water in tub was a little chilly, but the results looked fine. Atmosphere is likewise very chilly. Salon is clean and silent. Do not expect a greeting, a smile, or a farewell. And certainly no eye contact. After I came in not only did he do them WAY to short after i asked to measure from the pointer not the pinky.... but proceeded to tell me they are longer than normal and normally would be more than $38. I would NOT mind paying more for what I want but I feel he thought I wouldn't pay more than $38? Sorry to say I had the worst salon experience of my life here. I'm used to visiting inexpensive nail salons and was happy to see one open in Los Osos. I have been three times and the last was so bad I will not be back. -Made an appointment two days in advance for a mani/pedi. The two attendants started on my hand/feet but when a walk-in came in my manicurist left to see the new customer. I was told everything would take 45 minutes, ended up 1 hour 25 minutes! -When my feet were done soaking the attendant threw my leather sandals in the dirty foot bath because he thought they looked dirty! It took TWO days for my sandals to dry and the bottoms of my feet were stained black from the wet leather of my shoes even after I went home and scrubbed again. -The foot "massage" was so painful I started tearing and almost had to ask the attendant to stop. -Neither of the employees spoke English. We found this great nail place on the fly on a Sunday morning. Everyone else was closed after stopping by 3 other places that said they were open on yelp however not one open. Very frustrating to say the least but we are so glad we found C Nails in Los Osos. We walked in, picked the color and style of nails to be done and in 45 minutes we are beautiful and in the car on our way. The lady was so precise who did the nails and we were so happy with the work.
