Cesar, the arborist that came to do the inspection and estimate for this work tried to do the pruning in a way that did no harm to any of the trees involved. One neighbor needed to have a 'weight reduction' on two trees as they were tall and swayed quite a bit in high winds. This service took about 15% off upper limbs, which also reduced the strain on the root system. There is a definite reduction of fear that these trees might come down in a bad storm. The other neighbor needed one 'dead' tree removed, and another live tree removed as it was leaning over a neighbor's property. The crew that did all of this work was there on time (actually early), Each worker was aware of the scope of work to be done. They were very efficient as each worker had an assigned task. The climbers used all of the safety equipment I could have imagined being necessary. Cleanup was very thorough, and left the properties in the same or better condition than when the job was started. Please note that Atlanta Arbor is covered with both liability as well as workers comp insurance coverage. I will certainly use them again as the need arises.

We also requested a French drain put in to stop the water erosion. A week later it all seems to be draining properly. The things that gave us pause were the definition of the flat rate work day that we were paying for. We paid for two days of a "work day". The first day they were here from around 9:30AM to roughly 4PM. Dan stated this was a longer work day. The second day they were here from 8:30 to about 12PM. The team did not take breaks except for about a 30 minute lunch on site. Things I take into consideration, but still not what we were expecting for a "work day". I should have clarified. Though the overall work seems pretty good, they did leave a lot of debris and earth underneath our tree. Some of this was removed from the yard to re-sod the yard.
