I would give zero starsif I could. My office had to move into temporary office due to the constructions in our new office. I hired them to move from Los Angeles to the Valley. Ivan and his crews was the team for my move. I told Ivan that we are moving back to Los Angeles in few weeks and we would have them back for the move as well. I even tipped them $20 each for 4 guys. BUT I DID NOT HIRE THEM BACK when I found these. I don't like to write reviews especially negative ones. However, I am just too upset. My expensive machines and equipments are Broken and are Not working now. I told Ivan that the machines are very expensive and take an extra care and handling on these. I have to pay for repairs or buy new ones now. The scratches are all over our furnitures. I am calling places to repair the machines and equipments now. I used this company 3 times. The first time it was pouring rain and I felt kind of bad for the 2 movers. One was experienced, but the other was not as experienced. The second guy also hadn't had enough sleep and the experienced guy kept getting annoyed because the new guy kept dropping his end of my heavy furniture. My boxes got soaking wet and the inexperienced guy kept dropping boxes. My electronics were in a plastic bin, but that didn't help because it got dropped off of the truck and straight into a puddle of drain water. My Apple TV, it's remote, and some cables were ruined. All in all, this move would've been fine if it weren't for the pouring rain and the one guy who hadn't had enough sleep. The second move, they again paired me with one experienced mover and one who didn't know what he was doing. One of my boxes, that contained my kitchen aid mixer, never made it off of the truck. Because of the inexperienced people, this move took longer than the first, which was from 2 SEPARATE locations, which cost more money, but most of my stuff made it to the new location so that was that. Luckily I had taken my other valuable items with me separately. The third move was FAR FROM A CHARM. I hired 3 movers because I wanted it to be quick. They showed up with 2. When I asked for a discount, the owner Kevin, said no because they were already there. I had used them 2 times already and now he wanted to try and price gouge me?!?! BAD business! The woman who fields the calls (Cherry) from the office got him to change his mind only after I got upset and told them they were doing this just because they knew I wouldn't get another moving company since they were already there and I needed to move. Meanwhile, she was supposed to be one of my movers and she kept fielding other calls while doing my job that I was getting charged hourly for!!!! She may have been on the phone when she and the other guy were moving my unwrapped solid wood dresser through the door. It fell off of the dolly and got all scratched. They insisted it didn't need to be wrapped. My bed took additional damage as well. The whole move was shoddy at best. All they had to do was move my stuff from one apartment to another apartment in the SAME building. They never wrapped my solid wood furniture in pads and just put them on rolling dollies. 3/4th way through the move, they switched people, two 2 other guys. What was the point of this? Just finish! When I asked for the receipt because I need it to go to small claims court against my old roommates, they never gave me one. I had to repeatedly call them. When they finally sent me a receipt, it was a generic unprofessional receipt from a template WITHOUT the company name or logo, which the first 2 receipts from the prior moves had. I called and called again. I kept going to voicemail. So I called the other number they have listed on their website. I finally got a hold of Cherry and she was rude and made it sound like I was inconveniencing her. All I wanted was a VALID RECEIPT. She claimed that the company had changed their name to the generic name Moving.co and that they are registered with the state of CA. I explained for the 4th time that I needed this receipt for court and how can I prove this is a REAL moving company. She claimed they'd be creating a new website soon and they could be found registered with the state of CA. My lawyer couldn't find this new FAKE company and because they ask for payments in cash, I have no record. Not even a carbon copy of the paper receipt they had me sign. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Ugh, I wanted to like these movers since I found them through Yelp and it seemed like they had great reviews, but I just can't get on that train. Moovit4now started off ok. I requested a quote through Yelp and received a timely response. The service agent, Harrison, seemed friendly enough and coordinated a date and time. I requested an 8am start time, and he asked if we could start at 7am instead. A 7am start time was somewhat inconvenient for us with 2 kids to coordinate throughout the move, but I agreed, given the summer heat to consider. On the day of the move, we were ready for the 7am start time, but what happened? The movers called. They were running late, saying they would arrive closer to 8am. Alright, a little