We were here on a Sunday for lunch and I wish I didn't have to give them two stars but the place has plenty of potential to do better. While we were seated really quickly, it took over 15 - 20 mins for someone to get our order and after a wait, we were told the kitchen was backed up. We were served waters twice, both times there was stuff that looked like leftover food floating in the water and the cups on both rounds came with lipstick stains. When my food finally arrived, I asked if I could have more celery and was told sure but after a 30 min wait, it never arrived. It was a busy weekend and they were definitely short staffed. I would go back again and give this place another chance, the decor and ambiance was nice in general. read more

More Brewing - Buffalo chicken wings. This was drenched in so much oil. Skin didn't have a crunch and tasted like it needed to be cooked longer. - Brewpubs Near Me - Huntley, Illinois

Came for lunch on a Friday. Started off with a couple tasters: Boomerweizen and Half Gravity. Then enjoyed a 10oz of the Boomerweizen. Mains: Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries. Very delicious. The right amount of crunch to the chicken and the right amount of spice to the sauce to make it Nashville hot. Sat at the bar and had a great meal. read more

We used to love this place I have to revise since our last visit. This brewery is not great for food or beer. It's extremely loud and WAY overpriced for the quality of food they offer. I'm talking 50% overpriced it's just not worth it. The food is just ok and the service was terrible last time. You would think spending $200 each visit would help but nope. We'll never order from here again read more

I started with their Dole Mansion Beer which was like drinking a frozen Dole Whip. A combination of pineapple, marshmallow and vanilla made this beer smooth and delicious. 7%ABV. I also tried their Cherry Chocolate Double Marbles which is a Milkshake style DIPA with chocolate, vanilla and cherries. 8% ABV . Easy drinking and once again they knocked it out of the park! We sampled Caprese Bites which were fresh and delicious. Paneer Pakora with mango chutney which I never had before and it was very tasty. The star of the night was the Spicey Korean Chicken wings. Cooked just right.plump and juicy.they were the bomb! Tom gave us a short tour of their facility which made everyone appreciate how More Brewing is taking beer making to the next level. Thanks again for a great evening and can't wait for their new location in Bartlett to open this spring. read more

This was a story pretty much like the story of 'sugar high and sugar low'. This place is almost next door and therefore we were excited especially when we saw the menu online. They had American, Italian and .... drumroll.... Indian. Yeah! An American brewery with Indian cuisine! So that was our sugar high. Grabbed the family, stuffed them in a car... and off we went. We were Promptly seated by awesome greeter and receptionist. The ambience was great... large place with multiple visual awesomeness. All great! Our server was great, albeit it too a little time to get to us. We ordered multiple dishes, 5 in total with 3 of them being of 'Indian descent' :-). We started off with the Samosa. The presentation was great, the chutneys really stimulated the taste buds all around the mouth, and the samosas were crisp and tasty! My dish was the Nashville chicken sandwich. I had to cut it into two so I could maneuver it for a bite... yeah was large. Tasted great! Loved it. So The sweet potato fries were over cooked and some burnt. So . I also have a virgin margarita and mmmm was fantastic with the sandwich. This is where it all ends. Lol. My family's experience with food wasn't that great. The burger had too much of cheese and some other sauce. The meat was cooked well but the combination of extra cheese and sauces spoilt the experience. So The fries were crispy and good. So The chicken wrap was great ... so but the sweet potato fries were over cooked and some burnt. So The tandoori chicken platter was good. So . Overall, good place to visit one time and experience the brewery, but I ain't going back. read more

More is HUGE!!!! This is an impressive building with all sorts of things to keep your attention. The staff is being very respectful of Covid mitigations, and because the building is so big, the patrons are spaced out as well. There was a wait on a Saturday afternoon at 4:30, but plenary of waiting areas and basketball on the TVs to pass the time. I tried a Blackberry Sour beer while we waited. It was fine. I also had the Mango beer and the More Lite (all 10oz pours). All the names are clever and there is a huge variety. They were just a bit of a miss for me. There's plenty more to try, so I will, but I haven't found a go to yet. The food was good. Great nachos, good sliders, great fries and tenders too. I would keep exploring the food menu as well. I wonder if the menu will be bigger eventually, I know some places condensed their menus as Covid has gone on, and with the size and popularity for More, I wonder if ''more" food is in the works. Great atmosphere, cool building...we'll be back to continue exploring the menus. read more

