We were confident in his abilities based on how well he listened to our concerns and was able to help in a pinch. He was personable and engaging. We felt his estimate was fair and honest. He helped walk us through the RISE process for Weatherizing our home, and was super patient as we dealt with a lengthy delay in processing the 0% financing loan - which in the end, was the most frustrating part of it. But, surprise, surprise, that's a RISE problem - not an RE Coogan problem! Coogan's dedicated team of professionals were efficient, prompt and neat throughout the installation of our new unit. Our heat and hot water never worked so well - atleast in the years I can remember! He brought us great peace of mind and a relationship that we are fortunate to have for our future needs.

Most either weren't familiar with my boiler or couldn't schedule a service call for days. When I called Rob, the owner of R. E. Coogan Heating Inc., he explained that they were busy but promised to stop by that evening to see what he could do. Rob arrived around 7 PM and spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem. Although he couldn't get the boiler running that night, he assured me he would contact the manufacturer the next day and continue looking for a solution. True to his word, he called me the following day with recommendations from the manufacturer and returned that evening to try them. It was clear that he was doing everything possible to repair the boiler and save us the expense of a replacement. Unfortunately, the boiler could not be repaired because the required parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. After exhausting every reasonable option to restore it, Rob helped us move forward with a replacement as quickly as possible. After four days without hot water, I expected we would have to wait at least another week for a new installation. Rob initially estimated that the work could begin Friday and be completed by Monday. However, he called on Wednesday to let me know he had rearranged his schedule and hoped to start earlier. At 3 PM on Thursday, Rob arrived with Henry and Nick to begin removing the old boiler. He then brought in additional crew members the next day and worked hard to complete the installation as quickly as possible. As promised, our new boiler was installed and our hot water was restored by Friday evening. What impressed me most was Rob's commitment to helping us. He went out of his way to accommodate our family, worked tirelessly to find the most cost-effective solution, and followed through on every promise he made. Henry, Nick, and the rest of the team were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home, leaving everything clean when the job was finished. It is rare to find a company that combines expertise, integrity, and genuine care for its customers the way R. E. Coogan Heating Inc. does. We are extremely grateful to Rob and his team for their outstanding service and highly recommend them.

On the side of the house with both our CHILDRENS rooms the main board needed a swap instead of Adam coming to do the maintenance he had walked my husband threw it in freezing cold weather because long story short he was to busy to come by. In the mean time we are contractors so we got him multiple jobs that he installed mini splits on jobs that we had been working on. So we did get friendly with him. On one install he installed a completely crooked unit it was a half inch off the wall and unleveled. When we called him to come fix that and finish some plumbing he promised and we paid to do he refused and basically just blew us off stealing that money and never coming to fix his terrible work. After a few months the same thing happened to the main board on our kids side of the house it's middle of winter and instead of us calling because he basically robbed us my father the homeowner reached out and nothing... so now we are stuck with a broken unit that no one locally even sells the low end parts to fix. I highly highly highly recommend not using Adam. He comes off as a nice guy but he's a fraud and a thief. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! He will leave your kids freezing in the winter and not care at all. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for an honest guy! He plays the veteran card and is nice to your kids makes him seem like a genuine fella but it's an act and it really sucks to have to post this but I'm looking out for the next mother who is just trying to save some money but it's really not worth

We were moving into a new home that had no hot water. We purchased a new hot water heater and burner from Automatic Heating Equipment in Providence, RI. We contacted our planned oil company (Petro), which we were planning to use for oil delivery, to install the new system. I explained that I had the tank plumbed in and just needed someone to install the burner. They said even though it was brand new heater and burner in the box, because they didn't provide it, they would not install it. We scrambled around and found Bill's Heating. I explained the situation to Bill over text and the urgency. Bill's technician Eric came out the next day and had us all connected and tuned-up. Bill's Heating Service is a hidden gem of business! They were incredibly responsive, friendly, thorough, and very very reasonably priced. I honestly can't say enough good things about this business. They solved a stressful situation of no hot water, so we could focus on packing and our move. I highly recommend Bill's Heating Service. A+++ service. Thank you!!!

I called R.B.Queern to come out to my house to tune-up my central AC system. My experience with…read morethem was both positive and negative. The PROS: The technicians were professional and friendly. During the 2 hours they worked, they were efficient and did not waste time. Because they charge by the hour ($165 per hour), this is important. The techs found an error in how the AC unit was installed, and they were able to fix it that day. Their fix prevented a big problem of water leaking into my ceiling. Also, when I reviewed the work order, I do not think I was over-charged for the parts they needed to fix my unit; the prices I was charged for the PVC parts seemed reasonable. The CONS: I was never told when I booked the appointment (as a new client) that they charge the travel time from when the tech leaves the previous job and drives to my house. As a result, I was charged $82.50 (30 min) for the tech to drive to my house from the previous job. This is an excessive charge. I understand that gasoline costs money, but to charge $165 per hour for travel time is too much. If they charged something like $30 per hour for travel time, that would be reasonable, and I would be leaving a 5 star review.
