Somewhere I'd read I had to be there to use the card I'd booked with so it was nice that I didn't. The concierge told me I didn't need to pay for parking in the hotel lot because it being a quiet weekend in August, there was free Saturday night/Sunday street parking right on the same block. So that was unexpected and helpful. It's also nice to be able to park temporarily in front of the hotel while we checked in And unloaded our luggage. We had two rooms right next to each other on the sixth floor. One room was comfortable and cool but the other AC was not as good (I felt quite warm) and so I asked for 2 fans. I did have to carry them up myself but it made for good sleep. The king beds were quite comfortable and I loved the blue and white quilts! The red velvet couches were gorgeous. The secondary blanket for the pull out couch, was not of the same quality. Nor were the decorative bed pillows. But in all it was the quaintest hotel room ever! More like a historic bed & breakfast. Ask ahead if you need something, extra like pillows or towels because the room staff doesn't stay past 8 (?) PM. I would've liked if there were four bathrobes hanging in the closet instead of one since they were four guests. I didn't ask for more-maybe I should have. I did ask for and get more towels, it seemed a little bit silly, for their not have been enough left so that everyone had their own. But it was an easy fix. We didn't use the coffee maker in the room or the microwave. We used the refrigerator and it was nice to have. We must have gotten upgraded (!) because these things were not listed as available. (I booked on an outside site.) Breakfast was good- lots of hot bacon scrambled eggs, and potatoes, (add your own salt, pepper, hot sauce... plus many extra things like brioche bread to toast, fruit, oats and yoghurt. I particularly liked the little cranberry scones. The coffee was very good. And tea was available to make. Note they left drink drinks out past 10 AM (when breakfast is officially over). I appreciated this because it's nice to be able to get a 2nd cup of tea and or coffee. Seating was casual in the lobby or at some tables which were pretty full. I saw some people did go outside through a side door, to the black sheep restaurant seating but there's no sign for it. I didn't know you could until later I noticed people out there when I was leaving. Some of my group had great oysters and scallops across the street. It was a happy hour. One thing I liked about the location was that even though it's not in the busiest part of Boston, there were nice restaurants within walking distance and even a lounge/restaurant within the hotel. All in all, a cute, relaxing, quiet and comfortable hotel that I would stay at again.

The service was decent and check-in was smooth. They give welcome refreshments, which was a nice surprise. There's a food hall in the lobby area with snacks and drinks, plus some pastries and coffee in the morning--basic, but not bad. Now for the not-so-great part: I booked months in advance and specifically requested a king bed. We ended up with double beds. The front desk said it was because of graduation season which was exactly why I booked so early. That was frustrating. Also, we were placed in the annex building (southside), which is kind of a long walk from the main lobby. Not ideal if you've got luggage or are checking in late. If you book, try to request the main building instead. Price-wise, I found it a little steep for the location. I stayed later in the week at a hotel in Cambridge that was around the same price but felt more convenient overall. Would I stay again? Maybe, maybe not. It's got personality, but I'd compare other options first.

The hotel even texted me asking for an ETA and I booked months in advance, so there's no reason for that mishap. Valet parking was quick and easy and our car arrived promptly after texting for pickup. Overall, would recommend.

There were two moms and four girls in our group, and after spending the day in uncomfortable cowboy boots in awful weather, we were really looking forward to relaxing at the hotel. Unfortunately, the customer service was some of the worst I've experienced. Upon arrival, the rooms were not ready at the designated 3pm check-in time and were 1.5 hours late, leaving little time to get ready for the concert. You're instructed to text for room service, but no one responds. Calling wasn't any better--no one answered. I finally called the front desk to request towels and a breakfast menu. They sent one old, worn-out towel for a room with four people. To make matters worse, there was a QR code in the room encouraging guests to tip housekeeping, which felt inappropriate given how difficult it was just to receive basic service. I then asked a housekeeper in the hallway for more towels and was met with resistance. She told me they were running low and that she wasn't assigned to my room, so she wanted to save her towels to finish her rooms and leave for the day. I actually had to argue just to get enough towels for everyone. She eventually acknowledged that we were, in fact, entitled to towels--those were her exact words--but guests should never have to debate whether they'll receive basic amenities. The room service food itself was decent, but every order arrived without silverware--even for items like mac and cheese that obviously require utensils. It was frustrating to keep chasing down items that should have been included. The room also lacked natural light, felt poorly maintained, and honestly felt like sleeping in a cave. The location is excellent if you're attending an event at TD Garden, but the poor customer service, lack of attention to basic guest needs, and tired rooms made this a disappointing stay. These views come from inside and outside the building. It's located in Boston, lots of pride here for the baseball team, it's the "official home," of the Boston Red Sox . As you walk and down the Ave of Commonwealth, the traffic is terrible. Make sure and watch and experience the area as a pedestrian. When you check into the hotel the parking is all valet. Remember this is a luxurious place and the parking is pricey about $75 a night . You can check in around four p.m. too! The experience is absolutely flawless. They have all that you need to have a great evening . We are on vacation and they have in room dining . All was absolutely perfect on our trip. Thank you to the staff for making the evening special.

My room was small, but certainly sufficient space for a one night stay. I appreciated having a refrigerator and water in my room (and I like how the hotel is trying to reduce plastic waste). Everything was very clean and comfortable and the location, just minutes walk from the Davis T station, was very convenient. The only thing that would make a very nice stay better would be a more comfortable reading chair in the common room or larger pillows for reading in bed.

The room was spacious, but the bed was small and the furniture was tired and worn. A lot of the carpet was stained with what might have been spilled bleach. The bathroom functioned well enough, but the shower grout was moldy and the wall was damaged (see photos). Parking is nearby - we paid $40 for overnight parking at the LAZ lot about two blocks away. You are walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops in/around the prudential center. For nearly $450/night all in, I'd almost rather have a smaller, nicer room in a hotel with a valet/adjoining parking lot. Undecided on if I'd stay here again.

In the neighboring building there is a coffee shop that was convenient as well. The location worked out perfectly, close to Harvard and only about 10 minutes from downtown Boston. I was traveling with my dog, so I appreciated that they're pet friendly, and the valet made everything super convenient. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.
