I understand why they use a stick with a key to use them but the sanitary function of that is already a minus for me. Food: quite expensive for what I got!!!!honestly way below Average, they recommended the patty melt and it was subpar to say the least, very greasy and un flavorful, too much cheese I couldn't finish both half's when normally I do at any other place. The fry's were ok. The fountain drinks, very messy and not clean Staff: very welcoming and helpful, fast service. Seating area: many places to sit mostly booths ,again aesthetically not very pleasing but looked clean and plenty of space to sit. I risked it and tried this place out of no recommendation other than stopping by and I don't think I will Be back. Maybe some of their other items are good but I will pass on this place. Great staff though. I have moved this up to 3 stars solely because the response to my feed back was well received and that alone speaks highly of making an attempt to help their restaurant to be better. The goal is not to just criticize or review for the sake of reviewing but to actually help businesses and which comes full circle both for customers and business owners. Thanks to the reply I may give it another shot for the burgers if I am in the area and in hungry!

The service is pretty quick, the food comes out fresh, and it's just an easy spot to pull up to when you're craving a good burger. They've also got some nice outdoor seating, which is perfect when you just want to sit outside, eat a burger and fries, and chill. And if you go, I already know what I'm recommending: get the Orange Bang and MAKE SURE you get the seasoning on the fries. Trust me, those seasoned fries with an Orange Bang just hit different. Nothing overly fancy--just a good, old-school burger spot that's been doing its thing for years. For me, there's some nostalgia behind it too. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I'll keep coming back.

Having…read moregrown up at traditional Southern California restaurants such as Tam's, we expected a modern smash-style place like Nilly's to be different, but this visit turned out to be a bit of a mixed-up affair. The burger tasted great, the beef having a good flavor and the potato bun being pillowy soft and doing a nice job of holding everything in place. Nevertheless, it was rather small for the price. We didn't find the chili cheese fries very appealing. They consist of crinkle-cut fries which are just topped with cheddar cheese and chili. Although the crinkle-cut was a novel feature, the chili itself was rather ordinary, neither distinct nor memorable. Considering the portion sizes and the amount of the check, the value we got wasn't really there. The burger has good flavor, but if you're eating because you're hungry and expecting a large meal, you should consider the size and price.

Burger veggies were not wilted nor slimy, and the fries were fried to perfection and seasoned well. We also ordered an avocado burger (none of the avocados were brown or gross) and a Jr Burger for our nephew. This is clearly a local favorite--there were several phone orders and family orders ahead of us, so the wait was a little longer than we anticipated, but it certainly was worth it! I thought that the establishment was fair in processing orders and went straight down the line of how orders were received! The man at the window was kind and approachable. We'll return!

The cashier that helped up out provided exceptional service. There were a lot of items in the menu, so my husband and I were just standing there staring at it lol. The cashier was very helpful with recommendations. He even let my husband sample the beer. When we decided what we wanted, I got the Stand Out Burger and my husband got the bbq sandwich and a beer. And we both got onion rings and sweet potato waffle fries to share. You can also request as many sauces on the side as you want. We got the house sauce, Meyer lemon aioli, ranch, ketchup, and mayo. For a regular burger, the Stand Out Burger was delicious. The burger patty was nice and moist. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, just how I asked for it to be made. I added extra pickles (that were free and available at the counter). My husband really enjoyed the bbq sandwich. He's a big bbq lover, I don't really care for bbq. When I tried it, it was very saucy and bbq forward. The sweet potato waffle fries were one of my favorites. It pairs well with the house sauce and ranch. I kept dipping it in what I thought was the Meyer lemon sauce, but turned out to be mayo (lol) and I kept saying the sauce didn't taste of lemon. But the sweet potato waffle fries actually pairs well with the Meyer lemon sauce too. Another favorite was the onion rings. It had a nice thin batter and when you bite into it, you get that crunchy texture. This pairs well with the ranch and ketchup. We would definitely come back to try other things on the menu!

Though the rice in the sushi wasn't very well-seasoned, the cuts of fish were generously thick and relatively fresh. They have a large menu, so actually want to return and try other items. A really good New York style crust was topped with a hearty sauce, Mozz, and copious amounts of pepperoni, sausage, ham and bacon. The crust held up mightily to the weighty meat. It was airy and offered a great chew. We asked for it to be well done to get a little snap in that crust. The meat was excellent and not too salty. The order process was pretty simple -- I responded to their Instagram story and they reached out with follow-up questions, menu options, and pickup details. The pickup was from a home residence in the city of Garden Grove (off of Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue), nearby Pho 79 if you're familiar with the area. The exact address is provided with your order! The owner, Aamir, was very friendly and professional when I picked up my food and the burgers were packaged very neatly in separate boxes. I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. All in all, I would return for future orders and would love to see them open a brick-and-mortar restaurant someday, ideally in Garden Grove still. 10/10 rating and five stars all around for a seamless ordering experience, delicious food, and timeless customer service.

The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.
