Obviously, the previous owners replaced either the door lock or ignition, but I needed to get in the car to open the hood and jump the battery. I work from home, and the complications came from the fact that I would be in meetings for most of the day. He was traveling but we negotiated a window of time when I could be between meetings. He called me upon arrival, opened the door within a couple of minutes, and handed me a new key within a couple more. He was so professional that it made the whole experience worth my writing a review.

I knew exactly where the back up key was but I would have to drive 5 hours round trip to get it. Decided to call Island Key to see if they could break us... I mean gently nudge us back into our house. I called the number and the owner picked up promptly and said he was a few minutes away. 5 minutes later he showed up. Their prices were extremely unreasonable. Right off the bat I could tell that the owner of this company was more honest than the folks at Atlantic (or, the other, non approved AAA membership locksmith that I called from a Google search) because he explained the cost and process - it made a difference in price when I had both parts of the key. When the van came to my home, both the owner and his business mate were so kind, honest, did the job precisely and quickly (and with great conversation too!) They didn't charge me $40-$60 JUST to come out to my house. The price they quoted me is the price I paid. I recommend this business more than any other small business I can think of.

From start to finish it was a great experience. Amy in the office is personable and efficient. She actually emails/calls you back! How refreshing. And Locksmith Kristin is absolutely the best. She spends time explaining things to you (we installed Smart Locks) but moves along to get the job done. Kristin's apprentice, Nelson, was very nice too and as long as he takes his lead from Kristin, he will be fabulous too! I am completely satisfied with the entire experience with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them. Reliable, good and everyone I dealt with was very, very nice.