Expensive but the Indian food items are amazing. Not really sure if Indian cuisine mixes with the vibe of a brewery. Waitress was nice and food came out super quick except for one persons items. Definitely try the Indian food for a switch up from a burger read more

More Brewing - Waiting for the back room for our big group! Super excited to try it out for the first time - Brewpubs Near Me - Huntley, Illinois

This was a nice discovery for me out in Huntley. While visiting my mother in law for a few days I snuck out around happy hour and went to the brewery. (I know, right?) It is a huge place, but I was only here during Covid times, so capacity was limited but they still had indoor service at the bar (extra spacing) and tables (also spaced). When they're busy I bet they can really pack in a crowd. The number of selections on tap is also huge, but my server was accommodating and brought me a few tastings. I gravitate toward one area of the beer menu so it was easy for me. The food menu is also generous, although I stuck to the appetizers so as not to spoil my dinner. This is a nice place and I hope businesses like this can get back to something like normal soon. read more

I absolutely loved Toris suggestions and hospitality. She was friendly and a great server! She brought our beers very fast. The cheese curds were so flavorful with a light breading! The atmosphere and beer I cannot say enough about. I made frieds with people next to me at the bar. The bartender Tom gave me great hospitality. Tom (a different Tom) came out and offered me and my friends a tour which was amazing! We were able to see all around the brewery , he was so knowledgeable. I told him what my palette was like and he gave me great beer suggestions. The last time I was here I had nachos at the bar and they were amazing. I'm sad they're off the menu now. Overall, the Marbles and Henna series are always amazing! Between the friendly service, great suggestions, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing hospitality....I will definitely be bringing friends back! read more

Drink MORE local beer. This place is great with a large dining area and a couple party rooms to accommodate different groups sizes. Definitely request a tour. I'm not a beer connoisseur and it was great to learn more how beer is made and what all goes into brewing their beer. Beer selection is extensive, so don't let the options overwhelm you. I attended a Yelp Event and was able to try a few of their food items off their menu. It was good and will be back to try other menu items. Although it is located in Huntley, it was worth the drive. read more

One of my new favorite places to meet my friends out!! Full bar and delicious craft beer selection. Started with the Bavarian pretzel with the different dipping cheeses...beer cheese was my favorite! Wings were great and the lobster ravioli was perfect!! Our server Anna was fast and always there when we needed another round and made some fabulous recommendations!! She recommended the margarita flight because I was torn between two...I was able to try them all in sample/flight size and now I know I would be happy drinking any one of them!! Anna was sweet, helpful, and patient with our group! Will definitely be back:) read more

Wow!!! This place really surprised me! We arrived at 5:00 and were immediately seated. Food looked good around us but like top shelf bar food. The waitress encouraged me to try the Indian food. It was OUTSTANDING. Definitely authentic and was The best I've had in the U.S. my hubs had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and he said it was great. More Brewing has been a regular spot for us over the years. Service is always great and the staff is knowledgeable on the beer selection. They are always willing to offer suggestions based on what you like. With the vast menu it's probably the right call to just ask. The inside is open and they have several options for seating especially when the weather is good. The food is very tasty and the Indian options are a welcome treat since many places like this have similar menus. If you like spicy things the Samosas are a MUST. Barley wine is the best beer I have ever had. Hard to get but worth it. All the beers are good.

In choosing the name More maybe they were speculating on the size of the place. This brewery is a warehouse. Well, it's not that big but it is pretty vast. Over the summer I'd been to their alternate location in Villa, which now seems like a shoe box in comparison. We were here for lunch and I had my kiddo in tow. Seeing as home is a ways away I wasn't down for multiple pours, so I had to choose just one carefully. A lot looked good but in the end it was the Falling Colors porter that seemed about right. Falling has a hazelnut nose and goes down silty and stronger than it's ABV (7%). I really enjoyed it. I also had room for another, but will save it for my next visit. They had about 20 crafts on tap the day I went, there's a little something and then some for everyone. The food menu here has some nice options but none, in my opinion, stood out more than the Bermuda sandwich. Wait, which island? Yep..Bermuda. I've had myself a lions share of Cuban sandwiches before but this one was new to me. The only difference between a Bermuda and Cuban is the Bermuda replaces one of the two hams with a layer of turkey. Like the Cuban, it's delicious. Now I'm looking to see what other islands have their own sandwich. Seems like the start of a good food checklist! Really enjoyed our stay here and know we'll be back to dig into those other crafts. Cheers. read more

