In a last-minute decision, my wife wanted a mani-pedi. We stopped by a place we'd visited before, but they were closed for remodeling. So, we jumped on Yelp to find a highly rated spot nearby. That's how we ended up here. It was rated 4 stars, so we figured, why not check it out? When we walked in, it felt like stepping back in time. The furniture was dated, and they even had slipcovers on everything. No frills, no thrills, no bells, or whistles. The staff was just okay. I stayed positive and thought, "Alright, let's give them a try." My wife got a mani-pedi, and I got a pedi. The work was just okay, but my wife did get a nip during her manicure. On top of that, they didn't use liners in the soaking tubs, and they didn't even offer us water. Overall, it felt like a low-quality establishment. Safe to say, we won't be making a second visit. read more

Fast, easy and nice people. Only flaw is they will charge you for tip without knowing and change the pricing!

I caught them right when they were closing- but they still assisted me and kindly did my nails! Mai gave good advice on the nail color and did an awesome job with the star detail on my ring finger and was really gentle. Honestly a good experience! read more

DAMAGED MY NAILS! I usually don't get my nails done, but I was wanting to do something fun with my two teenage girls. I thought this would be a basic nail appointment. File a little and add on some polish. Nope. She filed my nails down so severely that now all my nails have peeled and are broken. All my nails (which were very, very long and healthy) are now down to the quick. I paid them hundreds for me and my kids. Every time my nails start to grow out they break in half. This business is sick, and should no longer operate. (I am using layers of super glue instead of polish now. Until my thicker nails grow in, I can't do anything with my hands.) read more

Queen 4 Nails & Spa - Very displeased that my nails are taking forever to grow out after she filed them so paper thin. Got to be careful because they break easily - Nail Salons Near Me - Paso Robles, California

Last minute stop! And don't regret it at all! I told my husband i wanted my nail done and we made a random stop to this salon! I didnt get the guys name who seated me. He started working on my nails and at first i started getting worried. I seen a few clumpy nails ... then Mai finished up her client and took over. I couldn't have been happier. She did such an amazing job and very attentive and detailed. She took her time, fixed my nails even though i hadn't said anything yet but I am sure she seen what needed to get fixed. She made conversation with me and actually seemed interested! I dont think I've ever had a pleasant nail salon visit like this! She was so sweet and helpful i would definitely go back! read more

Went for a pedicure which went well. Prices have gone up since COVID so I will be looking for another nail shop in the future.

I do not recommend. Went with a friend and she was injured. I don't think manicurists should be cutting or injuring you.

The salon was incredibly hot, to the point I was sweating profusely and hot. I asked for some water. I was told that would happen, but eventually I had to get up and go to the bathroom after needing more air before a tiny cup of water was ever produced. While feeling faint, my cuticles were cut to the point that they bled. That was the last straw, and I said that I needed to leave and would just pay for the cut and buff as they had not gotten far into my mani pedi. I was charged full price for less than half of the mani-pedi. read more

This place fit 4 of us in for pedicures on mother's day. My pedicure was relaxing and quick, my toes look great and my feet are nice and soft :) I would return and recommend this place. read more

So rude!!! Worst pedi I ever had in my life!! Pedicures are supposed to be relaxing not painful Don't come here save your money!!

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE! Came here 1st time, saw Bhin for a gel manicure. She was friendly and a pro at what she was doing. The 2nd time I came in for a gel manicure I saw Mai. She was quiet, but pleasant enough, to begin. She was getting frustrated with me not anticipating her next finger/movement. I apologized, she said "no worries " I began to notice that she was being very aggressive with the clippers. She clipped the corners of my nail beds so deep that my finger tips burned and scabbed over. So, the next and LAST time I was in there I saw Bhin again. She again was nice, professional. Then when trimming my cuticles under my nails she was going way to short. I told her she was going a little short, was hurting me. She backed off, but I now have 2 fingers where the cuticle is cut so far back that the nail bed is barely attached to the cuticle. They hurt badly, and I am using liquid crack repair. Never again! read more

