I recently re-sided my entire home and decided that it was time to update the color of our metal roof that covers the front porch of our house. New Haven Painters did an excellent job! They recommended quality materials that will last a good long time, and prepared the roof perfectly (washed, primed, etc.). While they were here, I also had them touch up white paint on columns and headers around the house. They matched the paint perfectly to the new Azek. It looks fantastic. Paul was tremendously helpful throughout the project. Lots of great recommendations and advice. I will definitely use them again. Very professional and reasonably priced. UPDATE: We had some touchup work performed by New Haven Painters a few days ago and Orly was AWESOME. Very communicative. Really strived for our complete satisfaction. They did a great job, and it was at NO COST to me! They really stand by their work. read more

Absolute embarrassment of a company! Destroyed wood molding, didnt paint full areas, left painters tape to wall, left urine and fecal matter on toilets, didnt clean up debris in bathrooms, installed electrical plates back on upside down..the list goes on! Complete incompetence at the highest level, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Will be hearing from my lawyer. read more

I personally had a terrible experience with New Haven Painters. After reading reviews, I went with them only to be left extremely disappointed with the process. They initially quoted me 4-5 days to paint the exterior of my home, but it ended up taking over a month. Throughout the process, I had to constantly reach out for updates and was even told by my "project manager" to stop reaching out to the office and if I had concerns to reach out to him. After voicing my complaints of the project manager, I was informed that the employee was let go because of the issues I raised. While I appreciate accountability, it shouldn't have taken my frustrations for the company to address their internal problems. Overall, this was an unprofessional and stressful experience. It's disappointing when a company fails to communicate effectively. I was left as a paying customer feeling undervalued and frustrated. I truly do not think this company is best for working families with the lack of urgency displayed by New Haven Painters. I spoke with an absurd amount of people to voice my concerns and still frustrated with this company for the headache they caused me a month later. Update 12/16 - The paint on my back door is peeling. Project finished Oct. 10th and started August 22nd. read more

I can't say enough about the job new haven painters did on our house. we had rotting loose shingles and it was obvious that shortcuts had been taken in the past. New Haven painters and the carpenters they hired did a superb job replacing all the shingles on one side of the house, replacing other shingles elsewhere and then doing a great job painting. Our tudor house is full of gables and trim - not the easiest to paint! We also had a-lot of rain while they were here and they were very responsive to concerns about that. Thank you Arturo and his son, the carpenters, Jesus and Paul. My neighbor, who has lived next door since the 70's, said the house looked the best she'd seen it in fifty tears! I highly recommend this company! read more

New Haven Painters gave us a quick and competitive quote. They did a large amount of carpentry work. Both the Field Manager, Orly, and the Project Manager Paul, were very communicative throughout the process. The finished product looks great! read more

Had a really positive experience with New Haven Painters. Easy to work with, responsive, on schedule. Will use again!

We had New Haven painters do two rounds of painting for our house that we were about to put on the market. The first round went well. For the second round, we had a number of issues that were never resolved. There were several small things that were not satisfactory and could have easily been touched up. And our front hallway was supposed to be painted white to cover a light green -- but the green remains showing through. We were not told that it would need more coats -- nor indeed that what they had done did not cover it. They said that they would come back and make it right, but they didn't do so. read more

I have never hired painters before and I had a big painting project after buying our new home. After reading New Haven Painters' reviews, I felt confident this might be the right fit and I was not disappointed. To start, I love being able to actually talk to someone on the phone and have good communication throughout the project. Todd was able to answer all my questions with clear information and caring follow up. The detailed estimate, ease of secure payments, on time service, hard working and respectful crew, careful paint prep, cleaning up at the end of each day all make a smooth process which can be somewhat stressful. Thank you so much !! read more

NHP painted our home exterior in late May. We found them through an internet search, after getting poor responses from several other contractors, and one ridiculously overpriced estimate from one of them. From first contact, Todd and his crew were punctual, super-responsive to texts and emails, and provided a detailed and very fair estimate for the work. Work began as scheduled, and was finished within a week. The crew took care to not damage our considerable flowers and shrubs at the foundation walls. the principal crew chief Wilson was a pleasure to work with, in constant contact with us, and very responsive to a number of nit-picking requests. We were very pleased with the end product. Great job! read more

I spoke to Paul and agreed on what I felt was a reasonable amount to do some finish painting that included caulking and painting some crown molding and trim. The crew that showed up; Brandon, Roman and Gilberto were efficient, hard working and very polite I could not have been more pleased with the workmanship either. I would highly recommend them Nice job!!! read more

Very disappointed. The painters came and left spots behind the toilet and vanity undone. I had to go back and re-do the work. They also did not take light switch covers off before painting and painted around them. Poor job cutting along the trim and blotches left. There was a part of trim they said they could not do because they couldn't reach it. My friend ended up painting the trim with no issues. Paint splatters left on trim, doors, floors and vanity. I had to spend time washing them off. Dust everywhere. Covers not used to protect furniture. NHP definitely needs to train their painters better. They did not speak English so I had a hard time communicating with them about the job they were supposed to do. I eventually hired someone else to finish the job and fix the poorly done areas. read more

Glenn and his team did an amazing job completely repainting our new condo and installing the perfect kitchen back-splash. The quality of the job was top-notch, the paint was high quality (and did not smell much), and throughout the whole process Glenn kept us up to date on how things were going. We'd highly recommend them for any of your painting / remodeling needs! read more

I take care of a property for a friend. I needed the house painted. Went on that home advisor website to get quotes. Got a lot of messages. I picked five companies to come to the house and take a look. New Haven painters were the only company that sent a professional thorough quote. They were a little more expensive then the others but the level of professionalism was the reason I went with them. Paul was great and I'd definitely recommend them. read more

New Haven Painters pressure washed and painted the exterior or our home - a big job that was well done. Glenn was professional and knowledgeable. His team was hardworking and took great pride in their work. We are pleased with the results and would definitely recommend this company. read more

New Haven Painters has worked on my professional studio, and home. At my office, they painted our exterior, all our interior walls and trim, varnished barn wood desks, painted furniture. At home, they have already re-stained our exterior shingles (making a disaster of a power wash from someone else look like new), painted trim, and soon interior cabinets and floors. Glenn and team are meticulous, professional, reliable and fair. I could not recommend them more. More work just done - just as good and reliable! read more

Glenn & his team did an amazing job. Our paint job was super last minute & a lot of work, these guys came in & for the job done in 2 & 1/2 days, working non stop & painted 6 rooms along with patching & touch ups. So pleased with them & their pricing. Will be using them again very soon! read more

We just finished a project with New Haven Painters and we were thoroughly impressed with their professionalism. Glenn, the owner was extremely responsive, on-time and customer-oriented. They left the work area clean each and every day and were very willing to go the extra mile to complete the job thoroughly. We made some changes along the way and they were able to accommodate us without a hitch! Recommend highly! read more

I had a long-term tenant move out and leave an apartment in utter disrepair. New Haven Painters went in there and worked miracles. They painted the entire 3-bedroom apartment, refinished the wood floors, laid linoleum tile in the kitchen and bathroom, repaired popcorn ceilings, removed a drop ceiling in the bathroom, installed a new bathroom vanity and so much more. It looks like a brand new apartment. Glenn and his team provided updates throughout the process and completed the work on time. I would not hesitate to recommend New Haven Painters. read more
