I called and asked for the sales dept. I asked the gentleman about a 2026 X2 Wolverine 1000 on their website. He asked me the stock number of the unit...I said I don't know. He then said we do not have any in stock I'll get back to you to let u know when they'll be in. 5 hours later I call and get a young lady in sales.. she says "yes, we have those in stock", but it needs to be assembled. I told her the OTD price another dealer provided me hoping they would match it because Blackman's is more local to me. She said we can't get within $5k of that price. I went there to look at a motorcycle and an employee told me due to their insurance, they do not allow customers to test drive 1000cc or higher motorcycles. Mind blowing how that is a policy at a motorcycle shop. Regardless, I was looking at a preowned motorcycle that I was told could be tuned but they aren't sure. I wonder if they allow the Harleys and Indians that are over 1000cc to be test driven. I am 36 years old, it's not like I was an 18 year old just looking to take a big motorcycle for a spin. I've been a licensed rider for 16 years and have owned a wide variety of motorcycles. I can't recommend them since you won't even be able to test the bike out before you buy it. Blackman prices are good but to be a motorcycle dealer that doesn't offer test drives seems crazy to me, especially if it is a preowned motorcycle. read more

It could be that they are inept at upkeeping their website information. Was there for an oil change on my bike $160! It was $68 for 5qts oil, filter and gasket. Which means the remaining $82.50 was for labor and for misc supplies (details not given). Never again. I had both my cars oil changed for that amount a few months ago. I tried to support the local business but it's time to start changing it myself. The service is extremely expensive but that may not be unusual however I've had to take my ATV back multiple times for the same issue a defective fuel gauge. Quick phone call to Blackman's and employee Taylor drove out (in his own vehicle) and jump started my bike with some kind of battery device. If I could have given them zero Stars, I would have. I am writing this review based off of what just recently happened with my husband when he took his motorcycle to be repaired at Blackman's. I will try to make this long story as brief as possible. In a nutshell, they had his bike for 2 months. When he first dropped it off they called him within the first two weeks letting him know that the problems that needed to be fixed. They called him again in another 2 weeks after that explaining they needed wires for it. 2 months later, never hearing any updates or back from them, my husband called them today. They didn't do anything to his bike!! They never fixed it!! I cannot tell you how enraged we are. They basically told my husband.."we couldn't fix it, come get your bike". This screams unprofessionalism to me and my husband! They never did anything to his bike, yet told him they were able to fix the problems??? They had it for 2 months and didn't do anything!! How unprofessional, how unkind, how extremely rude, I could go on and on. This company is horrible and I will never do business with them again. We will also make sure that our families and friends know how unprofessional Blackman cycle truly is. I even tried calling and speaking with the general manager. He could not even have the common courtesy to return my call. I was very polite when I left my message asking him to return my call. I did not even say what the call was about, just that I wanted to speak with him please. This was 3 days ago. Never take your motorcycles to Blackman's cycle! I was looking at getting one of the newly released Honda XR150L dual sport bikes for my son. Blackmans listed they had 2 in stock on their website. I inquired online and asked for an out the door price before I made the trip there as it was about 1 1/2 hours away from my home. They refused to give me an OTD price via electronic communications. Gave me some BS about the customer experience is important. This was a red flag for me. Despite that I did make the trip to the dealership. I contacted them before hand to make sure the bikes were still in stock. I was assured they were. When I arrived at the dealership they only had 1 on the floor with a HOLD sign on it. When I questioned why they told me 2 were available and I was told, "I think we sold one yesterday, and well technically the person that wanted the last one held didn't put any money down so its still available". Another red flag for me. I said ok then give me an out the door price and I have cash today. I was told an OTD price of $4900! That is $2000 above list price! I told them some idiot will probably pay that much, but I'm not that person. Dealers like this need to stop ripping people off. The whole process that I experienced was just a giant waste of time and money. A dealership less than 20 minutes away from Blackman's quoted me a OTD price that was more than $1000 dollars less. Unfortunately I was too late to commit to that one. read more

If I could give zero stars for customer service, I would. I tried calling to see if they had a part in stock. No answer. I tried over and over. Once, it picked up, to put me on hold, to hang up on me. So I drove there. Website says open until 7:00. I have almost 2 hours. I get there. Door is locked. It says appointment only due to Covid-19, call this number. I call. I can see employees inside doing literally nothing of value. No one will answer the phone, nor acknowledge that there is a customer pulling on the locked door, making noise, staring at them. Totally ignored. But wait! A couple people just walked out of the side door, talking and standing around a bike! Nope. They act as though they don't see me as they are standing, facing my direction. I am still trying to call the number from the sign on the door, staring at these employees. I guess it could have been a worse experience. I guess I could have been mugged or something. Short of that, I can't imagine how an owner can tolerate this from employees. I would never go back. I will go out of my way to tell anyone willing to listen, about this experience. What ever happened to the concept that good customer service is important? I wish I would have thought to take a picture of the employees ignoring me to post with this review. Happened to be in PA for a long weekend and saw the Blackman's had a bike I am very much interested in. Stopped by the bank, withdrew the cash and drove an hour plus out of my way (on a Tuesday, so no "it was really busy" excuses), with cash in hand, to take a look. Other than pulling the bike out of line up, zero engagement with staff. No questions, no offer(s) of information, zero. Other than being dismissive to my son, it was like we weren't even there. I'd rather not buy than buy from here. BTW - the glowing 5-star review from Jeff R? HE WORKS THERE. Although you might be hard pressed to tell. Hard pass. read more

