Then, when the nail colored I picked didn't cover the bruise under the nail on my big toe--Buu (nail technician) graciously chose a darker shade of the same color for me and quickly had me fixed up. The salon is clean and the choice in nail colors is your standard great. This salon is perfect for a spa day because you're right in the heart of downtown Paso. From my seat I can see Diablo Paso wine tasting. All of Paso's allures are right outside the door of the salon.

I was in town traveling with my husband for work and feel incredibly lucky they were able to fit me in. This husband-and-wife team is one of the sweetest you'll ever meet, and their attention to detail is exceptional. I wanted a very natural gel color for my manicure, and instead of settling, the wife patiently tested multiple shades until we found the perfect one. The salon was spotless, the pedicure massage was incredibly relaxing, and the quality of their work far exceeded my expectations--especially for such reasonable prices. Now I completely understand why they're always booked. Their loyal clientele says everything about the experience they provide. If you're thinking about trying Mingee Nails, don't wait--make an appointment! If I lived here, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Thank you both for making me feel so welcomed and for such a wonderful, relaxing experience. I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in the area!

Their gel manicure and pedicure services are reasonably priced and of good quality. My first visit lasted me a solid three weeks. However, I did notice that there could have been improvement in the cuticle work. Mingee, who attended to me during my first visit, did a great job with mine. I will return again and would recommend to others.

I start with the pedicure and it was everything a pedicure should be, Ella was an amazing person and very gentle. Unfortunately, as I'm finishing up my pedicure, someone else comes up to me and asks what I wanted for the manicure. I Informed them I wanted a long set coffin nail and a blue French tip. THEN is when they told me that they "don't have time" to do the set I want. At first, I thought it was because I didn't want gel.. I don't mind getting regular nail polish, I'm patient and careful when letting them dry. Then, a lady comes back to me and tries to sell me on PRESS ON NAILS for the SAME PRICE. I asked over and over if it'd be cheaper than acrylics and I was told "same price, $65." wow. Pushing a sale for gel polish is one thing, but pushing towards a whole different product is a whole other game. After going back and forth for about 10 minutes, I made it firm that I had no intentions on getting press on nails for $65. Then in the final act of desperation, this lady tells me if she were to do acrylics the way I wanted, it would be an extra $25 on top of the $65. WHAT?? Just no. Paid for the pedicure and left. Was it worth $38? Yes, if you enjoy the relaxation of a massage, scrub, and hot stone. **The picture is of what I wanted, NOT what I got**

Even after she tried to fix them I still continued experience the same problem. The woman that owns the shop , she did my nails and failed to take the proper steps to doing an acrylic full set such as trimming my actual nails, dehydrating the nail bed and buffing them, I paid well over $100 my pedicure was simple white polish however I was left with choppy paint and a large paint bubble in the polish on my big toe. When going to pay for the services they automatically charged a tip and asked for another tip as well my total came out to $150 and the nails lasted under a week I DO NOT recommend this nail salon whatsoever!!!

I don't like walking in the door and seeing the lady I requested doing a full set on a walk in before me. It really feels like they prioritize walk ins. The vibes are good in there, but unfortunately there can be a slight language barrier at times, so maybe that's where the mixups come in. They have children pedicure chairs which is sweet, if you have a daughter this is probably a good spot. Wouldn't recommend for adults squeezing full sets in their schedule. The result isn't worth the wait, unless you're goin for basic nails on the thicker side (acrylic and gel, for reference.)