frustrating, but things happen. We let it slide. When the movers arrived, they were fairly pleasant. They got to work relatively quickly. We pointed out specific items in each area and room that needed to be moved. It was a big job. After hours of the movers loading the truck, us coordinating and checking the rooms and reminding the guys of specific items that still needed to be moved but were not, the movers finally announced that we were ready to go--that all of the stuff was packed. We were behind schedule at that point and took them at their word. Looking back, this was our mistake. We were exhausted, but we should have checked all of the rooms yet again. What was the result? - Roughly 90% of our stuff was moved; - About 5-10% of our stuff was left behind at our house. Items specifically requested (multiple times) to be moved were left behind, even after the movers claimed those things were loaded on the truck. This left us with a considerable amount of personal moving even after we paid these guys to do this very work for us; and - Aluminum cans that the movers drank left all over the house, inside (on fireplace mantle, bar area) and littered outside in our backyard, showing absolutely no respect for our property. When we returned to the house after the job was completed, this made me furious. And, the ultimate irony: After completion of the job, which took longer than expected, the head mover asked us to review them on Yelp. Really?!? read more

DO NOT USE! We hired them to move a one bedroom apartment. They assured me they had a truck big enough. Well, they didn't (even though there wasn't a lot to move). So, they charged me hourly for multiple roundtrips. ALSO, they forgot to move an entire kitchen drawer. The old manager was going to throw out the stuff, but thought better and called me. ALSO, a checkbook disappeared. We cannot directly accuse anyone. Nevertheless, it's disappointing. Finally, this one bedroom move cost TWICE as much as another moving company who moved a whole house full of stuff for me. I complained and didn't get any money back or even an apology. Great customer service and professional movers! I bought a heavy sleeper couch on FB marketplace and needed to have it moved 60 miles. First I called a couple other places and then randomly called Moovit4now and after a short call I knew they were my top choice. Kevin was very knowledgeable and politely addressed my concerns since this wasn't a typical move. The driver called me in the morning to introduce himself, and kept me informed through the whole move. I was also very impressed by how they coordinated with my third parties at pickup, and again at delivery. I had a terrible experience moving my stuff to storage a few weeks ago (I literally heard hints cracking and crashing as they shoved stuff into my unit), so when I called those guys two nights ago I was pretty apprehensive. The girl who takes the calls is enthusiastic and extremely polite. Like, really really polite. I had some unfortunate life event and was in a hotel and needed to love back to my place asap. She got me a time slot the next day. I could barely believe it. Their prices are fair (I think about $75ish for two guys per hour) and the customer service certainly five stars. They met me at the storage 15 minutes early and the guys were well dressed, well groomed, enthusiastic and extremely, again, extremely polite. Genuinely nice, cool dudes. They were amazing. Fast, engaged and on it. I left to meet them at home and they called me to let me know they were done and on their way. They made it to my place fast and within one minute were already moving stuff in. Unfortunately the previous movers broke my bed and I was about to be bed less for the night but one of the guys (I think their supervisor or something, not sure) found a solution for me by using the right tools and making sure I would have a place to sleep at night!!! I called last minute to get movers and they worked so diligently to accommodate me. The two men helping me where Ivan and Alejandro and they were just the sweetest guys. Incredibly thorough , and super speedy! I moved all my stuff to storage from my one bedroom apartment . I had them break down my loft bed and they also wrapped all of my furniture with plastic . It took a total of 3 hrs to get everything packed and then unloaded into storage. Not to mention I called several other moving companies and the amount they quoted me was ridiculous ! Most places also have a minimum length of time which usually is 2 hrs and above . Not these guys , they charge per hr! I highly recommend using this moving company. The best movers I've ever used, and I've moved 4 times in the past 4 years. The customer service cannot be beat. Cherry is so pleasant to deal with over the phone and makes scheduling a breeze. She has a fun personality too. :) I've used this company twice so far. This time around, I had Carlos and Alex, who showed up in their superhero costumes, since I moved Halloween morning. They were super efficient, and best of all, friendly. I was extremely satisfied with how quickly I was able to get out and into my