I think this place is good, but you need to know what to get. They have a decent selection of cocktails for a brewery. The chicken sandwich is tasty. I have had the southwest salad with shrimp, which was light but very filling. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side because they LOADED the salad with too much ranch. The sweet potato fries are very underwhelming, I suggest a side salad instead. I would come again but they do have some room to grow! read more

More Brewing definitely has some interesting beers! I had a brief phase in the recent past of trying out milkshake or thicker fruit kinds of beers. Personally I think these kinds of beers are too sweet and heavy for me but I'm glad I at least got to try them. During this phase I had two versions of the Raspberry/ Strawberry Marbles series from More. Truthfully these beers aren't bad at all. For me it's more of what beer styles you enjoy most of as opposed to the beers being poorly made. Out of the Raspberry Marbles series I had the original one and the Double Strawberry Marbles. Besides those two the third beer we had was a departure from the fruited beers. Into The Trees was good, solid pale ale that we enjoyed. It was clean, clear and didn't sit as heavy on your stomach after drinking which is what I'd prefer. More Brewing has lots of other beers I feel are worth exploring but I think I will direct myself more towards the easier drinking beers like lagers, pilsners and pales. read more

Overall, the beer selection is wide and awesome, the vibes are good, and all the food I have had here so far is amazing, EXCEPT for the pork belly nachos. I was sadly really let down by these. I guess I could've read the menu closer to see that these did not include cheese, but you read nachos and you assume cheese or some kind of sauce to keep them all together, right? It was a $17 plate of chips, cabbage, and a teeny tiny amount of pork. The Cuban my boyfriend had was DELISH, and the cheese curds are airy and super tasty. Don't let this stop you from coming, but the nachos specifically need an update! read more

Love the atmosphere, food, drinks, and service! Everyone is kind and welcomes you with a smile. I'm a huge fan of the More Burger and cheese curds! We had been here once before for an event and liked it so much we have been trying to get back ever since. We finally made it on a Friday night, they have such a great space, lots of room and a ton of outdoor space that I can't wait to try in the summer. We started with the Boomerweizen, we are both fans of German Hefeweizen style beer and we like this one a lot. I like that you can order in 5, 10, or 16 oz sizes so you can try different things. We paired this perfectly with their excellent house Pretzel, a hot fluffy pretzel with awesome mustard and surprisingly good beer cheese. I normally don't care for Pretzels and cheese, but this cheese was exceptional. My wife got the bang bang chicken wrap and I got the more cheese burger. The wrap was very good, with some decent heat and the burger was also good, I added charred (griddled) onions that made it even better. It was very juicy and the 2 thin patties delivered on the beefyness. They have excellent fresh cut fries but the side salad my wife got was almost a meal in itself, one of the better side salads you will ever find. There opening a Bartlett location that I suspect we will be regulars at, but this is a really great place and location. For dessert I got the Rainbow Scoop Fruited sour, its amazing, thick almost like a shake and intensely sour and fruity, it's a special beer. Why would you get beer for dessert at a place this good. We also got that Bartlett Maibock with you know its named after our town, it's very good, we even took home a few 4 packs. read more

Nice big brew-pub with pretty decent food. Really love the location and atmosphere here. Service always great, never had an issue. Only thing preventing a higher score here is the menu size. The first couple times we were there they had a nice large menu with several different options for anyone in your group. The last time we were there, looked like the menu was cut in half. New ownership perhaps? Was a bummer because most of our go to items were gone. read more

Went for lunch recently and the service was subpar. The place was pretty full, and what appeared to be 1 server taking orders in the bar table area. Our order was taken, apps came in a timely manner. We then ordered two entrees and when our food came, the empty app platters and our small plates sat on the table for the remainder of our meal. It was also the last time we saw our server for 30 minutes, when we were done and had nothing left to drink on our table. For a place that specializes in making their own beer, this is inexcusable. We would have ordered more beers but were not given the chance. Instead we polished off a pitcher of water. In addition, this place needs to train servers or hire people to clean tables. Our server came by with empty hands, asked if we wanted our check, but still left all of our empty plates on the table! Even several other tables where people had sat, ate and left before us, those tables still were not cleaned off. Any new customers coming in would have to wait for that to be done- just ridiculous. We have been to this location before and never experienced this. Also, the food we ordered came out in a timely manner and was very good- no complaints there whatsoever. read more

