    I would like to start off by saying that I've been a huge fan of Morimoto products and I've purchased just about every available item for my vehicle. This most recent purchase has been been very unpleasant. I purchased a set of XB tail lights for my Ford Raptor and once they arrived they were clearly damaged when shipped, no signs of impact what so ever. Granted this item was open stock but they did not mention that it was in unusable condition. I reached out to the Morimoto warranty team on 8/20 bringing attention to the issue but unfortunately they are very unhelpful and gave me the run around for a little over 3 weeks. I finally got an update today 9/11, stating they are unable to honor their 3 year warranty and the only option is to return the tail lights and purchase a different pair. That being said, I will reconsider doing any business with them due to their warranty team. I would advise others to reconsider as well

It was the wrong part so I took it back to that store and they said no it was an online order. I would not have ordered it online if I would have known that. So I went through the process of returning it through ups and that was 12 days ago 13 days ago and I still have not gotten my refund even though they gave me a refund approval number. I've called customer service three times and cannot get an answer as to what is going on with my refund. They keep telling me that their warehouse isn't getting back to them well that doesn't work as an excuse for me because they're internal communication problems are not my problems. So it's been over 10 days they owe me a refund and I can't even find out if it's been processed what they're doing with it but they did receive and I have receipts for the receipt of the part I shipped back. And they don't seem like they're in much of an urgency but to me a couple hundred dollars is a lot of money and I need that to do other things with my car. And this is holding me up and I can't even get an answer their customer service is absolutely horrid they don't care about you and they don't get back to you when they say they're going to get back to you not once have they gotten back to me when they say they're going to get back to me I have to keep calling them. I filed the complaint I was supposed to get confirmation of that nope nothing. They had absolutely no problem taking my money like immediately.

    I'm disappointed with how Advance Auto Parts handled my warranty issue. I purchased a Platinum…read moreDieHard battery from them four months ago, and last week my car wouldn't start. After getting a jump, I drove to a trusted mechanic who ran a quick check and suspected the battery was the problem--without charging me. I returned to Advance Auto Parts expecting a straightforward swap. Instead, they asked me to keep the car running for 30 minutes before testing the battery. I explained that testing a freshly charged battery doesn't reveal whether it can hold a charge, but they insisted it was store policy and refused to do more. I went back to the mechanic, who kept the car overnight and confirmed the battery was indeed defective. Only after I contacted Advance Auto Parts corporate and shared the diagnostic results did they agree to replace the battery. Since the swap, I've had no issues--but they still refused to reimburse the diagnostic fee. To be clear, the store staff weren't the problem. The real issue is the flawed policy that prevents proper testing and delays warranty fulfillment. Advance Auto Parts needs to update its procedures to better support customers and honor its product guarantees.

They also installed my new battery for me which I am so grateful for. Both were very kind to me, and I also noticed they were helping others as they were assisting me. As a younger woman who just moved to this city, I felt very same and comfortable with them and their help!