new place. Our neighbors were moving out, and since we were going to be moving ourselves in a couple of weeks and had some concerns about another company we had hired, we asked our neighbors who they were using for their move. They introduced us to Carlos, who was helping with their move, and he put us in touch with Cherry, who scheduled the move. Our moving date was this past Saturday, and Alejandro and his crew of three (I really wish I could remember all their names!) showed up right on time, after a phone call to say they were on their way. The four men were absolutely wonderful. They worked so well together and were cheerful and polite to us and each other throughout the day, no matter what challenges they had (such as dealing with miscellaneous items that we had not packed, and maneuvering a heavy, heavy ornate wood desk downstairs, upstairs, and through a very tight doorway. They were very efficient and we really couldn't have asked for better service. These guys were so dedicated they didn't even take a break, despite me practically begging them to. I think the price for the labor and packing materials was very reasonable, especially compared with the other companies I researched. If I could give 6 Stars I would! 1. Great communication - if you email with a question (ie estimate, steps/info required to schedule movers) on Yelp, you will get a reply within 24 hours. 2. Friendly and efficient staff - Cherry (coordinator) is so sweet, and the movers themselves were polite and FAST. Like, so fast. Their energy at the early hour was impressive a 3. Scheduling availability - I reached out via Yelp 20 days before moving. Even though the movers had a job scheduled at 8am in Calabasas on my move date, Cherry offered to squeeze me in at 5AM. Yes, this is early. But I really appreciated the flexibility and willingness to accommodation a date. 4. Cost - A lot of moving companies charge by the hour and have a 2 or 3 hour minimum reservation. MOOVIT does not have this minimum which is awesome for short moves, and makes the (already very competitive) overall fee much cheaper. If you're working with any other moving company besides MOOVIT I don't even know what you're doing with your life ;) read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Cherry, whom I dealt with the most, was the epitome of assertiveness, capability and the definition of every word describing good customer service. Along with her team, she helped pull together a day that couldn't have been done without her. They we're quick, prepared with extra packing material, kind to my belongings like they were their own when helping me pack, and the amount of obvious applied effort from every member of her team is something you just don't see from bigger companies. Lastly, and most importantly to some - they're extremely affordable. My boyfriend and I are moving into a bigger place, which means more rent, more to spend on needed furniture, utilities, etc, and both of us are nursing old injuries, so moving ourselves wasn't an option. We used this company last year and they did a fantastic job. The movers we had last year were quick, efficient, and careful. We had to move again this summer, and of course, we called this company again. I'm not sure what happened, but their work was horrible this time even though we had less stuff to move. The movers were different this time. They broke 2 big pieces of furniture and blamed it on the furniture. They did not apologize or take ownership that they broke our belongings. Also, one of the movers was on his phone during the move. I don't mind him taking a break to rest and drink water of course, but using the break to be on your phone is completely unprofessional. ***EDIT*** I have changed my review to 2 stars instead of 1 star because the company aggressively reached out to me multiple times to fix my hutch door. In the end, I declined because it would take too much of my time to coordinate a time for them to come and take it and then coordinate another time for them to drop it off. They were very disappointed that I did not provide them the opportunity to rectify their mistakes. However, I said I was honest in my Yelp review about what happened on the day of the move (there were 2 opportunities on that day for them to correct their mistakes,but the issues were not addressed) and that I would update my Yelp review to reflect what transpired after the move (my voice was now being heard after posting the negative Yelp review). In the end, if the movers break things, which can happen, there should be some options to appease the customer (discount, fix things, etc.) on the day of the move. No options were given to me on the day of the move. I hope by this incident, things will change at this company for the better. read more

