AAA towed her car to Tire town requested by the tow guy. Peter said he would look at my moms car while she sat their for 3 hrs, well he didn't and knew my mother was in a pinch and would be trying to get back to Maine on Monday Peter of Tire town did not look at my moms car till Monday- it was a Friday -I can get it. He looks the car over 2 hrs after being open on Monday. Reports to my mother it needs a radiator, 2 hoses and a thermostat it would be 800. Also mentions she needs new tires and her battery is rusting. Ok fine. My mother pays and heads on her 400 mile trip back to make. She makes it to New Hampshire and her car breaks down at 7pm. Ends up she needs a new engine, sway bar, new ball joints. You want to tell me this man had no idea that the car had other issues? Even if he didn't - and I don't think that was the case- is this the person you want fixing your car. This could have ended a lot worse. I just find it extremely disgusting that he sent my mother on a 400 mile trip in a car that was not safe and charged her 850 dollars. This is why car repair places get a bad rap. Think twice before going here.

Everyone from the owner, to the mechanics, to the office staff have been nothing but helpful, kind, and courteous. They are ALWAYS able to squeeze us in if we have an emergency-type of issue with one of our vehicles. They explain everything in detail (from the work that they are going to perform, to the work that may need to be done, right down to the detailed cost). On the rare occasion that they fix something, and needs to be reworked for whatever reason, they, once again, are more than willing to correct it without question. Got there, parked went in and waited, everyone was in the back, the shop area, one of the guys saw me and told another guy, they were working on or playing with a sound system, there was a little kid on a shop chair or cart rolling around while others were cranking up some music very loud on a system. I figured, give them a few minutes someone will come out to the lobby/entrance and ask me what's up, except nobody ever came. They left me standing there without acknowledging me or saying they would be right out or anything. I waited a few minutes and left, I figured they either didn't want my business or just didn't like the look of me for some reason, so I left, found another shop to do the work. At the very least someone should have either motioned to me that they see me and will be with me in a minute or come to the front to tell me, hey we see you, give me a few minutes to finish up and we will have a look at your car or something, but to just ignore me wasn't going to work for me. People that disrespect their potential customers don't have good business skills and I really don't want to get involved with someone learning their way, I need a pro. We have several vehicles that need installs and a fleet of work vans so I can't waste my time with amateurs. Buyer beware, if you don't mind unprofessionalism and waiting while being ignored as if your time is worthless or being treated like they are doing you a favor to acknowledge you then this is your shop.

They also did a quick overall check, found a brake light out which was also replaced, all for a VERY reasonable cost. I will bring my car back here for other repairs!
