If you are looking for a romantic getaway not too far from some of Boston's hot spots but yet with an exotic appeal...this is THE place to stay! I stumbled across this fantastic B&B online and fell in love with the pictures. I booked the Moroccan Luxury Suite and upon my arrival with my fiancé we were greeted warmly with champagne in our room for his birthday. This place is AMAZING and incredibly romantic. The decor and the details in the room are so gorgeous. Our host Elizabeth did a fantastic job with this place and making us feel at home. Can we talk about the bed and the linens? OMG extremely comfortable. We had the best nights sleep here. We do not want to leave and absolutely plan on coming back here the next time we visit Boston!

Lol, I don't post often on yelp. I left a long tip. Check it out. This place is well worth the stay, it is fully worth all the five stars.

Upon arrival, he assisted with my luggage, gave me an orientation and then proceeded to share with me valuable tips on attractions, restaurants and transportation. Jon was always available by phone/text. There are two equal sized units in the Green Turtle houseboat. The rooms are similar size to a quality hotel. Comfortable bed, two chairs, side table, hutch as a closet, wet bar with microwave, small refrig w/frz & coffee maker, The Bathroom & shower with seat is great. The houseboat was exceptionally clean with all components in good working order. Amenities provided was impressive: Peets Coffee, teas, creamer, yogurt, juices, water and breakfast pastries. Jon offered to refill anything I might need. Wifi worked great, wall mounted TV with Roku, thermostatically controlled AC unit and base board manually controlled heat. Green Turtle location is AMAZING, berthed on the last dock in the Charleston Marina with sweeping views in every direction. The Marina is within walking distance to ferries, shuttles and services. The Marina houses many high-end yachts. It should be noted, the houseboat is anchored on a two-sided dock. When the other side of the dock is occupied, it impedes the panoramic view. Regardless, the view at in every direction was lovely and I enjoyed seeing the neighbor yacht up close. I highly recommend the Green Turtle!

As an adult the measure of lodging is no longer magic but instead amenities, cleanliness, service, built-in iPhone chargers, etc. I'd like to report that I've found the magic again and it's not at a grand hotel it's a delightful little floating houseboat on Boston Harbor. From walking the docks to my room at the end of the day, to waking up to the sunny reflection of the ocean dancing on the ceiling above my bed in the morning, my dulled traveler's senses were getting all kinds of new feedback. The inn keepers, Jon and Karen, are a jovial couple who've been living on a sailboat for a quarter century and have succeed in recreating the experience for their guests. Karen also happens to cook a mean breakfast (the bacon, egg, on English muffin being my favorite). My biggest take way from this experience? When planning future travels take a moment investing less traditional places to stay and if you're coming to Boston stay at the magical Green Turtle.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

We stayed in July; when I asked if our room could be cooler, the hostess said no, she preferred it warmer, and we would "freeze her out" if she turned the air down any lower. She suggested leaving our room door open to get cool air from the hall or bathroom. The kitchen was definitely "off-limits" so if we wanted water we were told to get it from the bathroom tap. There would be no ice, and the bottled water was absolutely only ever for when we went out, no exceptions! The room was cluttered: I counted three throw rugs stacked on top of each other in one place. Creepy dark-feathered wreaths in each window, like some kind of Victorian house of ill-repute. The hostess was relentlessly talkative. In order to get her to stop giving us sightseeing tips and rehashing rules at 10:00 at night, I had to tell her "we are going to sleep now" to get her to go away. She had an appointment in the morning so there would be no breakfast, but the hostess said we would find power bars in the dining room. We left the power bars, and let her keep the $20. "key return" fee as well as the cost of the second night.

No one batted an eye at my partner's Looney Tunes t-shirt and shorts. I was better dressed (...definitely the Odd Couple), and we were both made to feel welcome. The cocktails were made well, and the table service was at a good pace--not rushed, but not dragged-on unnecessarily. The food was also quite good. The portions were right-sized, which was appreciated since our B&B did not have a refrigerator in the room. Though I no longer remember what we had (...probably lamb for me and Bolognese for my partner), I do remember that it was a good representation of the advertised dish--not some high concept, deconstructed bullsh*t. The desert martinis were more memorable than whatever cake we chose, but--again--I can't remember the desert being bad, just forgettable.