This place was really understaffed and the Thursday curds day the server knew nothing about...even said "why would u put sauce on curds?", in a doesn't sound good to me kind of way. The food took over an hour to get to the table and was cold but we got a free round of beers for the wait....those curds ended up coming but with this dry rub that was very salty, not that good. Place is expensive and undertrained not so much understaffed. Place has a ton of potential it needs much better service. Once the cold food came we just ended up getting it to go. The chili was more like a hash so I wouldn't get that again...the burger I paid for bacon and the next day when I ate it realized they never gave me that either, not a big deal, but after everything else and getting charged for it....whole experience was pretty discouraging and a total mess. The one in Villa Park is better but such a small restaurant in comparison to Huntley. read more

This place was awesome! Happened to drive by the place on the highway a couple days ago. Today I was able to swing by for some lunch. My friend and I ordered food and the blueberry pineapple cider. Holy moly I'm not sure which was better, the food or the drink! I got a burger which was perfectly cooked with sweet potato waffle fries. Perfection! My friend got tacos and she was in her glory! Mind blowing number of beers on tap for your selection. Takes a while to look at the beer menu because there're so many to choose from. I would order the 5oz glasses so you can create your own flight. The nachos were amazing and that was a surprise because normally nachos are average. Street tacos are excellent and so is the chili. All around I was surprised about how good the food was. The restaurant is huge and a Saturday night it was packed. Waited 45min for a table but enjoyed sampling all the beers. They have outdoor seating but it was raining. Looks like everyone buys a six pack after dinner because the beer is so good. read more

The food is either really good (the southwest salad is amazing!) or average at best. I don't drink beer, but they sometimes have a cherry cider that's really good as well. My biggest complaint is the service, which is ALWAYS terrible no matter the time of day or day of the week, or how many people in our party (from 2 to 8). Perry, I can't figure out how to answer your question without editing my review. Ultimately the servers don't seem to be aware that they should stop to see how the patrons are doing between taking orders and serving food, which can take a while when you're busy. I have also had more than 1 server not be able to answer questions related to the various beers you serve and had 1 tell me that you don't serve cider at all. I had to go to the bar to get one. I realize you guys stay pretty busy, but chasing servers down for refills/questions/other needs is a common theme. The lack of service is the only reason that we don't go more often. I could eat that salad everyday. Literally. read more

The hostess was awesome - she deserved 5 stars. Very attentive and told us she'd get us seated sooner than the 10 to 20 minute wait time. She provided us with information which is so important when you arrive. The rest of the visit went downhill from there. From the time we were seated til the time we walked out the door it was an hour and 40 minutes. Why? They are disorganized. Our waitress, Olivia, was good but her job was to just take our order, check in on us, and handle the bill. They had "runners" deliver our drinks, appetizers, and meal. Twice we were approached by runners trying to give us someone else's appetizers. We noticed lots of people waiting for their food so this is obviously a problem. Our waitress also had tables spread out out both inside and outside. She had to make a special trip to each table - didn't walk by on her way to another table. Again - disorganized. Food - We were just there a couple weeks ago with friends at about the same time. We ordered several of the same items. The Nashville Hot Chicken ($14) was good but so much spicier this time than last time. The shrimp street tacos ($11) were minimal this time. They must have put all the flavor in the Nashville Chicken. We took 1 of the three shrimp tacos home last time - not the case this time - the amount was so small compared to last time. No difference in the Cheese Curds ($8). Beer - lots of ciders, fruity, & lemony beers. All around $6 for a 16 ounce. If you want a 5 ounce, then it is about $2.50. It is very noisy (due to the high ceilings maybe?) and there were little kids running around everywhere. It's nice that they have the tables so spread out. When they do put more tables in - they will need to get MORE organized. No pun intended. We were there for 100 minutes and spent most of our time waiting for drinks & food. read more

Had a really fun time at More!!! The beers were great. I had the rainbow scoop, Arketype chocolate churro stout, and the double mango fruited sour. All were delicious, and would definitely order them again. So much on the menu that I wanted to try! Had the murder burger, which was on their seasonal specials, and it was juicy and delicious. The kettle fries were good, but my friend's sweet potato waffle fries were better. The Italian beef egg rolls were great! I was happy they included giardiniera! Our waitress was the highlight of the evening. Morgan Ceh was fast, thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Apparently she was only visiting because she goes to college out of town, but she acted like a seasoned pro. We had a table of ten, and she navigated our orders with ease. Even splitting payment was a breeze - gotta love those handheld POS devices from Toast! I wish I didn't live so far away because I would definitely be back often!!! read more
