The wear and tear in our kitchen was noticable and since we are considering selling and currently living in the house, we needed a solution that did not involve sanding and that could address only the most highly trafficked areas. We agreed on refinishing the kitchen area only. There is a slight sheen difference but barely noticeable with furniture, rugs, lamps, etc. and the area that he refinished looks dramatically better than before. And I LOVE that we did not have to do the entire floor to get a new fresh look with minimal cost. Thanks to Dave, we are fully prepared to sell if need be and can enjoy living here in the meantime.

I have to say I can see why this company has poor reviews…read more I set up an appointment with them for today between 5pm to 6pm. Horatio shows up, and I showed him around and went over my issues. I him I need a solution and a quote to fix the flooring in my house. It was like he didn't want to be here. He said he couldn't fix my issues. When I asked what caused my problems he said he couldn't say be a he didn't do the work, but he gave me ideas. I then said well can we put together a quote to repair or replace he said no because he didn't do the job. So he knew what the issues were, but couldn't be bothered to do a quote. What a waste of time. Stay away from these clowns.

I was given a quote by Davids and an estimate of two to three days to install hardwood floors in my…read moreliving room, dining room and hallway. After the first day the floors looked so good I decided I wanted to use new molding instead of reusing the old. I went and purchased and pre-painted the new molding. The next day I was informed that it would cost an additional $200 to install the new molding because it would take extra time to cut and install the new molding. They finished the entire job in a day an a half which is less than the original estimate so how much more time did it add to the job? I was also charged an additional $100 for the bullnose that goes at the top of the stairs (I am in a raised ranch). According to the owner they missed that in their quote. After doing this for more than 10 years i would think it would be obvious that they needed this and if they missed it they should have eaten the cost. Finally they cut all of flooring in my dining room. While they did vacum the floor before they left, they left a heavy layer of dust on all of the furniture. I am planning to redo my kitchen floor next and I let David's know this. However after they played games with the final price I will be looking elsewhere. While the finished product is nice find someone who will stick to the agreed upon price.
