I should preface this by saying I'm not familiar with Moroccan cuisine so I can't speak to its authenticity. That being said, I can speak to the deliciousness of the menu, and in that respect it delivered in abundance.
The appetizer we ordered was phyllo folded into triangles, stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, and goat cheese, then fried to golden perfection. Absolutely scrumptious. It was served over top a small, simple salad, lightly dressed and abundantly peppered, which was likewise enjoyable though less remarkable.
The entree was called Supreme Chicken, and was sliced chicken breast served over a bed of sauteed spinach, smothered in a creamy, peppery sauce, resplendent with velvety sliced mushrooms and crispy, sliced potatoes on the side. It was to die for. I wouldn't describe the dish as spicy, per se, but it was thoroughly peppered, so if you're sensitive to that sort of thing you may wish to consider another entree.
The menu was exotic but approachable, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the prices altogether reasonable. I have no complaints, a ton of compliments, and a profound sense of sorrow that I won't be able to visit more regularly on account of living on a different continent. Absent that, I'd be a regular. This place is wonderful. read more
