We were here on a Sunday for lunch and I wish I didn't have to give them two stars but the place has plenty of potential to do better. While we were seated really quickly, it took over 15 - 20 mins for someone to get our order and after a wait, we were told the kitchen was backed up. We were served waters twice, both times there was stuff that looked like leftover food floating in the water and the cups on both rounds came with lipstick stains. When my food finally arrived, I asked if I could have more celery and was told sure but after a 30 min wait, it never arrived. It was a busy weekend and they were definitely short staffed. More is HUGE!!!! This is an impressive building with all sorts of things to keep your attention. The staff is being very respectful of Covid mitigations, and because the building is so big, the patrons are spaced out as well. There was a wait on a Saturday afternoon at 4:30, but plenary of waiting areas and basketball on the TVs to pass the time. I tried a Blackberry Sour beer while we waited. It was fine. I also had the Mango beer and the More Lite (all 10oz pours). All the names are clever and there is a huge variety. They were just a bit of a miss for me. There's plenty more to try, so I will, but I haven't found a go to yet. The food was good. Great nachos, good sliders, great fries and tenders too. I would keep exploring the food menu as well. I wonder if the menu will be bigger eventually, I know some places condensed their menus as Covid has gone on, and with the size and popularity for More, I wonder if ''more" food is in the works. This was a nice discovery for me out in Huntley. While visiting my mother in law for a few days I snuck out around happy hour and went to the brewery. (I know, right?) It is a huge place, but I was only here during Covid times, so capacity was limited but they still had indoor service at the bar (extra spacing) and tables (also spaced). When they're busy I bet they can really pack in a crowd. The number of selections on tap is also huge, but my server was accommodating and brought me a few tastings. I gravitate toward one area of the beer menu so it was easy for me. The food menu is also generous, although I stuck to the appetizers so as not to spoil my dinner. Went for lunch recently and the service was subpar. The place was pretty full, and what appeared to be 1 server taking orders in the bar table area. Our order was taken, apps came in a timely manner. We then ordered two entrees and when our food came, the empty app platters and our small plates sat on the table for the remainder of our meal. It was also the last time we saw our server for 30 minutes, when we were done and had nothing left to drink on our table. For a place that specializes in making their own beer, this is inexcusable. We would have ordered more beers but were not given the chance. Instead we polished off a pitcher of water. In addition, this place needs to train servers or hire people to clean tables. Our server came by with empty hands, asked if we wanted our check, but still left all of our empty plates on the table! Even several other tables where people had sat, ate and left before us, those tables still were not cleaned off. Any new customers coming in would have to wait for that to be done- just ridiculous. We have been to this location before and never experienced this. Also, the food we ordered came out in a timely manner and was very good- no complaints there whatsoever. read more

Wow!!! This place really surprised me! We arrived at 5:00 and were immediately seated. Food looked good around us but like top shelf bar food. The waitress encouraged me to try the Indian food. It was OUTSTANDING. Definitely authentic and was The best I've had in the U.S. my hubs had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and he said it was great. They are always willing to offer suggestions based on what you like. With the vast menu it's probably the right call to just ask. The inside is open and they have several options for seating especially when the weather is good. We had been here once before for an event and liked it so much we have been trying to get back ever since. We finally made it on a Friday night, they have such a great space, lots of room and a ton of outdoor space that I can't wait to try in the summer. We started with the Boomerweizen, we are both fans of German Hefeweizen style beer and we like this one a lot. I like that you can order in 5, 10, or 16 oz sizes so you can try different things. We paired this perfectly with their excellent house Pretzel, a hot fluffy pretzel with awesome mustard and surprisingly good beer cheese. I normally don't care for Pretzels and cheese, but this cheese was exceptional. My wife got the bang bang chicken wrap and I got the more cheese burger. The wrap was very good, with some decent heat and the burger was also good, I added charred (griddled) onions that made it even better. It was very juicy and the 2 thin patties delivered on the beefyness. They have excellent fresh cut fries but the side salad my wife got was almost a meal in itself, one of the better side salads you will ever find. There opening a Bartlett location that I suspect we will be regulars at, but this is a really great place and location. For dessert I got the Rainbow Scoop Fruited sour, its amazing, thick almost like a shake and intensely sour and fruity, it's a special beer. Why would you get beer for dessert at a place this good. In choosing the name More maybe they were speculating on the size of the place. This brewery is a warehouse. Well, it's not that big but it is pretty vast. Over the summer I'd been to their