I usually go to Nissan for all of my maintenance because I get free oil changes. This time I wanted to try a different shop because the dealership I go to is in Feasterville-Trevose so any type of car maintenance is very time consuming. I saw Safari had good reviews and was right done the street from me so I figured I would check them out. Not only was I able to get an appointment the same day, I was also able to get one 45 minutes after I called! Once I got there I was told it would need brake pads and rotors so it would take a couple hours. It didn't take that long! I also had an issue with one of my TPMS sensors and they were able to take care of that as well. As I was checking out, I decided to ask Alan about my other car. It is rear wheel drive so I normally don't drive it in the winter. Last winter I didn't drive it enough so the battery ended up dying. I was looking into investing into a battery tender, but I was not sure if that would be the best option for me. Alan gave me great advice so other car should start right up when the weather gets warmer. My experience at Safari Automotive Service was awesome! You go to these big dealerships, have an appointment, but spend hours there when you have other things to do. It's ridiculous! Safari got me in and out and was able to give me useful information about both of my vehicles. As far as value goes...you gotta pay to play. Cars are expensive and require routine maintenance in order to keep them running on the road. The staff were friendly and honest which is a breath of fresh air. Sometimes shops try to take advantage of people, but I didn't feel that way with Safari. Another bonus about Safari Automotive Service is that they do auto detailing. I've given months of thought to this before writing, but I feel this needs to be shared…read more I've had our previous bikes inspected here for a couple of years before I brought in my 2021 TW200 for maintenance this past year. They are the closest dealer to me and I felt their prices were very fair. I never could have imagined what was in store. I first ran into an unexpected issue when I requested to have a Shinko replacement tire installed on the TW. Mike, the service manager /co-owner stated "he didn't feel comfortable" installing that tire. No evidence to support why. Other dealers had no issue doing so but I didn't feel I wanted to travel out of the area to have a tire installed. I had the bike serviced August 26th and agreed to an OEM Bridgestone replacement, an oil change, new sprockets and X ring chain. The cost was $625. When I got the bike back, I felt a vibration that I didn't have the previous 6k miles. This is the only bike I ride and I ride it as often as possible. This bike has been uncharacteristically smooth since I got it. I didn't see any mention of the front tire being balanced and there were no weights on the rim. I called to ask if it had been balanced and they didn't know. Their mechanic said it was, but it wasn't in the service history. I took the bike back and left it there. I believe they checked the tire balance again (they never told me of their intention to do this) and supposedly had a number of their people road test it, assuring me there was nothing wrong and any vibration was inherent in this type of motorcycle. I rode another 12 hours or so and I was sure there was an issue. By now I felt certain the problem was most likely not enough slack in the chain. I measured it at 3/4". The manual calls for 1.5". I took the bike back again and asked to see Mike / service manager / co-owner in the parking lot, just to look at how tight the chain was. He is standing right next to the bike and REFUSED to look at the chain! He stated he didn't care what the manual called for on the chain adjustment and that he trusted his mechanic did the job right. I'm freaking livid at this point. Then he is yelling they have lawyers, if I care to sue? What! He's yelling that I should leave and never come back! All this would have taken was a quick look and a $10 chain adjustment to rectify issue. I spent nearly a grand this year on services. This was their mistake. I then bought the tools necessary to adjust the chain and haven't had a vibration problem since. This was a totally unwarranted reaction on his part. I also asked to discuss the issue with the co-owner Shannon (she was standing at her office door), and she refused to talk with me as well, telling me she had an appointment in five minutes. Wtf! I asked them both for a business card and they told me to go look on the counter. There weren't any. This is no way to treat any customer, IMO. My wife and I spent a great deal of time to drive and leave this bike at their shop for service, three times. Terribly disappointing... All Rights Explicitly Reserved

Our option was to have the head replaced because this was the second time the Plug insert was replaced and failed both times,the Strohls people said it was not worth trying to repair because the spark plug hole was now out of round.So they did the replacement head,one in two days time,& we were back on the rd. heading back to our home in North Carolina with our camper in tow truck ran great and is still going strong!Grateful job guys Thank you from the Jamiesons N.C. highly recommend these guys very professional!!

It took them several trys to install it, but it is completely understandable and I don't hold it against them. (The update was so new, they had to download it from GM, and they had never performed one before) The techs and staff were very accommodating and the waiting area was comfortable and spacious. I actually did enjoy my time there. I bought the car there two weeks before, and my experience was great. My salesman got me the car I wanted at the monthly payments I was willing to make. I didn't think they would be able to get me the deal, but they bent over backwards for me. This is actually the second car I've bought there. When it comes time for the third, I'll definitely be going back to Wind Gap Chevrolet.
