The shoddy clothing quality combined with the relatively high prices are enough reason not to shop here. There are MANY clothing stores that sell quality clothing in the same sizes for roughly the same prices. Laura Plus immediately springs to mind. Seriously, always check their sale racks... Thankfully, they don't appear to have stores anymore. But when they did, you also had to deal with some of the rudest, most unprofessional customer service people you could ever meet. Seriously. The manager at the Square One location from a few years ago was terrible. I once watched her refuse to interview an applicant because she was angry that they didn't show up 30 minutes early for an interview. RIGHT IN THE STORE AND IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. That does not create a good environment for the customer. Well, that was it for me. I walked out of that store and have never been back or purchased anything from them since. As I said, guys. There are just too many options out there for plus sized women for anyone to be patronizing this store. Look elsewhere if you care about good, long-lasting clothing and good customer service/professionalism.

We we were pressure to buy the bridal dress that first day to make sure it would be on time and to get a little signing bonus The dresses came 6 months before the wedding (there was no rush). We booked an appointment online for 2 people for pick up. First got a phone call saying you can't come in that date (Sunday) weekends are only for new customers. It seems once they have your money they don't care about existing customers. I didn't see that anywhere on the website, and it took us many phone calls with them after then finally understanding that Sunday was the only day that works for us. We got there the place was totally over booked. The dresses were still in the manufacture bags. beyond creased. The place is so small. Wasn't ready for pick up to walk down the aisle. They wanted to charge extra $50 to steam it. (Even lululemon steams their stuff when out of shipping bags) and we didn't get ALL the extras that were promised which was offered if we purchased the dress on our first visit. The bridesmaid dress... after measuring it on during the initial visit they suggested a size 10. The bridesmaid always wears a size 6, and was shocked to hear such a big size so decided to size down to a size 8 just to be safe. She had to sign for an 8 because that wasn't their recommendations. When we went to go pick it up, the dress with humongous and literally fell off her. DO NOT trust their measurements. They won't do anything about it. I asked for free alterations for dress. I would pay for the hemming. All I can say all hell broke out. First the person who we were asked to deal with didn't speak English well (she told us that). She got somebody on the phone who we thought was the owner. Was told to take pics and send. She did. Wasn't the owner as she said I'll speak to the owner and get back. 1/2 hour later. We explained many times the reason we had to signed for the 8 was they wanted her to get the 10. They wanted to refund the dress and said we should buy one at David's Bridal. As the wedding is less than two months (we needed the dress). Not happy as this whole dress needs to be redone. The dress was $350. I only wanted to pay half (my deposit) Not happy got $100 off bridesmaid dress, they wouldn't give the bride all that was promised. As her signing bonus I would never ever send anyone to this place. A real shit show. The place is 3 small rooms and they had at least 20 people. (Fire regulation)

My 'dress' was a two piece, quite out of the ordinary, and Merike got my vision and worked to have it fit exactly how I wanted it. We were able to fit in an appointment the day before for Sunday at 11 a.m. Despite the dingy outside appearances, there's quite a great selection of dresses, and Susan, the sales rep who helped my friend, had a great attitude and fetched some great dresses. We came out with three great options. I don't know what my friend will decide on in the end; that's up to her. But out of all the stores we went to, we felt like we had the best customer try-on experience here. There wasn't any pressure to buy, and Susan was genuinely positive and friendly; we felt comfortable with her. Plus, the dress prices were more affordable, about $1100-$1200 for the ones we liked. Though the quality of the fabric may not be as high as some of the other dresses we tried on at more premium stores, what's most important is the style and how it looks in photographs. Though I think we only mentioned a budget of $1500 so maybe there are higher quality dresses at a higher price point. The customer service and value is among the best. Definitely give them a look if you're in the market for wedding dresses.

It was smaller ( I think ), yet I can't compare because I haven't been to any other Bridal Show except for these two. Pre-register and Brides get in for free! This time I went to look at everything else but photographers and venues. I thought I wouldn't come out with any information, but I did, and lots of magazines and swag. My suggestion for these shows is to make a short list of the topics that you need to talk to people about (like photographers, invitations, cakes etc). Try to focus on only one thing, or you may get overwhelmed. You should base this on your timeline and priorities. There are other shows coming in April, and also you have something called the internet. The most time consuming and tiring are Photographers, and there were also a lot at this show. I actually was at the show with my photographer (for her, research, and keeping me company), so I was focusing on other things. I still entered into a lot of draws and things, and I would still suggest putting in a different email address (a special wedding version) for your self, so you can sort through the emails later.

Long story short, the customer service (I was helped by Evan) was second to none. I felt like a king here. Not pushy at all, great advice in terms of fit, and I felt very comfortable. After experiencing the worst experience of my life at Tom's Place (used car sales men who sells suits), I was so happy to be here. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size, otherwise, I would have gladly paid an extra $400 just to buy a brand name suit with Evan. And surprisingly, the selection of suits (and other clothes and accessories) were very good! Although, they do carry "out of season" clothes, they're just as good as in season, especially with the prices. Definitely recommend checking out!

The outlet is no exception to that rule, just that there appear to be a lot more gaudy units in stock. I happen to like gaudy dress furnishings so we paired well in that regard. Heartland is a crap mall to begin with and I don't think Harry's Outlet brings much of anything to draw me back here.
