I tried other locksmiths, and they either didn't get the job done, or they were never in their shop. Which was incredibly frustrating, cost over $100, and a waste of a week's worth of time! I finally broke down and called a Nissan dealership; they wanted $65+Tax for the key and $135to program the key, so over $200 for a key. Luckily I decided to search one more google map search and found Jon's Locks. I called them, and the message said," if we don't pick up, please text us," which I did, they immediately texted me back and quoted me $75 plus tax. I Immediately went there (skeptical that this was too good to be true). When I got there, I was met by the owner's son, and he confirmed the price and explained how they could do it for that price. All I can say is that they're friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, fair, and deserving of your business.

Perhaps if my husband was there he wouldn't have started so High. Seemed extremely high for a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. It was like he just made numbers up on the spot based on where we lived..... Then he said he'd call his boss to see if they could lower it, they lowered it apparently 13% which was over text..... I don't even think he texted his boss.... I think he just changed the numbers. When agreed to the cost, he then proceeded the open the car for us and when he was done I ha de shim a credit card and he told me he then had to charge me a 5% service fee....... And was annoyed because he just took 13% percent off and then wanted to charge me a 5% credit card fee..... he said he'd call could follow me to an atm to pay him cash to Avoid the fee. That's when I got sketched out and literally just wanted this man to leave. It's illegal for him to chafe a service fee for credit card transactions in MA. But I decided instead of arguing with him, I would drive to the gas station and use the atm there where I knew people would be around. The service was quick and I appreciate that but the financial aspect was extremely illegal and unprofessional so I'm giving a low review based on that.
