BUYER BEWARE - When speaking with Steve, the owner, I was told not to expect perfection, but to expect that I would have a very nice outcome. I was told that the floors would be cleaned and spot corrected (sanded) before 4 coats of their material went on the floors. My floors were in pretty good shape, so I agreed.
My floors were never cleaned. There are scuff marks from shoes and other stuff that you would expect to see on a dirty floor (hairs, dirt, etc) that are now trapped under the poly coat.
Two of the bedrooms have the product peeling up off the floor completely (the floors were not even walked on for 4 days after application giving the product plenty of time to cure) and the thickness of the plastic peelings are thinner than paper. This leads me to believe that there is no way the 4 layers they promised to put on the floors actually happened. My floors have only been refinished for a week now.
I am not sure if the guy that refinished the floors was careless, or if this is the way they do business. Either way, I am out $1500 bucks and wishing I had never used this company. I didn't expect perfection, but I did expect the job to be done right. I feel misled. If there was ANY question about the possibility of the product not adhering, I should have been notified BEFORE the poly coat went down. Also, it is completely UNACCEPTABLE that the floors were not cleaned (or even swept for that matter) before they were finished.
