By far the worst experience I've had with a contractor. They left my house looking like a war zone…read more No concern for my property and didn't even finish their job. Just cut trees and either pushed them into a space or left them where they fell. All while not even caring about the environment around them. They even dropped trees/branches on my cable and telephone line (Thank God I don't use them) and then just left the wires laying on my yard and left for good. 1 star for actually cutting some trees down, but it's hard to give any type of positivity to this review with what I have to deal with now.

I recently needed to remove a very large maple tree that had suffered some damage during a storm…read more It was a concern to us that future storms could cause further damage to both the tree and surrounding property. Paulo's came to determine the status of the tree and what options were available. We agreed that the risk of further damage was great and that its falling down was inevitable. I was given a very reasonable quote for the tree removal and was able to schedule the work within a few weeks. Paulo's crew arrived as scheduled with up to date equipment and protective coverings for the lawn. The work was done skillfully and with great attention to avoiding any damage to landscaping and property. They worked continuously and cleaned up without virtually any debris or sawdust. The entire crew were extremely professional and polite. It was an entirely satisfying experience.

His prices were clear and competitive. The team was careful to lay down protective wood for the bucket truck & the wood chipper to protect our lawn. The team work was incredible to see - they also did a fantastic job of clearing up after them, clearing all of the branches and leaves. We took down approximately 15 trees, trimmed multiple large oaks, pines, hemlocks and stumps. Josh was also responsive to some additional scope that we added while they were working, for a reasonable agreed additional fee. We are extremely happy with Josh's service and would *highly recommend* him & his team. We always do our due diligence before hiring - we had 5 different tree trimming companies come and look at the same scope before deciding to choose Rivers Tree Service. We now have beautiful sunsets, glittering river views and pink skies in the evening.

He has painted the exterior of our home and garage twice, and has done many other interior and exterior jobs for us, large and small. Somehow Jeff continues to find high quality people to work for him. No matter when we think the project is finished, Jeff and his guys continue to ask "is there anything else you need or want us to do?" He is probably not the cheapest guy on the block, but the quality of his work is worth his very competitive prices. He also has access to competent sub-contractors to do home repairs, or other additional services required outside of the painting contract. We have had a few unexpected situations where we had to call Jeff back to redo something. He has always called back promptly and fixes whatever is needed. We recommend Jeff Bousquet Painting and Home Improvement without hesitation. We look forward to being in touch with him for any future services we might need. The Levines, Westport