My fíance & I were treated poorly today because we wanted the same color of nail polish. We would not recommend this salon. It was cold inside and the workers were rude. read more

This place is kind of tucked away in a shopping center that doesn't seem too busy, but they do an excellent job here. I've been to a couple other places in the area and Queen 4 is where I come back to. All the technicians do a thorough job and my toes always look great. I've never felt rushed like at some places. read more

I was desperate to get my nails done before the mothers day weekend and of course I waited until the last minute to schedule something at my regular nail place. Due to the yelp review I decided to give this place a shot and was happy they stayed open late and were able to fit me in. Upon arrival I was greeted quickly and the pedicure station was prepared. I was told to pick a color which a common practice, but unlike my regular nail place, they did not walk me (or talk to me) towards my chair- just pointed. My personal preference is to avoid the drill whenever possible and here it seems that everyone uses it eve for pedicures... not sure if it is to speed things up or what. I am curious how the drill head (thingy) is disinfected between clients or if at all. The man that did my pedi was quiet but kind and you can tell he was a pro at his job. I wish the soak and the massage would have been longer, but I did opt for the Basic Spa Pedicure $28. They do not have a mani pedi combo that includes Gel ( they were clear to lmk). Pedi 28 and mani gel $32 so a total of $60 before tip. I think that is an average price, but the shop, spa chairs and decor was not as nice as the place I normally visit. I will update this post about how long they last and if there is any lifting. read more

My best friend and I came in today and they took such wonderful care of us. Such sweet people. Cant wait to go back and see Mai and her lovely team!! read more

Extremely nice people but quality will go down if people start calling/showing up. Showed up with 3 other people for mani/pedi x 3 and 1 mani. There was 1 other person there that was finishing up and they said they could accommodate us. It was fine at first till the phone calls started rolling in and they started to tell people to come in. I feel like they should've quoted 30mins more of a wait time than they did, better to not be rushed and do a better, more consistent job...but I guess that just benefits me? Haha Neither the nails on my toes or hands were shaped evenly. The process was also all wonky. My friend's mom got lotion, a warm towel and then her toes were painted. My friend and I got our toes painted and then the lotion + warm towel o.O;; It's sweet that the guy helps but the girl should really go over the process with him. No cuticle softener was applied to my hands before he started hacking away at my cuticles @_@ That did not look or feel pretty at.all. I do believe that they're better at gel manis than regular manis. ps...they give you tea at the beginning! read more

I was getting my nails done in Atascadero but wanted to find a place closer to home. Queen for Nails was amazing. The salon is clean and the staff super friendly and always in a good mood. They do excellent pedicures and gel manicures. They have a great selection of colors and are fairly priced. Currently they are all wearing masks and have partitions on both nail tables and foot tubs. I have all technicians work on my nails and they are all good. While they do take walk ins it is best to have an appointment. I am so happy I found this salon. I've been there 3 times so far and will continue going back. read more

I like my pedicures and manicure, but the lady cut me twice on my toes and once on my nails while trimming my cuticles. Three days later I just want it to heal and it still hurts. It's distracting from the nice nails I got from them and such a bummer. An apology would have been nice but when she cut me, she quickly slapped on that green liquid to keep it from bleeding and kept going. Also, my nails really burned when they went in that light box for my gel set. Not sure if that's normal, but it was bothersome. I had a great regular manicure from Mai one time, but this last visit took a turn. I'm super bummed. read more

5 stars! Great experience at this nail salon. Had a girls trip up in Paso and spontaneously decided to get our nails done. We called in the morning and they were able to fit all 4 of us in, 3 for gel manicures and one for a fill. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. I had Binh do my gel manicure, and she went above and beyond to ensure the super light pink color I picked would be perfect when I walked out the door. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely be coming back here! read more

