He provided a very competitive estimate and a clear, concise contract that laid out the scope of work in impressive detail. What stood out most was the crew's professionalism and attention to detail. This was a labor-intensive project that lasted over a week, and the team maintained a high standard from start to finish. They arrived on time each day and were exceptionally conscientious about protecting our property--carefully covering plants, sidewalks, and windows. Sergio kept me updated throughout the week, ensuring I was informed of the daily progress and answering any questions I had. The cleanup was thorough, and the construction and final stucco work is absolutely flawless. Having hired many contractors over the years, I can say Roofix is at the top of my list for excellence and integrity. I highly recommend Sergio and his team for any roofing or soffit needs in San Diego and North County. I look forward to working with them again.

I reviewed the eight companies, spoke with their owners, and chatted with neighbors about their roofs. One name kept coming up...someone I had no quote from. Oscar Lopez! Repeatedly his name came up...just in talking to people who had new roofs. He does not have past customers; he has raving fans. People loved him and his pricing. I am among them now because he smoked all the other quotes, came and did the job quickly and without grief and is just the nicest guy. His entire crew was great...the kinda crew you go buy beers for. LOL We had termite damage and had to replace a great deal of wood. I had the entire new roof treated with Bora-Care, then tented the house for fumigation before using primer (to seal in the Bora-Care) and installing the underlayment. Oscar was completely supportive of this request and worked with our pest control contractor, returning to complete the roof a week later. Some roofers didn't wanna do this and told me it was not necessary but that's what I wanted so I could try to prevent the return of termites. As far as I'm concerned, Oscar's roofing company sets the customer care bar so high, other roofers need to charter a jet just to see it. Do yourself a favor...gather a ton of estimates and then meet with Oscar last. You'll instantly realize Oscar is head & shoulders above his competition. Zero room for improvement. He's the guy you'll like and be glad you hired. Lopez Roofing...for those who have trust issues! ROTF!

During the initial estimate, he went up on the roof to do a thorough inspection and took the time to explain the entire process to me so I knew exactly what to expect. The pricing was very fair, especially compared to other quotes I considered. I was also impressed with the speed of the project; the entire job, including painting the new fascia to match, was completed in just over a day. Freddy was incredibly professional throughout and even provided me with pictures before and after the job was completed so I could see the progress for myself. They even went above and beyond by fixing a couple of broken tiles that were discovered after the initial estimate was completed. The communication was clear, the work was professional, and they made the whole project stress-free. It's hard to find that kind of transparency and attention to detail these days. Highly recommend Freddy and the Armour Roofing team!

We researched local SD County roofers (from where we're at now - over 1500 miles away) and discovered Roof Masters. Chris L., our Project Manager inspected the roof and provided a VERY thorough analysis, complete with pictures and video. He then developed an estimate with several options. We opted for the 40 year workmanship warranty, and learned that the GAF shingles manufacture's warranty is good for 50 years. Roof Masters communication's and presentation was impressive and detailed. I was especially impressed with how well they cleaned up at the end of each day, making sure the area was left free of debris and nails. They started my project without first obtaining the required city permit. The city eventually stopped the work because there was no permit, and the company only pulled one afterward. Another issue was the contract. They used the date they gave me the estimate instead of the actual date I signed the contract. When I tried to cancel, they told me I couldn't because they relied on the earlier date, even though it wasn't the date I signed. They also removed my swamp cooler without understanding how it worked and left a water pipe open, which left me without water for two days. My calls went unanswered until the second day. The craftsmanship itself looks good, but the lack of communication, poor project management, and the way the permitting and contract issues were handled made this a very stressful experience. I would recommend asking plenty of questions and making sure all permits and paperwork are correct before work begins.
