Her dip manicures are flawless, they last me up to three weeks and look great the whole time. The pedicures at the salon are wonderful too. The massage and scrub are always so relaxing, and the attention to detail really shows. Their prices are fair, and they even offer complimentary drinks and snacks for paying customers, which is such a nice touch.

The paint job was messy, and because he didn't fully file my nails down, was left with air bubbles in my nails! At this point, I chalked it up to him having a bad day, as we all do, and didn't want to let this one bad experience define Calvin for me. I even still tipped an extra 10 dollars when the work did not call for it. But, when I tried to bring my concerns to him-- he told me that was my fault because I chose that paint. What a response! You mean the paint I chose out of YOUR selection? Unbelievable. When I asked if he could fix his first job, he gave me dismissive and annoyed responses about how he was busy and couldn't until 4 days later-- but I agreed and when I returned the horrible attitude continued. He completely ignored me when I greeted him, and was even more aggressive with my hands. When I was sharing my concerns about the last job, he was rude with his responses. I decided to tell him I no longer wanted to continue getting them fixed, and I got up and left. This was all with no attempt on his end to fix his mistakes. I understand having a busy and stressful day-- trust me. What I won't excuse is having zero care for the customer in your chair. Do yourself a favor and do not come to Calvin's.

I've lived in several states and have had my nails done by many artists over the years, but no one comes close to his attention to detail, precision, and beautiful work. He also has a genuinely kind heart, which makes the experience even better. One thing I really appreciate is when my acrylic fill stays around $60 cash. Having consistent pricing makes it easier to budget, and it's something I truly value as a loyal client. I hope to keep coming back for a long time because his work is absolutely unmatched.

I stayed positive and thought, "Alright, let's give them a try." My wife got a mani-pedi, and I got a pedi. The work was just okay, but my wife did get a nip during her manicure. On top of that, they didn't use liners in the soaking tubs, and they didn't even offer us water. Overall, it felt like a low-quality establishment. Safe to say, we won't be making a second visit.

My fill was done by an older Asian male (in his 50s) and this was the worst experience in 25 years of getting my nails done. I have never been hurt by a nail tech. The file cut me SO bad that I thought my fingers were going to bleed. Additionally, the acrylic is incredibly uneven in both length and form, I can't even put it into words. Not to mention, I prefer regular polish over gel, and felt really pressured by staff to pick gel. I had my nails yesterday and I just cannot get over this experience, this is the first view I have ever written. Keep in mind, I paid in full and tipped over 20%. My pedicure was done by a slightly younger Asian male and I have no complaints about my pedicure experience. He did a great job, I would have given a 5 star review for the pedicure experience.

This time my technician was Lisa and the difference in the technical nail work was incredible. I experienced the same 5-star customer service, cleanliness, friendliness and overall care that impressed me the first time, but this time the actual finished nails matched the rest of the experience. Lisa's attention to detail and technical skill were exceptional. She still used acrylic on my big toes, which I need, but shaped and applied it so beautifully that my nails look natural. Her cuticle work was meticulous and the overall shape, application and finish were exactly what I had hoped for the first time. I am impressed with Lisa's mastery of her craft and happy with my nails. I'm glad I gave the salon another chance and I will absolutely be requesting Lisa going forward. My feet aren't the prettiest and my photography skills aren't the greatest, nonetheless my toes look gorgeous and I feel excited to come back next time!!
