I prefer leaving positive reviews for businesses but wanted to give my fellow Ladies a heads up before deciding to try this place. I was in town for a getaway with my Husband and wanted a relaxing pedicure. Instead I got a painful, frustrating very unpleasant experience. Three Men working, one, Mike I think, is the owner? Very nice but he was doing a manicure. The gentleman I was given to do my pedicure must have been new or just really terrible. He proceeded to quite literally, cut my big toe nail so short it immediately began to bleed. When I pulled back...HE STARTED LAUGHING. Then tried to scrub it with his brush. Cut the nail sideways and unfixable. The owner came over and apologized, said something to him and proceeded to tell me it would grow back he did the best he could to fix my previous pedicure, charged me $42 and we called it a day. TERRIBLE PLACE, do NOT recommend! read more

Took my mom here for her birthday. She realized after the job was finished that she didn't get gel and was slightly disappointed because they always seem to get messed up. Sure enough, later that night she realized that she had messed up her big toe on her birthday nails. Safe to say she was pretty upset. Luckily, I called Mike and he told her to stop back by. Not only did he fix it for free. He put a gel topcoat on all of her nails, so they will last for the next month! Really fantastic service she was very appreciative! She mentioned they are always extremely light on the nails and if you tell them you are having an issue or sensitivity, they will address it rather than ignore it. They are great! read more

Okay so I've always gotten gel pedis forever. The prices at other places have just been crazy so I decided to try this place. Yes you walk in and it's not as fancy as others but the men they have working in there are talented and actually take time on your feet. He gave me such a long foot massage it was exactly what I needed. He even recommended I bring my husband in so he can clean up his toe and get a nice foot massage. Definitely going to go again. It appears the negative reviews refer to nail technicians who are no longer employed by Mike. I can't say enough good things about Mike at Top Nails. Due to genetics, I have thin, weak, bendy nails that never have survived past my fingertips. Since I have been going to Mike for nail dips, I have beautiful, strong nails for the first time in my life. And I'm dinosaur old. He is very meticulous and takes the time to make them look perfect. After what started as a rough start I was very impressed by the owner's brother stepping in to do my gel manicure. The young gal who started my nails was very rude about my request to not use a grinder to remove my previous gel color. Even laughed in my face. Very unprofessional. I was about to leave when the gentleman stepped in to take over. He insisted that he'd take care of me and my service. He turned the whole experience around! He was wonderful. Mind you there was no one else in the salon so there was no inconvenience of time to do the job right. Unprofessional employees make or break a business. Hopefully that individual will no longer work there anymore to ruin a family owned business! Thank you for making my birthday better by stepping up to the occasion. I've been here twice. First time, the guy did my mani pedi. It was OK. Seemed reasonable, was a happy guy, English was pretty good. I recently took my granddaughter for only a mani. I had a girl. She did not remove all of my previous powder nails! She tried to get it as thin as possible, but did not remove all of it. Not cool. Nails are ok. I got gel and they are peeling after 3 days! My granddaughter had the guy. Worked with her and she's happy with her nails. The problem? We made an appointment for 200. Arrived 5 minutes early. They were finishing up and we started right around 2. GREAT!! Then at 3, his other appointment arrived. He STOPPED working on my granddaughter, took the other gal! We waited 25 minutes for the customer to have polish removed and new placed on! Whaaaaaaat? You could not FINISH us???! That is just wrong! I did not say anything because I did not want the other customer be upset. This is NOT cool! They made it very obvious they were talking about my granddaughter too. I will not return. Can someone please open a nail salon with better etiquette? The salons in MB are ALL rude!!! read more

My sister and I went here and it took us a total of 5 hours for two sets of basic acrylic nails, we had an appointment at 2 but didn't get started till 3:20, there also is only one person doing nails all day. The nail lady made the nails way too thick and didn't even bother to make the paint not see through, payed $65 for nails that look worse than $7 press ons. His coworker finished the pedicure he was doing and then started cleaning the store while we all sat there waiting for this one man to do our manicures.
