After several days of drying the damage, they cut out walls and ceilings and carpet damage, covered all the areas with plastic for health reasons, and cleaned the entire home so it was dust free. SONDRA answered every call and question during the whole crisis. She was so patient and explained each step as the cleanup progressed. She was very reassuring during this trying time. ROB, the project manager was so communicative with my son each time they came to the home and throughout the whole process. He was very professional and timely. Every worker was so courteous and empathetic. They also sent out their reconstruction manager, CRAIG, who assessed the damage and the work needed to restore the condo. The owner, CALVIN, followed up at the end of the demolition to go over my concerns and worry about mildew and mold. I can't recommend them enough! If you have any unexpected damage to your home, Servpro Danbury/Ridgefield is the company to call. They will get you through it with the least amount of stress and upheaval.

I had them clear a clog due to my sewer drain backing up which was disgusting so in a pinch I decided to use them. They came out and did perform the service and charged me $900 which I found out was about twice the cost compared to other services in the area. They then offered me a FREE video inspection of my sewer line which was done the next day that took about 15 minutes to do. At that point I was told that my pipe outside may be askew which could have caused the backup. The tech who performed this was very unprofessional and quick to let me know the minimal amount of details needed and was very quick to pack up his camera before I had a chance to take video or pictures of the results myself since I was called away momentarily. When I asked for me to do that I was told that I should have done it earlier. He then came back to tell me for them to fix the problem it would cost $9,000 - YES $9,000! I told him I wanted a copy of his inspection at which point he said he would submit it to his office and I could get one once that's done. I called to get it a day later and their office told me that the tech will call me back which he did and said that he was going to the office to submit it and that if i want a copy of it - IT WOULD COST AN ADDITIONAL $750 - YES $750 for me to obtain the video taken of MY PIPES in MY HOUSE !!!!! It is mind numbing that ROTO ROUTER has the audacity to charge those type of prices. I spoke to his boss later that day who told me he could nothing about it and that I was supposed to be told about the charges by the tech when he performed the service which he NEVER DID!! Then it became a "he said, she said" situation which I knew I would lose. His boss promised me he would at least call me back with the details of the inspection and never did after me calling him back at least 5 to 6 times and texting him as well. So much for being professional. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS and check out local options for these types of services - you will not be sorry.

Unfortunately it was too late as most of our contents that they removed were either lost or damaged. Ted White stated the walls were dry when in fact they were wet and full of mold. He also plays a game with the homeowner and in fact stated to us that because of "mice feces" etc that we would not be getting back most of our contents. Ted White caused our family a lot of pain. Don't let his company into your home!
