It was flavorful but not the best pie I've had in NZ (which was at a place on Athol on the way down to Te Anau btw). I'm an American so take that with a grain of salt. Don't get me wrong it was good, just not great. Oh and I loved the slice of soda bread they gave you. First time trying that! Had a few NZ IPA's as well which were FANTASTIC. I don't remember the name. Anyway, everyone was friendly. I thought the prices were kind of high for a pie & a bit of mash--but perhaps that's just the tourist tax in Queenstown. Would 100% come back but I think I would try the Irish stew instead.

The bar is extremely long, probably 10 metres covering both rooms. I recommend coming here in a night of partying. Also, if this place is quiet, check the Find and see if that is going on. Usually all the backpackers choose one or the other to party at, but it's not uncommon to find them both busy in a single night.
