My feet always remain uber smooth following other pedicures from competitors- within 2 days my feet were rougher than when I went in.... I also experienced the skin on my feet feeling like they were on (fire). That is new and honestly concerning. Chemical? Fungal? Treated for both and got it to stop. For what I paid I expected better. This will be the only nail salon I will go to now. I've had a pedicure from Naomi, a full set of gel-x from David and gel-x fill from Shawn. They all did a phenomenal job! The place is clean and welcoming, the staff are really nice and helpful. My pedicure was so relaxing! David did a fantastic job with my full set of gel-x. My nails had grown out a bit and I snagged my ring finger while moving furniture, the nail stayed on but I bruised my nail bed. I didn't want to chance having it happen again. Shawn was kind enough to squeeze me in without an appointment to do a fill and color change. He was so gently and took extra care not to hurt my bruised nail. I probably thanked him a dozen times. I had a really great experience today at nail envy. I had no idea that they were under new ownership. But the vibe was the same - very quiet, not more than two or three clients in the salon in order to provide private and personalized services. The owner got me in on late notice within one hour, and I had a fantastic pedicure. Great selection of colors. Although they're under new ownership, the family that previously owned the place are employed there, at least a few of them. Still highly recommend and thought I'd write this great review in case anyone else is wondering how it's doing under new ownership. Salon was very very clean, pillows on all of the chairs, all of the tools were sanitized, and the highest level pedicure, which was amazing was only $60. They have an ATM available, but they also take Apple Pay now, so you don't have to worry about withdrawing cash. read more

Haven't had a mani pedi in years, yes, years. So for Mother's Day I told my husband that's what I wanted. I came here for the first time (set an appt earlier in the week) but to no surprise, Mother's Day was busy for them. I waited about 30 min past my appt time then got seated to have Linh start on my pedi. I got the Yin-Yang mani and pedi with gel on both. Absolutely loved the service itself and will 100% get it again! Only complaint is - my gel mani was done very sloppy. It's not even, some spots weren't touched on a few nails (you can see where the polish color was applied and then separately where the top coat was applied - not the same areas). Kind of disappointing bc my toes look great (the older gentleman did my manicure, not Linh). The Yin-Yang service itself was fantastic for both, just unfortunate about the application of the gel polish on my hands. Overall, will 100% be coming back any time I want to treat myself but will be asking for Linh specifically to do my services. read more

Like stated in other reviews if you have an appointment with the owners husband for any service cancel your appointment. I have tried this place 3 times. I went because I kept seeing really nice work and also a lot of recommendations. I don't know who does the nice work but the older gentleman is not happy or interested in doing your service. 1st time I for a pedicure and my nail polish chipped with in the 10 days 2nd time I went for pedicure and gel manicure and this time manicure fell completely off in 8 days This last time I asked for pedicure and a set of nails and this is what I walked out with. read more

I got regular polish manicure (not gel) , sat under the fan for 20 minutes and figured that was good enough time to dry them. I was wrong. 2 hours later and I'm still dealing with wet nails. I called the salon back and was informed it takes " all day" for the regular polish to dry and to sit under a fan at home even though it's been over 2 hours since leaving. I was pretty sad as now I had to take off the polish since every nail has been messed up. So if you get regular polish beware of the dry time. The salon was welcoming and wait time was little to none on a Sunday. Staff were friendly. read more

I was shook at the results, such a GREAT!! job by a young man gentle and kind. His attention to detail was impeccable, The massage was a nice touch and the warm towels helped relax my muscles. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this salon. An older man did my gel manicure and it was a horrible experience. I had gel on when I came into the salon that needed to be removed and he was very aggressive with the electronic nail file. I asked him to turn the strength down because it was painful. He responded "you shouldn't get gel if your nails are so sensitive." I should have left at that point (even with my nails looking awful) or asked for a different manicurist, but I was shocked. I have gotten gel manicures for several years and never had this problem with an electronic nail file before. Several other things went very wrong and the final product was messy borders and mismatching nails in slightly different colors of red. What a disaster! On a positive note, the woman who did my pedicure was very attentive and did an excellent job. However, my experience with the gel manicure was just so awful I can't in all honesty give more than one star and recommend choosing somewhere else to go for your nail care!! read more

Very obvious the young man with a ponytail working here is very resentful & angry to be working here ...and he makes sure to let you...the Customer, know it! Had a really unpleasant experience here today. I just moved here & was looking for a salon I could start going to regularly. Because of work & family obligations I had not been able to take care of myself in over a year. So I was really looking forward to a little pampering. When I arrived I was directed to a Chair where the elderly man was setting up the water. The young man with a pony tail then came & I realized he was going to do the work. Right away, I told him I have issues with my big toe nails curving down & into my toes on both sides. I asked him if he could please take care of those & cut that nail area down/out. He said sure. I watched him start doing it -but then was surprised becs as quickly as he started- he stopped doing it & moved on to rest of pedicure. He spent maybe a grand total of 1 minute doing both toe nail sides AND clipping (shortening) all my toenails. When I told him the toenail side cutting was not sufficient, becs I could still feel the nails digging into sides of my toes, I also told him I liked my toenails shorter. Immediately he was very obviously annoyed that I dared tell him anything. Then he informed me he would not cut my nails shorter as a "Nail Tech" and that I could do them myself if I wanted shorter toe nails . Now...No pedicurist has ever told me that what I like is "too short"... let alone rudely tell me to go do them myself. What I was asking for (length wise) you see in every professional photo of women's feet w a great pedicure in sandals etc. (Btw- He DID end up quietly shortening them when he thought I wasn't paying attention-Despite what he said!) Then he moved on to the Manicure. I have never had a dry manicure. He did No soaking of my nails beforehand. He used an Efile Dremel w/ small ball on end to drill away my very dry cuticles. Then used a buffer with an abrasive edge. The problem was that he was not getting the job done. I could see plenty of dry cuticle sticking to bottom of my nails that he clearly was going to try to pretend weren't there. Had to literally point out 5 times where he was not getting job done. And every time I did he quietly huffed & got even more unfriendly than he was to start with. I'm a Great Tipper. I appreciate when someone cares about the job they do. This guy doesn't. Or he's too preoccupied w his Ego to hear a customer's concern. My mother also comes here. She has had issues with the elderly man but says the women are good. Don't know if I'll be coming back. I don't like being treated rudely like that. read more
