Absolutely STELLAR work!!! Alfredo and his team are absolutely incredible. In fact, they are completely responsible for us getting our dream house. We needed a new roof ASAP in order to purchase our DREAM home, and he was incredibly responsive, flexible with our situation, competitively priced, and one of the most professional companies we have ever dealt with. He stayed in constant communication throughout the whole process, updating us after each day on the progress. Our roof needed some serious attention, as it had been built incorrectly about a decade ago--it didn't have wood boards OR sheeting on it, and had termite damage to it as well. This was not a problem for Alfredo. They replaced all the damaged wood, matched it to the current color, and gave us all new vents that had been damaged by the previous owner. When discussing what direction we should go, he was so knowledgable about different options, and how they would affect our energy consumption and long term plans. These guys are true craftsmen...with extreme attention to detail. Without having to tell them, they go above and beyond on every front possible. I have never seen a roof so perfectly done--the lines are perfect, and his team went above and beyond to make it absolutely stunning. To top it all off, they work FAST! Our Escondido OaK Hill home of 28 years was built in 1974. It needed a new roof. There were some obvious structural issues that would require repair before a fully guaranteed new roof could be installed. We have worked with building contractors before and have learned some expensive lessons. Therefore, we sought opinions and estimates from three roofing contractors. We selected Alfredo's Roofing of Escondido for two objective reasons. Its business license was up to date with the State of California and it checked out on the Better Business Bureau website. Even better, Alfredo was frank when he gave his written estimate. He too could see there were issues, such as a dry rot in facia boards and other ornamental structures that might lead to further repair costs, and there could be other issues hiding under the existing shingles. (As it turned out, there was an electrical issue dating back to the home's original construction.) Alfredo's crew was polite and professional, communicated their start and stop times in advance, and cleaned up well before knocking off work each day. The job was completed in five hot days. The shiny new roof matches our home's paint scheme, is fully up to code and the work was permitted through the city. The shingles are energy efficient and guaranteed for 30 years. He had a competitive price in comparison to the ones we already got... the first company we booked didn't even show up! But I am definitely glad they didn't show. We had been dealing with an older roof for a while and that wasn't a good thing. Decided it was time to get that roof redone. We contacted 4 different companies, of which one didn't even return our call. That surprised me since we needed a roof for 4200 sq ft of house. Of the three that came out, only Alfredo, went up on the roof and carefully examined the repair needed. After receiving the three bid proposals, we opted for Alfredo's Roofing (lowest bid too) as he always responded to our per work questions and showed up when he said he would. The work was started on time , completed on time and there was no over run charges on our bill. They replaced all damaged wood and fascia, re- felted the roof, new drip edge for the whole house, re-flashed the skylights and even added another course of tiles that the original roof should have had. Upon finishing the job, walked me through the job and had me check their clean-up which was perfect. All old materials from the job had been removed(as they were everyday). We even have replacement tiles that he left for us. His crew is very professional to deal with and I can't even express how great it was to deal with them all! I'm so glad that my friend of nearly 30 years gave me Alfredo's number as I don't think I could have found a better roofer. I highly recommend Alfredo's Roofing as he and his guys are the real deal. I never thought I could have been this happy spending that much money because in the end it was worth every cent. Alfredo Galindo of Alfredo's Roofing, CA license #1012016, recently worked on our roof in preparation for a solar system installation and we truly have nothing but good things to say. He was extremely responsive from beginning to end: coming out within a few days of the initial inquiry to look at our roof, putting together a quote on the spot, getting us scheduled for within a few weeks' time, and finishing as promised. But not only that, he continued to be responsive even after the job was finished and he was paid in full, coming back out the same day when I had a few questions and taking care of the smallest of details like you wouldn't believe. For example, after he finishes a job, he walks around the entire area with a large magnet to make sure no metal shreds, nails, or scraps are left hidden in the grass. Who does that?!? Our patio furniture sustained minor damage sometime during the process of the job, and he actually took the damaged part home to repair it. Again, truly above and beyond the call of duty. For all this care and conscientiousness, Alfredo was extremely competitive in his pricing. He not only worked to fit his services within our budget, but then threw in extra services to give us even more value. POOOOOR Communication Would not deal with this company ever, was promises a phone call twice for a quote on a new roof but he never called. One of his workers actually called owner in front of me and promised a call back within 5 minutes , what a joke ! Sad part is he was doing a new roof on a unit attached to mine and would have benefited him $$ as well as me. No courtesy , not even an initial call to inform me that he would be installing a new roof attached/adjacent to mine. Conned my tenant into allowing use of my driveway for disposal truck .