alternate location in Villa, which now seems like a shoe box in comparison. We were here for lunch and I had my kiddo in tow. Seeing as home is a ways away I wasn't down for multiple pours, so I had to choose just one carefully. A lot looked good but in the end it was the Falling Colors porter that seemed about right. Falling has a hazelnut nose and goes down silty and stronger than it's ABV (7%). I really enjoyed it. I also had room for another, but will save it for my next visit. They had about 20 crafts on tap the day I went, there's a little something and then some for everyone. The food menu here has some nice options but none, in my opinion, stood out more than the Bermuda sandwich. Wait, which island? Yep..Bermuda. I've had myself a lions share of Cuban sandwiches before but this one was new to me. The only difference between a Bermuda and Cuban is the Bermuda replaces one of the two hams with a layer of turkey. Like the Cuban, it's delicious. Now I'm looking to see what other islands have their own sandwich. Seems like the start of a good food checklist! Really enjoyed our stay here and know we'll be back to dig into those other crafts. This place was awesome! Happened to drive by the place on the highway a couple days ago. Today I was able to swing by for some lunch. My friend and I ordered food and the blueberry pineapple cider. Holy moly I'm not sure which was better, the food or the drink! I got a burger which was perfectly cooked with sweet potato waffle fries. Perfection! My friend got tacos and she was in her glory! I think this place is good, but you need to know what to get. They have a decent selection of cocktails for a brewery. The chicken sandwich is tasty. I have had the southwest salad with shrimp, which was light but very filling. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side because they LOADED the salad with too much ranch. More Brewing definitely has some interesting beers! I had a brief phase in the recent past of trying out milkshake or thicker fruit kinds of beers. Personally I think these kinds of beers are too sweet and heavy for me but I'm glad I at least got to try them. During this phase I had two versions of the Raspberry/ Strawberry Marbles series from More. Truthfully these beers aren't bad at all. For me it's more of what beer styles you enjoy most of as opposed to the beers being poorly made. Out of the Raspberry Marbles series I had the original one and the Double Strawberry Marbles. Besides those two the third beer we had was a departure from the fruited beers. Into The Trees was good, solid pale ale that we enjoyed. It was clean, clear and didn't sit as heavy on your stomach after drinking which is what I'd prefer. More Brewing has lots of other beers I feel are worth exploring but I think I will direct myself more towards the easier drinking beers like lagers, pilsners and pales. read more

My biggest complaint is the service, which is ALWAYS terrible no matter the time of day or day of the week, or how many people in our party (from 2 to 8). Ultimately the servers don't seem to be aware that they should stop to see how the patrons are doing between taking orders and serving food, which can take a while when you're busy. I have also had more than 1 server not be able to answer questions related to the various beers you serve and had 1 tell me that you don't serve cider at all. I had to go to the bar to get one. The hostess was awesome - she deserved 5 stars. Very attentive and told us she'd get us seated sooner than the 10 to 20 minute wait time. She provided us with information which is so important when you arrive. The rest of the visit went downhill from there. From the time we were seated til the time we walked out the door it was an hour and 40 minutes. Why? They are disorganized. Our waitress, Olivia, was good but her job was to just take our order, check in on us, and handle the bill. They had "runners" deliver our drinks, appetizers, and meal. Twice we were approached by runners trying to give us someone else's appetizers. We noticed lots of people waiting for their food so this is obviously a problem. Our waitress also had tables spread out out both inside and outside. She had to make a special trip to each table - didn't walk by on her way to another table. Again - disorganized. Food - We were just there a couple weeks ago with friends at about the same time. We ordered several of the same items. The Nashville Hot Chicken ($14) was good but so much spicier this time than last time. The shrimp street tacos ($11) were minimal this time. They must have put all the flavor in the Nashville Chicken. We took 1 of the three shrimp tacos home last time - not the case this time - the amount was so small compared to last time. No difference in the Cheese Curds ($8). Beer - lots of ciders, fruity, & lemony beers. All around $6 for a 16 ounce. If you want a 5 ounce, then it is about $2.50. It is very noisy (due to the high ceilings maybe?) and there were little kids running around everywhere. It's nice that they have the tables so spread out. As a semi-regular at their Villa Park location, the size of the Huntly location is incredible. With that said, a recent Saturday "lunch and a couple" was a good first visit. Everything on the menu is tasty-House Pretzel with three sauces in particular is a great starter. Street tacos (steak and shrimp) were good and the sauces on their wings and really everything stand out. Being such a large location, their selection was vast and is a main reason More is really booming-many IPA variations, as well as sours, Milkshake varieties and others-give every beer palate multiple things to try.
