After reading a few of the reviews associated with Morella's I anticipated a quality business interaction. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I desired some alterations to some business clothing and upon meeting Morella attempted to explain my request. Morella was barely attentive, bordering on dismissive, and engaged with the charisma of a used tire. The adjustments were completed at a price that seemed steep, but I'll admit that might be my subjective reflection based on her pretentious air and her inexplicable nonchalance. Truth be told, even her employees seemed a bit timid and Stepfordesque when she swept out from behind the curtain. Solidifying my conclusion that Morella is just out of touch, I experienced the same dismissiveness when I returned to pick up my items. Obviously, I won't be returning. read more

Phenomenal hidden gem on the island. On December 29th I needed to get my tuxedo pants adjusted for New Year's Eve (I procrastinated). They told me it would be ready by 3pm on the 31st. Already fantastic customer service. They only charged me $38 for a RUSH job, did fantastic work, and even had it ready a day early on the 30th. I'm definitely bringing all of my suit adjustments to them the future. read more

It is so hard to find good quality food and service nowadays. Mirellas gave me faith again! I ordered the crab cakes and Philly cheese steak. Both dishes were fantastic. This is now my go to spot for dinner and drinks. Such a great addition to the Wicker neighborhood! Everyone needs to try Mirellas. read more

One of my favorite places on the island. I keep a basket in my closet of clothes I am tired of wearing or don't fit great just so I can visit Morella, Precious, and Shelby. They do excellent work, and Morella can make anything better. She is a genius with fabric! Some of my favorite pieces in my closet are items she has reworked. I highly recommend Morella's! read more

Love this shop! The owner is an awesome lady and very stylish to boot! I've had dresses and pants altered and my husbands suit jacket and pants. She is also honest.
