They asked us if we were members, no, only members eat for free. Ok can we become members today, yes but still have to pay full price, ugh...ok. Filled out the form, oh not going to do it today come back during the week. Ok discouraging. The brunch was still good. It came with scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, a potato paddy, watermelon, homemade salsa, cake and coffee. Also with free mimosas, Orange juice or cran raspberry juice. I got a cran raspberry mimosa, it was good. We sat at a table by ourselves and no one ever talked to us. The bingo was a better experience, they were welcoming on our first time there but a little pushy when it came to buying cards for bingo. We really only wanted the early bird specials because we didn't want to be there all day but were told in order to get those we had to purchase regular bingo too, so it cost 2 of us 20.00 each instead of 5.00 each for early bird for a total of 50.00. I dont know if this is the standard for bingo as it was our first and last time there for bingo. Bingo was organized well. The Chili Verde burritos were good, small but tasty. They also had Nachos, hot dogs and pastries for sale. People talked to us so that was nice. You need to get here early as their parking lot fills up fast.

This review is about Corral De Tierra as wedding venue (I can't speak to the quality of the golf or…read morethe food). Last spring, my fiance and I looked at a ton of possible venues for our wedding, and Corral De Tierra was in our top two. Donal met with us in person more than once, and cheerfully sat through an incredibly detailed interrogation from me with no complaints. He was very responsive to questions throughout the process, and he was also really willing to be flexible with budget. Some venues we visited seemed aghast that, yes, people have budgets for their weddings, and then proceeded to look down on us. That wasn't the case here at all. We did end up choosing another venue, but it was mostly because of proximity to were we live. I actually wished we could have switched our coordinator at the other venue with Donal, because I felt like he cared about how our event turned out. Anyway, although we didn't choose Corral De Tierra in the end, I would definitely recommend it as a place to check out if you're getting married in the area. You'll be treated much more nicely than some other places.

It's a great spot for small events (less than 50 people). Acoustics are poor due to the high ceiling, so I recommend a sound system setup with multiple portable speakers so no one misses anything shared by the host or guest speakers. The meal was delicious. I had mushroom pasta Alfredo, but other selections included grilled salmon & breaded chicken breast. Each were nicely presented & flavorful. Beverages were available at a station only, but the room was so tightly packed with tables & chairs that movement was limited so I went thirsty. The servers weren't available to assist. Unfortunately, the lunch wasn't served by table; so guests sat with their hot meals cooling rapidly while one type of entree was served at a time. This is very bad etiquette & leave the guests feeling uncomfortable, especially with cold food when everyone is finally served. Food service was delayed long past the end of the speaker's program, so most people left before dessert was served. In fact, many people were unable to stay for the weird entree service & missed it. Whatta waste since the luncheon was hosted by a nonprofit. View is exceptional, but table service needs a skilled event manager who can 'read the room' & prompt the Chef and servers to provide the main course in a more timely way. Hopefully, the nonprofit received a substantial discount for this poorly managed meal.

They have a special where you can bring your receipt to Alvarado Street Brewery to get discounted canned beer same day too. The staff and owner are really nice too. We've been here as a family, on a date, with friends, and for a private event. It hasn't disappointed. Great addition to Alvarado!

Iv called the swimming director multiple times left messages there. Safe to say it is impossible to reach anyone here. Very frustrating I am reconsidering signing my child up for swimming lessons. How a business can run without communication or contact with the outside world is beyond me.

It was a cold drizzly January day, so not too many people here partaking of the air, but several walking around and enjoying the exercise. There is a pool, playground swings and equipment, a community room, and a little park-like area with a big parking lot. The headboard owners showed up and their young son hop, skipped and jumped over to the park to enjoy it, with his Dad in tow. They said that there is going to be a huge pool built soon and the facilities will be updated. Fun place to pause on our way back to SLO.

One of the things that sets Wave Street Studios apart is how effortlessly the space transforms throughout the evening. Our guests enjoyed dinner, then the room transitioned beautifully into a lively dance floor without missing a beat. Our complaint was not regarding that, the complaint was for the utter rudeness we experienced with Amy, and lack of signage or information on the website regarding reservations.
