This B&B is the epitome of homey! The owners take a real interest in their guests and treat us just like family - OK, probably better than family;). We were on a road trip back to Chicago after a week at the beach. We stopped here & got a fabulous rate. The rooms were updated, free breakfast, WARM pool, body wash/shampoo dispensers in the rooms, and friendly staff. There isn't an elevator because it's only a two floor building, but they are happy to help carry suitcases. This is a budget friendly hotel that is clean and provides a good night sleep. read more

My stay at The Homeplace Guesthouse was short and sweet. The drive to Wilmore from Lexington was very short, however filled with the sights of Kentucky's beautiful horse farms. Once I arrived at my destination, I was greeted by Carol Miller at the side porch. The home was very scenic, and had a warm feel. Breakfast at this B&B was no joke. I, along with the other three guests and Carol enjoyed a delicious home cooked breakfast casserole consisting of eggs, onion, mushrooms and green peppers. Delicious. We also ate toast, fresh fruit, coffee and orange juice. The table was elegantly set, in front of two glass French doors leading out to their property. The home was decorated and very cozy. Art and Carol are truly wonderful people, and I look forward to staying in their home again soon. read more
