What impressed us the most was the full skillful crew that got the work done and cleaned up within a few hours.

This was the first time this 14 years in the ground tree had been trimmed and it really needed it as it basically looked like very large bush. The only downside is that we lost some of our privacy and now have a view of the cu de sac across from us but I feel that on the whole, it is still an improvement for our yard. Now I can replant and rearrange my front yard for better use. Many thanks to the crew, owner Darrell and the crew foreman whose name escapes me for communicating and treating my tree, myself and my husband with respect. I highly recommend. The price was reasonable for the skill and license and insured nature of their business.

My three nephews stacked the wood, but there appeared to be a lot of small scraps (two big garbage cans of those scraps) after the wood was stacked. Once the scraps were collected there was a tremendous amount of sawdust, chips and other debris on the ground. Previously when I ordered firewood, the debris was minor and I just swept it off the driveway. It was way too much to sweep off the driveway. We collected 24 garbage bags of debris. Now, I have to deal with 24 bags of trash. As we were bagging debris were found some wood hidden in the vast amount of debris.

The fail came on the second job. I was very clear from the outset that I was trying to get reimbursed via grant from the county and would need one line in final invoice/receipt to describe the distance from my home to provide to the county. Melvin assured me that it was no problem. After the work was complete (as well as payment) I sent 4 text messages a voicemail and two emails between Nov 11 and Dec 19. I received one response to the first text that he would send it out the next day. It never came and he never responded again. The window closed for document collection and I missed the opportunity for a $1500 grant reimbursement, which in this difficult time of increasing cost of living expenses, would have been incredibly useful. So I cannot recommend CBC Tree Services if you need anything requiring follow up or communication. Really, really disappointing Melvin and CBC.
