I will start this review by stating that the body work came out "okay," although it was just minor rear quarter panel damage with some driver side rear door damage, which happened as it sat in a parking lot. However, that is the only positive thing I can say about this place (even though the body work was okay, it blew my mind that they left a white waxy substance on the inside of the gas cap cover which was the first thing I noticed). And instead of parking the car outside the front door where a normal pickup would be, they parked it near Route 42, making sure I got some early-morning exercise in by walking out there. But worse, whoever parked it that far away also parked it so close to a hardscape wall that my door hit the paver wall when it opened; and I did not even open the door that far! Unbelievable -- at a body shop no less!! When I made the appointment (you better be on time!), I immediately felt a sense of gloom and low morale. The guy who handled the estimate was rude, abrupt and overall miserable. Because Labor Day was the following week, they made the pickup date almost 2 weeks from the dropoff date (knowing that I did not have a rental car on my policy, that was hugely inconvenient). Then, I asked the estimator if he could give me a separate estimate for a new bumper, which gets beat up from parking lot concrete blocks that are sometimes too high for the Camry bumpers. His estimate was mind-boggling, extremely high! I also asked, just to have a baseline price, how much a new paint job would be. He outdid himself on that price, also! The worst part may be the woman who works in the front. She had an ice cold personality and I felt she was very nasty and rude (before you even open your mouth to talk). The description "very harsh personality" comes to mind. When she called to tell me it was ready, I felt I was being scolded. (In fact it wouldn't surprise me if I found out she was the one who ordered my car parked far away from the business just out of spite for me mentioning the extra-long time they planned to fix the car. The payment transaction was quick, but that's because she was slamming everything on her desk, moving quickly as she took the payment. I literally could not wait to get out of there!! read more

My Truck was severely damaged when I hit a deer going 50MPH. It was clear that the damage was extensive and I knew without hesitation to only have one company repair it. Brought in my tesla for a quarter panel dent. They gave me an estimate of 15-20 thousand. And said it would take 60 days. I took my car to service king in West Goshen and they did it for less than half the price and completed the job in less than 2 weeks!! They think they are the only gig in town who can work on Tesla's and had a very know it all attitude. read more

Brought my vehicle there last Saturday and got a text that my vehicle was completed on 3/31/22 picked up my vehicle it was cloudy outside the next day in the sunshine 4/1/22 me and 3 other people noticed that the vehicle was painted a different color on the driver side then the rear is the vehicle. read more

Poor communication. Did not receive weekly updates, as promised. My niece was informed last week by Debbie that all of the parts to repair her car were in and the car would be ready on Tuesday. I was 6 minutes late to my appointment and because of that they made me wait an extra 45 minutes to inspect my car even though my car only had a mirror broken needing inspection. The lady in the front desk wanted me to go home and comeback another day and was rude and standoffish, so I asked her to please take me today and she accepted but told me I had to wait the 45 extra minutes. I waited 45 plus minutes just to be told by the Enterprise rental guy that Geico was not going to pay for the car rental. I called Geico and they told me that the car was going to be 100% paid by them and not from my pocket, so the guy was completely lying. These people need to watch their attitude since they are in the service industry. On the end I did not feel safe leaving my car with them and drove away, I am taking it to Caliber collision instead they are really nice and don't give you attitude like these guys. read more

Two weeks ago we dropped my husbands car off to have a bumper repaired. Turns out he also needed a fender as well as a headlight. My husband goes today to pick up the car. The bumper was cracked (it wasn't cracked before), the paint is pealing off the bumper, and there is a large gap in between the bumper and the headlight. We only went there because it had 5 stars and was a Geico Authorized Auto Body Repair place. I don't understand how! It looks like they paint the bumper in a rainstorm. And there was also MULTIPLE extra miles on the car, even a test drive wouldn't be multiple miles. Awful awful place! read more

Worst place ever!! My car wasn't "new enough " for them to handle Geico claim! Then I found out their estimate was 10 x any other shop! When I confronted the manager, he cursed at me and abruptly hung up!! Then I spoke with so many other people that hard horrible service and took them to court!! They almost got to rip me off!! One of the body shop guys was smoking weed outside the shop! Avoid by all means!! I'm sure they will post a rebuttal that will attempt to make them look honest. Horrible service nowadays. We had an unfortunate incident when our new car, less than a month old, fell victim to some adhesive material flying off a truck and hitting the car, ruining the paint. We worked through Geico to find Moppert Brothers and were pleased with our experience. They wet sanded the car and when that didn't completely work, they redid the car's clear coat of paint after Geico authorized it. In the end, the car looked good as new. The front office was very friendly, empathetic, and flexible about drop off and pick up times. If something ever happens that makes us need to return to a body shop (knock on wood it won't), I'd return to Moppert Brothers without hesitation. read more

This business does not stand behind their work. My car was sent to them after an accident. When the same part of my car fell apart a month later, they told me it was my fault and I would have to pay them to fix it. Their repairs are supposed to be guaranteed for the life of my car through my insurance. I will never use this company again. read more

If I could give them a zero I would! We took our car there after a small fender bender. Our number didn't even have a crack! We got a call at the end of the day telling us our car was totaled and the damage was over $9000. After feeling like their story was shady and the estimate was crazy we picked it up and got 2 more estimates! Both came in under $1000!!!! To top the shadiness off, when we picked up the car there was a note in our visor "if you want to get your car fixed call Bob with a phone number attached". Needless to say we've reported them for insurance fraud and got it fixed elsewhere! read more

I just picked up my vehicle from Moppert Bros yesterday after being in an accident last week. My experience there was amazing. The staff was great, the Geico adj there was very knowledgeable and the office was very clean and did not look or feel as if I was in a body shop. I work out of my vehicle so the icing on the cake was when the body shop manager personally helped me switch everything over from my rental car and re-hook it back up in my car! My car was hit by a geico insured driver and I was told to bring my car to Moppert brothers. I was told that the repairs on my car would take 2 days but it turned into a 8 day nightmare and all they had to do was repair a bumper. Every time I would call to check on the status of my car I never got a timeline and I would get a different story on what was going on depending on who I talked to. AWFUL experience! The people are very friendly. However, terrible service! Before I gave permission for my vehicle to be fixed they ordered parts. When I did not agree with their estimates they charged me a restocking fee for parts despite any proof of showing when parts where ordered and my okay to ordering them. Also they wanted money for diagnosing my car because they took some of the vehicle apart. So I am out a total of $225.00 dollars. I initially was going to go through Geico ARX and allow them to fix my vehicle. After some thought I decided I'll pay out of pocket because the originally guessing estimate was only $300.00 over my deductible. Once I heard the large estimate they gave me for the work I had the car towed elsewhere. Hopefully this warning saves someone else from having a similar experience. I was willing to give the money for the diagnosis, but the restocking fee they have no proof of any such thing. I'm hoping they just leave me alone for now. read more

About as good of an experience you can have with a smashed car! I was rear ended by a young man that had "dropped something" and brought my car here for repairs. Everyone that I dealt with was very pleasant and had a clue. They set up my rental car (which was brand new!) and had it there waiting for me before I even got there. Everything was explained upfront to the point where I had no questions left to ask. They had a few high end cars on the lot which made me feel pretty good about leaving mine there.
