This review is specifically for Natasha Jesrani. I rented a 2-bd property from her for a 4-yr period and attempted to build a relationship based on mutual respect and good communication during the pandemic. For the majority of my time as a tenant, it went well. However, I ended up getting laid off and had to terminate my lease early, to move for a new job. We had a series of discussions based on unresolved issues related to outstanding repairs and lease terms. Natasha was unprofessional during this time, disrespectful and when she didn't get what she wanted at a given moment, resorted to personally insulting me. It seems Sundays are her free day, that's when you can expect to get nasty texts from her regarding issues that aren't currently in her favor. She doesn't seem to manage maintenance well, and besides keeping my security deposit without discussion, she persistently texted me for money weekly 2-3 months after my departure. What bothers me is I typically am a responsible tenant, not perfect by any means, even going above and beyond in areas: - Showing her property to prospective tenants - Meeting her in-person on a trip across the country to give her a duplicate key I made - Cleaning items I found dirty such as curtains and HVAC registers (when a mold problem arose for an end-of-life AC) - Small DIY tune-up such as door hinges .....and she was still incredibly disrespectful to me in moments when a situation wasn't in her favor. Caution/beware - I cannot state this strongly enough, I do not recommend working with agent Amara "Amy" Khan at Rodeo Realty. In my experience this individual was a dishonest, rude, negligent, incompetent, pathological liar. During my transaction, Amy told us she was an accredited interior decorator to sell her alleged professional decorating services because as a pro decorator she gets Design Rates at the stores...all lies. She also tried to sell us insurance...told us she's a licensed insurance agent too?? We didn't go for that. Anyway, Amy took measurements wrong 4 times (in person and from a floor plan), and then misappropriated the money we paid her to buy furniture that didn't fit, used our money to fund her "other businesses" (She texted me this when I asked for a refund and she didn't have the money to pay back), wouldn't refund our balance, provide receipts, or delivery tracking. For 6 weeks. I fiiiiinally got our money back - but only after she admitted in text what she did and I told her I was going to the police to have her arrested for Misappropriation of funds, financial abuse, and go to the News, report her to Zillow, the DRE, the CAR, etc. I asked another party on our deal if he knew Amy Kahn was so unscrupulous and he called her boss Scott Goshorn. Only then did Amy start responding again after going radio silent. She finally Zelle'd my money back from different accounts over the course of the day. Amy Con also left the country with our keys and garage opener for 2 weeks, then finally sent some random guy in flip flops to return them. Yelled at me any time I asked for furniture receipts, our keys, our money or didn't respond at all. The vendors (inspector, alleged contractor, handyman) Amy referred were shoddy and unprofessional at best. She also FAILED to set a follow-up HVAC inspection per the original Inspection Report which could potentially trigger Errors and Omissions. Also, I have text message evidence to back up everything stated in this post so don't try me - unless you want me to post them. And in case you're wondering, the only reason I did not go to the police is because Amy Con finally returned our money she tried to steal although she has not paid client refund credits from purchases. She doesn't seem to grasp that is theft, and that Misappropriation of client funds is illegal. Filing a police report for that now. I still don't have any emails with the furniture order correspondence or receipts as promised several times. She becomes unhinged any time I request this information. This should be provided to a client as a matter of operation - it shouldn't even need to be requested, let alone several times over 6 weeks. She is a liar and a thief. This is not the conduct expected from a licensed real estate agent, especially from a known company like Rodeo Realty. read more