I called to make an appointment and they had availability. That wasn't the issue. The pedicure was ok, just the service was horrible. He was rushing as if he was booked solid. I asked him if he was busy today and he said no. It took less than 30 mins and I was hurried out. Needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

I love this salon ~ so detailed ~ love how they take good care of me ~ found my Paso Robles place

Research reviews for manicures in Paso and this place had good ones. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon around 2:30 and there was one other person, so I got take right away. It seemed the elder did my nails, she was slow, efficient and took the time to do it right. Never had to get up to wash my hands after the prep work was completed, she used a wet washcloth. Overall I am happy with the manicure. They do not have a "drying" station to dry your nails - you sit at the table and a small fan does the drying. It lasted a week before it started to crackle. I would go back. read more

Great spot. After going to a few places around Paso Robles I think I found my favorite place spot to go! Service is always great here, the ladies really take their time to do your pedicures, prices are very affordable for the area and I love how they do my acrylics every time! Best set I've gotten every time I go (need to remember to ask the nail tech her name) but she's awesome! Def recommend read more

I personally did not like it, My nails came out nice but this review is more for the experience I received. I did not see them open a brand new tools to do my manicure so not sure if it was used and it made me feel uncomfortable. I went in and told them I just wanted my nails paint nothing else no gel or anything and they kept trying to persuade me to get gel which I did not like. Then before she started she told me to pay before she painted my nails, no one else who was in (and were obviously regulars) were asked to pay upfront. Then I told her I wanted flowers on my nails and she said it was going to be $5 extra and I had to pay right now again before she added flowers. She picked out the flower she wanted to do which was the most basic one they have, I told her no and I picked out the flower I wanted and she told me no that it wouldn't look nice, I told her that's ok, it's the one I want and she continued to say no and say the one she picked is better. I gave up with her and just let her do the one she picked since it seemed like that might have been the only one she knows how to do. I told her I wanted two flowers on each hand and she told me no, just one. Extremely unpleased read more

i have been coming here for years to get my eyebrows waxed and each time you don't know if they are gonna be nice or rude. after today though i have had it with there negative energy. the main lady made me very uncomfortable because i wasn't able to make it to an appointment i loosely scheduled a hour and 45 minutes before. i tried to reschedule when she called but she refused to reschedule me for the next day because she thought it was not okay for me to miss my appointment and told me we shouldn't do appointments anymore but when i walk in they are rude about not being available. there are places out there that will treat you with the respect you deserve and have great customer service. read more

I'm new to the area, like brand new. The last place I went to get my nails done was in Redwood City, CA at my favorite place to get my nails done, hands down, never went to any where else in Redwood City besides Marvelous Nails. Obviously, I'm not in Redwood City anymore, there for I had to find somewhere closer to my new home. I walk in and there isn't any other customer in there besides me. I didn't really think anything of it. The lady sits me down after I tell her I want a "fill" My natural nails are long but I've been putting powder on them to make them "strong" for the time being. My nails grow super fast and people are always shocked about how long they are. (I'm sure they aren't super strong without the powder, but that's besides the point) I am VERYYYY particular about how my nails are done. I like them done a certain way and I get in a super perfectionist mode if they aren't done the way I want. My nails have been shaped almond/pointy at the end.. but more of an almond point if that makes sense. -_- She starts my nails, takes her time (which is great and makes my impressed immediately) She used multiple tools to bring my nails to perfection. My nails were super long to the point where I could hardly type on my laptop anymore, so she said "cut down?" and I said sure. She noticed the shape of my nails and began to file them accordingly. Another bonus that I didn't have to explain what to do with my nails. The whole process was lengthy, but I'm glad she took her time to do my nails. Right as I was done, or close to being done, 3 more people walked in. She still took her time, even with the painting of my nails. Another thing that impressed me was immediately if she got polish on my fingers, she grabbed a brush, acetone and wiped it away and checked every other finger just to be on the safe side. Bonus Jonas number 3. I'm used to paying what I paid for my nails which to me wasn't bad at all. Decently priced and I will return. :) read more
