After the incident, the dogs got loose again, posing a serious threat to the safety of our entire street. We live in a family-friendly neighborhood where children play and neighbors walk daily. The presence of these dangerous animals has created fear and unrest in what was once a peaceful community. Lexington Relocation Services has a responsibility to thoroughly investigate the individuals they place in residential neighborhoods. In this case, their lack of due diligence has had heartbreaking and dangerous consequences. They have disrupted the safety and harmony of our community.

The apartments are immaculate with modern furnishings, kitchen amenities, secure wifi, cable and comfy beds! I like the fact that you are the only user on the wifi, not like hotels. I will continue to stay with Lexington Relocation and recommend them to business associates, family and friends. They are hands down a better stay than other lodging. Tracy Knauss

The swing on the boulder has virtually no path way and is very difficult to get to. The bedrooms were surprisingly eerie, the dishes were filthy and you could tell it hadn't been dusted in a long time. The shower needs recaulked and there is what appears to be black mold growing where it needs to be recaulked. The wood provided for $25 wasn't great and at no point could we get it to light. We did notice someone else had thrown the same wood piece burned like ours that they couldn't get to light on the side of the house. The stairs to get to and from the car aren't great. The ceiling fans with the lights only worked sometimes. One of the AC units didn't work at all. All of this isn't enough to make me give it two stars. After me and my dog were creeped out by the room on the first night I went to go sleep on the couch but there were too many bugs. It is the woods, so that's to be expected. But what I didn't expect was for me to go up to bunk with my friend in their bed and find a large dead roach that someone had stomped on and left previously. Having been grossed out by that we decided to do a bed bug check. They have no bed protection to prevent bed bugs, and we saw some red flakes on the mattress topper. At this point we both decided to sleep on the couch where we ended up sleeping the entire time. The next morning we went through all of our luggage one by one and bagged everything and carried it to the car one by one to not bring home roaches. This took up the entire day. We decided to reward ourselves with a soak in the hot tub which was the highlight of our trip. Then came the large live roach in the living room. We decided with everything packed up in the car and everything inside packed into bags to get out and see the gorge. Unfortunately for us this was the only day we experienced any of the gorge. We had planned to cook but were feeling uneasy about the roaches but decided I would make one good meal for us. I showered then my friend went to shower and the water ran out. I will say, the most wonderful maintenance man Stuart did his very best to make it easy on us. We were without water from about 8:30 pm till noon the next day. So obviously, no hot tub that night and by the time I had finished cooking and cleaning without water we were both exhausted- so we ended up sleeping (again we were sleeping on the couch) for most of the next day considering we couldn't shower until the water was back on. Stuart was at our place in 25 minutes at 9 pm once he was alerted of the situation. Every number I called led me to another number to call or text and we did get a text reply after the 11th call. We did notice earlier that day that a light under the porch was on before the water went out. It wasn't on previously so we have no idea who was there doing what during our one day out but it was creepy to know that someone had come by and been underneath the house. Stuart brought us two very large water jugs to hold us over and carried them up those stairs at 9 pm the night the water went out. He was back 3-4 times to check on us and update us about the water. He was so sweet, very considerate and we absolutely adored him. He is the reason I'm not giving 1 star and also one of the highlights of our stay there. Obviously it can be a little uncomfortable having a man come to your cabin at night but he was absolutely amazing and we TRULY appreciate how much he cared and updated us. Stuart gets 11/10 in our book! Once the water was back RRG offered us an extra night at a 'discounted rate.' At that point we were already only staying because we paid for it and were already trying to make the most of it. Between the roaches and the water outage, the time spent trying to light a fire and the time spent trying to sleep knowing there's roaches all around you it was a stressful, really crappy excuse for a cabin vacation. We considered leaving several times but toughed it out since we had already spent the time, money and effort to be there. We had a full schedule planned, in the end we only did 2 things we had on our agenda. I can honestly say this was the worst experience I've ever had staying in a cabin and we will never stay there again. We encountered 5 large roaches total. We stayed from Sunday night to Thursday at noon. I would not recommend these cabins ever. Stuart does deserve a raise though as he is awesome! We stayed at Boulder Springs.

The house was huge and had everything you could possibly need. There were 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The master suite was upstairs and had 2 private balconies, a jetted tub and tons of space. There was a nice 4 person hot tub on the deck and picnic tables and a grill. My parents came up and stayed one night and we had a blast grilling and enjoying the outdoor space. We were walking distance to the little clubhouse which has a pool but it was not open due to Covid. I think it opened July 1st though. We did some hiking and checked out the Taylorsville Lake Marina which was a 5 minute drive. They had kayaks, canoes and boats to rent. Daniel and I rented a 2 person kayak for a day. Unfortunately, after about 30 minutes on the lake, we got caught in a storm. But, the workers sent a pontoon boat to rescue us and gave us a credit to come back for another Kayak day. Super fun experience. Best part- it is only a 35 minute drive from Louisville.

Unfortunately when walking into our room it had trash, including toothbrushes of the previous guest and the beds had not been touched. We let the woman in the front know and she offered to turn the room over. We thanked her and then 45 minutes later we were in our room. However there was a man screaming and talking to himself at full volume on the other side of our wall... We tried to give the very kind front desk worker the benefit of the doubt that she hadn't heard him yelling while she changed our sheets for 45 minutes but after 20 minutes of not being able to fall asleep I called to the front desk to let her know. She assured me that she would look into it but the screaming continued for another hour. Multiple people came to the door of the man who was screaming to ask him to be quiet but nothing helped. I eventually called down a 2nd time. It was about 3:30 am, 2 and a half hours after we arrived, and the woman at the front desk stated that she had called to the room next door but no one had answered...i then requested that she either check herself or call the police if she felt unsafe. I know I felt unsafe, which is why I could not fall asleep. I did hear her walk past our room to talk to him and he quieted down around 4 am. At no point was I ever offered a refund. Not when we showed up to a trash filled/dirty room, not when we had to wait 45 minutes to shower. No offer of a refund when I had to call down to ask for help with a screaming man who was clearly unwell. No offer after the second call over an hour later when my first call had been mostly dismissed. In the morning I spoke with the front desk worker, Robert, who listened patiently and reviewed the notes but was only able to offer a 50% discount. I request that he speak with his boss and listened as he called...after everything was relayed I was told again that there was no possible way to refund me my full $60. Why? Because we slept in the bed so we had to pay. Even though the bed was neither ready and trust me when I say...I spent the night more terrified than rested. I asked the front desk worker in the morning to please reach out to me if something could be done...even a room comp to another Motel 6 in the future...but nope. All that was offered in addition was a snarky comment about how I could take as many of the dirty mattresses in the parking lot.... So I urge you, stay far away. Because while the workers are mostly kind, whoever owns this hotel has no regard for his customers