They offer many many services packing cleaning moving and they are available 24 hrs. I needed help and I needed help fast. They were fast and they were good. I am one happy happy happy camper. There was a confusion with the vehicle I requested which resulted in them being over an hour late, but once the movers arrived they moved my furniture and large boxes very quickly out of my old apartment, and unloaded everything even faster into my new apartment. Unlike other companies, they don't have an hourly minimum and were able to complete the job in under 2 hours, which was the most affordable of any company I looked into. I have never worked with cleaners more professional than Moovit 4 Now! They cleaned a restaurant for me that was infested from top to bottom with bugs, roaches, and so much more. And they did it with the best attitude I can ask for! Cherry was the person who took my phone call, and she was nothing short of a delight to work with, from beginning to end. She was respectful and adamant about getting the job done with the best people possible... her family! They really take pride in their work and it shows. When one member is scrubbing floors, the other ones jump in and do the exact same. Throughout the whole process, Cherry kept me informed with pictures and text's showing me the before's and afters. Within 3 hours, they had the place cleaned out from top to bottom. They did things that I didn't even ask them to do, such as cleaning the floors and organizing pots and pans. We have moved plenty in our life and I'm telling you that this move was by far the fastest, the easiest and the least stressful of them all due to these amazing people. Not only did they move everything at such a great pace, but Alex did a very thorough job of steam cleaning every nook and cranny of our old apartment. Wow! My voice was heard! Had a very unpleasant second experience, but come to find out it was isolated to that experience. Referred Moovit4Now to my peers and they did not have an issue. Management takes our voice very serious. After reviewing the receipt and job, management reimbursed the excessive charges added in by the mover. The terms agreed over the phone was honored and are investigating very closely to see what happened. I could not be happier! They called and made a personal visit to show that they care and that this is the first time it's ever happened in a weird, isolated case. The move went well, and the movers were very kind and prompt. However, they left my patio set behind, and I did not notice until several days later, it was long gone from my last place. They also broke a chair and a lamp. They sat the chair down as if nothing were wrong, but the leg was completely destroyed and irreparable. They also broke a lamp and instead of advising me tried to repair with gorilla glue. I only know this because they left the glue behind! I should have watched them more carefully, however, it was a very busy day for me and I left them unattended. Cherry, however, was very professional and courteous. I called her with a last minute request the night prior, and the crew was there first thing the next morning. Will try the service again. Hopefully the next crew will be more careful, or at least honest in the event something is damaged. I will be in touch with the company regarding the aforementioned and will update my review based on how the situation is handled. I would use the company again, contingent on the handling of my damaged and lost items. ------- Following Up (11/28/2016) So, I decided to use the company again a few weeks ago, and couldn't be more satisfied with the service. I've taken too long to write my review, so I can't recall the name of the star of the team, but he was very thorough and efficient. Their team worked seamlessly, all in tune with one another. We were moving from a 3 bedroom unit, to a storage. I was nervous that all the items would not fit. They managed to manipulate the space and get all my items in there. They even took a few items I'd left behind our last move to a nearby address. I would've given 5 stars if this review was solely based on my 2nd experience. However, I'm still bummed about my lamp and chair (though I manage to repair the irreparable). They both cost around $150 each. Cherry was kind enough to give a slight reduction of my rate in exchange for the damage, which certainly was far better compensation than an insurance claim. Also, note there is a variance in rate between paying with cash, vs a card. Something like $10 per hour. Also, there's a fee for each item that is wrapped, I believe it's $5 per item. So, be sure to plan accordingly as the supplemental charges could gravely increase the cost of your move if you're only basing it upon the hourly rate. Though they also charge a travel rate, it is very fair in comparison with the market. Will certainly use the service again. Have a few photos, will share those as well. read more

This was the best move experience we have ever had! We needed to move our things out of a storage facility in Newberry Park to our new location in Simi Valley and Moovit4Now was the only company that was able to do it with the short notice and with lower rates than others. They sent out 4 guys in two trucks. The guys were clean-cut and wearing company shirts. The trucks were new and clean. These guys were able to clear two large storage units and finished the work in about three hours. Can't rave enough about how awesome this company is!!! read more