I would not recommend working with Keith Adler based on my experience. Perhaps he has gained more experience since then, but at the time, his negligence and attitude made the process unnecessarily difficult. While he presents himself as having 30 years of real estate experience, much of that appears to stem from flipping foreclosure homes rather than representing residential buyers. During the purchase, he was unable to provide the level of guidance or organization required, especially for a deal with a short escrow period. Some basic responsibilities, such as scheduling inspections, were left to me. He even left town during a critical window and only returned after I raised concerns. Toward the end, when questions arose about overlooked tasks, he became defensive rather than constructive and seemed unfamiliar with much of the standard paperwork. In hindsight, I likely should have ended the relationship sooner, but as a first-time buyer, I was advised to stay the course. I now see that decision led to more complications. He should not have been assigned to a time-sensitive transaction, and it's clear he needed more training and oversight from his brokerage, Rodeo Realty. Even after closing, issues persisted, for example, I had to retrieve my own keys from the listing agency. Ultimately, I handled many aspects of the process that should have been managed by my agent. This experience would have gone far more smoothly with someone more experienced or better supported. read more

I met bernie kozak at the gym 2 1/2 years ago. I was new to California. He asked me where I live and helped me to try to get a job. He told me once I get a job after two years to stop paying rent and save my money . I followed his advice and now I have a great deal. He helped me buy a condo without his guidance it would've never happened. He got me a large credit in Escrow that I used to buy down the loan. This saved me a lot of money and helped me with out-of-pocket expenses. He also got money off the asking price every day. Bernie would communicate with me and my wife he not only is a realtor. He became a good friend I strongly recommend him to all my friends and family and contacts sincerely. read more

Michael Moore helped me sell a house in West LA. He was highly recommended by a neighbor in that area. In this process he was unbelievably helpful. He had an acute awareness of the market in that area, especially one where conditions were changing rapidly. He also had excellent strategies for selling the house. He worked and participated in every step of the process including helping clear out the stuff in the house, advising me about what needed to be done to prepare the house to be put on the market, and finding people to do all this work. I can't imagine anyone else being as helpful and as patient as he was. Besides all his work and help, the most satisfying part of the process was working with Michael Moore. He is a remarkably straight-forward, clear headed, tolerant, patient, and honest person. I began the process very wary of realtors and of the pitfalls of selling a house. It soon became clear that my concerns were not warranted. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and well done. I rarely recommend people for anything but I recommend Michael Moore without qualifications. He is outstanding. read more

Bad experience with this broker / salesman .lied to me regarding a transaction in LA county . Very poor response to my interests . Got me to sign with him by suggesting a higher price point then couldn't deliver . Apparently induced the buyer with freebies but never discussed these with me . Sarintino was strictly interested in his commission . I expected a professional consultant approach but he used high pressure on me as I was out of state . Basically represented the buyer . I called his broker Sydney and got the oh well you signed the agreements, very disappointing. These guys are the lowest level of courtesy and professional interests . I didn't know the area well and she did, so she would always provide pros and cons and was never pushy. OUR OPINION AS CONDO BUYERS: USING RODEO REALTY AND HERB LAMBERT WAS AN UNMITIGATED DISASTER. We found our recent experience working with Rodeo Realty as the buyer of a condominium to be a disaster. We were "advised" by an agent on Mr. Lambert's team who was, in our opinion, either incompetent or misinformed (Ms. Cathleen Cull), Ms. Cull told us that the condo we on which we had put in a bid had two parking spots. During the final walk-through, we found out that there was only one spot. When we escalated our concerns, we found Rodeo management (Mr. Herb Lambert) to be condescending and combative. Our experience is that Rodeo Realty was not sufficiently concerned with providing us accurate information. In the future, we will consider the stated role of an agent as a fiduciary (who gets a handsome commission for their work) and we will find someone who is both honest and knowledgeable. Given our experience, we would never use Ms. Cathleen Cull, Mr. Herbert Lambert or Rodeo Realty, as, in our opinion, they were not good advisors with our interests at heart. read more

