After my parent's old escrow company closed down I looked to Yelp in hopes of finding a reliable,…read morehonest and professional escrow company local to the Beverlywood area. I came across a few with good reviews but Overland Escrow was the number one rated company at the time. After checking their webiste and learning of the company history and their insurance coverage, I called and spoke with Sullivan Garret. Sullivan answered all of my questions and gave me a summary of the company and that is was a family run business that enjoyed the work they did.. He was also the only one to explain the Franchise Tax Board withholding for rental property sales that two other agents failed to mention. He's very personable, easy to speak with and has a great radio voice. The company has a 2 story office building on the corner of Venice and Cardiff making it easily accessible for my parents. It's located near Old Town Culver City. It's local to the Palms, Beverlywood area. As soon as my parents signed the offer on the property, our Redfin Agent emailed Sullivan with all the necessary documents on Christmas Eve. From opening escrow, to signing documents and the wire transfers, everything went smoothly. Sullivan always took the time to answer any questions and explain all costs related to the escrow funds. I never had to leave a voicemail. He communicated via phone and email in a very timely fashion. I couln't have asked for a better escrow experience. I will be recommending them to anyone looking for an honest and professional escrow company. We will be doing business again. Thank you Overland Escrow.

Bridgette made both me and my clients feel very comfortable and well informed during the escrow process. The selling agent was pleased with her service as well. When buying or selling a home you need a professional in your corner who will look out for your best interests. Jason is a person of character who works to build your trust and I fully believe he had our back throughout the entire process. FYI this is also coming from someone who generally distrusts everyone! I hear friends talk about their experience with different agents and they often are unsatisfied and feel like their agent rushed things at the end during the credit negotiations to try to finish up and get their check. Jason took his time with our negotiations and ended up getting us a great deal on repairs and credits. Jason and Lori's knowledge, professionalism and consistent communication really set them apart from everyone else. I learned a great deal from them with our latest home purchase. Do yourself a favor and reach out to The Lowery Group for your real estate needs, you won't regret it!!

In December of 2020, my husband and I made a cross-country trip from the East Coast to Los Angeles to sell my elderly parents' home. Imagine trying to move your octogenarian parents across the country to live with you but also selling their home during a pandemic. Stressful does not begin to describe our situation. The home needed to be emptied of 45 years of belongings in three weeks so we could sell the property. Jason not only held our hands through the entire process but managed to make my 82 yo mother feel that she was making the right decision. Not only did Jason spend a long time with our family but his professional skills are epic. After 30+ bids on my childhood home, Jason managed to get us approximately $135K above the asking price. This has allowed my parents security in their golden years. I cannot express my gratitude to the Lowery Group. Jason is a people person and true professional. Never hesitate to work with Jason. He is more than worth it!

I met other agents before decided moving forward with them. And I have to say most agents are friendly, but not all of them are professional. The most obvious thing is they can't give me an explicit and reasonable pricing strategy. However, AMMINADAB and Kelley had really good reasoning on their strategy, which helped us to get the offer without biding. The following inspection process is really good. I'm always conservative on what other people recommend to me, but the inspectors they recommend turned out to be really good after I did my research and their inspection service is very professional as well. There's some unexpected issues arose during the escrow and our agents always stood for our benefits instead of just trying to close it as quick as possible, instead they suggested us to extend the escrow process.

We wanted to find someone we could really trust to oversee the process, and we were extremely lucky to have Todd and Kelley represent us. Also we want to note that it was very easy to communicate with them. We got frequent updates every step of the way, and they were transparent about the entire process. We also found their expertise to be super helpful. We had talked to several agents, and it was clear they were the most experienced and knowledgeable. They are local to Culver City, so they had a firm grasp of the market and buyers, which helped us strategize. Thank you, Todd and Kelley, for the support. Instead, he helped us stay focused on finding a home we truly loved and felt good about. Then, when the right condo finally came on the market, Andrew jumped in as our guide through the process. He got us in for a showing within 24 hours, helped us put together a strong offer within 48 hours, and guided us through every step with so much confidence and expertise that what felt intimidating suddenly felt manageable. Our offer was accepted quickly, escrow was smooth, and just 15 days later, we were homeowners. Andrew is thoughtful, responsive, and somehow makes a stressful process feel fun.