I purchased a Can Am Maverick 4 months ago. During the buying experience I was told that I had to register the vehicle in PA cause it is PA law. (Have it in writing) Now, 4 months later the registration and no title. I called in September and was told DMV is is 4 months behind so it will take a while. Whole time they never sent my paperwork in. Called DMV to find out what the holdup was and they said they didn't receive my paperwork until September 18th. I purchased the side by sides in July. I called Blackmans back and spoke with the unprofessional girl that handles the title and registration and all she did was lie. I told to to recall the paperwork as DMV said I shouldn't register in PA if I live in NJ and if she calls right away they will mail it out same day. The girl said she would call. Today, I call and confirm that the paperwork was returned and she said I have to still wait on the state of PA. Four months after receiving payment still haven't driven the side by side. This dealership is terrible!!! They lie and take your money!! Reporting them to consumer affairs and attorney general. Also, filing a lawsuit for payments made thus far on a sxs that I can't ride, fees to registration cause I have to re-register the vehicle, and pain and suffering. I brought my Yamaha jetski here last year and had major problems with one of the mechanics. I will say the female manager, who's name I don't remember was helpful in resolving that issue.. This year I dropped the same jetski off for what appeared to be an oil leak. I was told they would charge me 1 hour to diagnose the issue, and call me with the findings. A week later I was called and told my ski was ready to be picked up. I did not receive a call explaining what parts needed to be ordered/replaced. My bill came out to almost $200 I don't know why businesses can't notify customers before replacing parts. I was charged for an hour and half labor in addition to the part and then oil... I have 3 gallons of oil sitting in my garage, I didn't need to pay for dealership rates for oil. Will not be returning to this location, it's a shame they are the only Yamaha dealer in my area. read more

After several e-mails & phone calls I was told they actually don't have that bike. Thanks for nothing. WAY unprofessional. They should have been upfront & honest & owned their mistake right away. Just recently had interaction with Jeff at blackman sports. But let me start off with when we walked into the place we walked around for ten minutes or so before being acknowledge. Then after we walked around the store went out side and walked around re entered the building and waited some more did some one ask if we needed help. We met Jeff he was very personable and knowledgeable about the atv we were interested in. Sat down spoke numbers and that we wanted a plow with our atv. He told us to fill out the financial form online because we needed to finance some of the amount. Waited a good amount of time to be notified about when we could get the machine. After the huge snow storm we got we were finally scheduled to pick it the next weekend. we live a good hour and a half from this place my husband gets there and it has no plow and they have no plow in stock to give us. Best part was they said that they didn't know we wanted a plow because it was not included when we filled out paperwork online. But it was included in the price we were quoted from Jeff. No sorry we messed up nothing. So 5 days later they finally have the plow my husband drives all the way there was told it's on the cart. Ok thanks just bring the cart back when your done. this thing is super heavy and they did ask if he needed help. Bought my wife a used Suzuki Burgman 650 Scooter there. Sales department was friendly and decent to work with. I was happy with the purchase. But recently the thing died, so I replaced the battery and checked the volts. Still going down. I didn't want to replace the wrong thing. I hauled it back to Blackman's for repairs. Was told if it was the Stator, needed replaced that they would have to do an oil change, so I said fine. Well it wasn't the Stator, it was the rectifier and they still did an oil change, $80 for an oil change, and they charged me $220 for the rectifier, which I found online for around $120. So then the young lady from the parts department called to say it was ready to be picked up. The bill was $620, so I asked what all they did? They replaced the battery with a $90 yuasa after I told them the battery was brand new when I dropped it off. And after I politely reminded her the battery was new she continued to tell me it was a really junky battery and insisted it was shot and I needed the battery. I said NO and insisted that they put the battery back in. So When I picked it up, she still had enough nerve to comment on my battery. I paid the $530 bill without arguing because it was starting to rain and my wife is new to riding and was scared to ride home in the rain. But let me tell you, I'LL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE, PAY SOMEONE $530 FOR $300 PARTS AND LABOR, AND THEY DON'T EVEN SAY THANK YOU !!!!!!!! P.S. My shot junky battery is still doing a fine job and my wife loves riding her scooter to work... read more

Cannot say enough great things about this dealership. John is the best! Was shopping to get my father a motorcycle from Christmas 2012. Called around got the usual salesman run around from multiple dealerships. Called John at Blackmans two days before Christmas eve, asked him what the best deal he could do was, and man good thing I was sitting down when he gave me the numbers! They even delivered it the last day they were open before the Christmas holiday just so my dad could have it Christmas day! We have gone back there several times, the staff remembers us and even the motorcycle we had bought, we are a good hour drive but we will and have been repeat customers for everything. They gave him a fantastic deal on all his safety gear so he could be safe on the road. Just went back about 3 weeks ago for our inspection, and they remembered us and asked us how our Yamaha Vstar 650 was running. The best in customer service.