Wende Schoof works at Rodeo Realty and she is an unprofessional nasty realtor! Apparently she is in charge of training, which is a joke beacuse she treats potential buyers that don't look the part like absolute trash! Even if you are with you family, she will not care she'll still speak very nasty to you like she is better than you. I had the unfortunate experience of encourtering Wende Schoof as a selling agent and she was incredibly rude and nasty! What's laughable is that she trains other realtors to act this way? Or perhaps she doesn't practice what she teaches. I still am receiving conflicting stories from all involved with the sale of my home(Joe Babajian & Greg Davis). I took the time to investigate how my son was enabled to show up at escrow and steal monies that were promised to me without any notification. I asked for clarification but received none. I then took the time to spend 21 minutes with Greg Davis on July 17, 2020. He advised me to contact the Escrow Co, as they would Have dispersed the commission. I was informed Joe Babajian does not do paperwork. I contacted MB Escrow Monday morning with a failed phone number. I also contacted Mr. Davis to verify the number. I called and emailed MB Escrow For three days unsuccessfully, only to learn they dissolved their co in June 2020. I have also informed former counsel who does remember asking "what the hell happened" in re my commission in the offices of Rodeo Realty. These agents have selective memories, but I do remember and find it interesting there are no return calls. Oh, you betcha' they would call me if I had a Milti million listing! read more

My girlfriend and I had an incredibly smooth sailing, first-time home buying experience with Ted Fleming and Rodeo Realty. Ted was patient and un-assuming and really allowed us the time to explore which home was right for us. When it was time to bid, he let us find what price we were comfortable with offering, and would offer strategic and informative points to help us better gauge our position. We found the condo that was perfect for us and told Ted that we didn't want to lose it in the bidding process. Sure enough, he was assertive and precise in his actions, and we got the condo! Moving into escrow, disclosures, and loan approvals (a daunting experience for a first-time home buyer), was made into a transparent and educational process. Ted was readily available and we could trust that he had our best interest in mind. He orchestrated everything wonderfully; - He quickly answered all of our questions and re-assured us of our worries as they arose (we frequently had lots of questions) - Kept our loan agent informed and on top of our approval - Was scrupulous with the disclosures and CC&R's to search for any red flags - Deliberate with our terms to the seller - Inquired on our behalf to contractors and the HOA for future home improvements. Furthermore, his thorough nature and complete work ethic helped us find a request for repairs that would otherwise have gone unnoticed. In the end, there were no gimmicks or smoke screens, and everything felt clearly communicated and properly handled. As a first-time home buyer we had plenty of concerns, but after working with Ted and Rodeo Realty we had full confidence in our purchase. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. read more

Mickey was referred to me by a close friend. I had a very bad experience when purchasing my home and was afraid to deal with another agent. I chose Mickey because of his honesty and not only did I find him to be honest and hardworking but an excellent negotiator. I was going to spend money and time fixing up my bathroom and Mickey advised me not to bother since my pool was not in working order and I did not have the funds to repair it. We would have to sell to an investor with all cash anyway since a bank was not likely to approve a loan without everything in working order. We had multiple offers. One of which was Mickey's client (over full price) but he was only happy for me when another agent brought an offer for much higher. During the buyer's inspection, it was found that the power to the pool filter was not working and the buyer asked for $4000 to repair. Mickey called his father who is a general contractor and had him send out his electrician who fixed it in 5 minutes and just charged a service call. I can see where Mickey gets his good work ethics from. I felt protected and in good hands the whole time. I have found an agent for life and a friend. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. read more

Kyle Eisenhart is a real estate broker extraordinaire. We are out-of-towners who were looking for an investment townhouse or condo in the Los Angeles area that we would rent out in the short-run and eventually use as our residence. Kyle showed us many properties and each time explored our views to narrow the field. We ultimately found the perfect apartment in Marina Del Rey, but the owner just couldn't decide if she actually wanted to sell. Kyle did not give up. He sent letters to the owners in the same tier to see if anyone with the same floor plan and a potentially comparable view was interested in selling, but had not placed their unit on the market. Lo and behold, the owners of the apartment one floor down, with the same great view, responded. We purchased the unit through a 1031 exchange and Kyle put us in contact with all of the right people for the exchange, the escrow, and the closing. We got the ideal unit for us (with a terrific long term tenant), at a fair price, thanks to a smart and energetic broker. We are looking forward to seeing Kyle and his fiancé when they visit our home city next week. We will greet them with champagne.
